What is Disney Solitaire?
At its core, Disney Solitaire is a digital version of the classic card game “Klondike” — the version most people know from playing solitaire on computers. The game pairs this timeless format with beautiful Disney-themed graphics, unique card designs, and relaxing music from popular Disney films. In Disney Solitaire, each level you play brings a new backdrop or card set inspired by iconic characters like Mickey Mouse, Elsa from Frozen, or Moana. These visual elements keep the experience fresh and fun.
Understand the Core Gameplay Mechanics of Disney Solitaire
The gameplay of Disney Solitaire is quite reminiscent of the classic solitaire, albeit with a Disney like twist. The gameplay is similar to a standard solitaire game, but with elements from the Disney and Pixar universe. The primary goal is to clear the solitaire table by selecting a card that is one rank higher or lower than the existing card in the slot. When you start a level, you should see 3 sections – one of the sections are all the cards on the table, the next section is the pile of face down cards that you can use to draw from, and the last section is that of the card which is separated at the bottom side.
Players need to move cards from the table to the bottom section. Multiple cards on the table are yet to be revealed and only some will be visible. Players can only choose a card 1 rank higher or lower than that of the card on the bottom. For example, if the card on the bottom is 3 of spades. Then, players can only choose 2 or 4 number cards, regardless of their color. Hence, color plays little to no importance in the grand scheme of things. However, some missions in the later levels can have color-related matching challenges as well.
Experience Gradual Increase in Difficulty at Higher Levels!
You receive one Star for each level you complete. Those stars unlock scenes from the current Disney series. If you make a mistake, you can undo your previous moves by clicking the Reverse arrow next to the slot. If you don’t have a card that matches the current card in play, you can draw one from the Deck. If you find a card that is one rank higher or lower than any other card on the table, you will be able to simply complete the level.
We recommend clearing the table as much as possible before requesting assistance with additional cards from the Deck or any other means. The Wild Card feature lets you select any card from either the solitaire table or the deck. It doesn’t matter whatever card is currently at the top of the card slot.
Make Win Streaks to Get Bonus Rewards!
When you select a card from the table that corresponds to the current card in the slot, it shows the card beneath it. The game continues in this manner, with you using a card and revealing more for future play. You can also add more cards to your deck by exposing the Bonus Cards on the table. It gives you additional options to choose from.
The Streak Bonus is maintained by selecting cards continuously without taking breaks. For each streak you keep, you will receive additional rewards in the form of cash, puzzle pieces, and other items. Runner Cards are also significant since with each move, they either rank higher or lower based on the sign they have. So, you must use them properly.
Unlock and Complete Different Disney Scenes
Like we hinted at earlier, Disney Solitaire is more than a Disney re-skinned version of classic Solitaire. It features multiple unlockable scenes from iconic movies in the Disney and Pixar universe. Players can complete albums of coveted titles such as The Lion King, Toy Story, Frozen, Moana, and more. Each franchise has a separate album from which players can unlock different scenes. This feature can be accessed by clicking on the Memory Lane function that is located inside scenes UI at the bottom left-hand side of the main menu.
Players can enjoy playing Disney Solitaire on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
