The competitive scene of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is about to get a whole lot more crowded and exciting with the arrival of its 133rd hero, Hirara. Currently making waves on the Advanced Server, this Assassin is far from your typical button-mashing character. She brings a fresh layer of complexity to Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by introducing a unique dragging mechanic that merges her two primary weapons into devastating combo skills. If you are looking for a hero that rewards high mechanical skill and frame-perfect timing, Hirara is exactly what the meta ordered.

Hirara Hero Overview: The Dual-Wielding Phantom

Hirara is designed as a high-mobility, high-burst Assassin who excels at weaving in and out of combat. Her aesthetic and kit revolve around her Twin Fans, known as Ukifune, which she uses to manipulate energy and delete squishy targets before they even realize she is there. Unlike many Assassins who rely on a set sequence of 1-2-3, Hirara requires players to think on their feet by dragging one skill onto another to create a third, more powerful ability.

This hero is not for the faint of heart or those who prefer a laid-back experience. She is built for the hyper-aggressive player who thrives on high Actions Per Minute and outplaying opponents through sheer mechanical superiority. Her win condition is simple but difficult to execute: rotate faster than the enemy, find an opening on the backline, and execute a perfect combo to vanish before the enemy tank can react.

Strengths and Weaknesses of Hirara

To master Hirara, you must first respect her limitations. Her greatest strength lies in her absurd 100-to-0 burst potential. When her stacks are managed correctly and her combos are executed without a hitch, she can erase a Marksman or Mage in a blink. Her mobility is equally impressive, offering tools for both diving deep into enemy territory and making a quick exit when things get spicy.

However, she is the definition of a glass cannon. Hirara has zero margin for error. If you whiff a dash or mistime your untargetable state, you will be deleted instantly by any form of hard crowd control. She demands perfect timing and a deep understanding of enemy cooldowns. If you dive into a teamfight while the enemy Tigreal or Atlas still has their ultimate ready, you are essentially gifting the opponents a free kill.

Hirara Abilities in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

Check out all the abilities of the new hero Hirara coming to MLBB:

Twin Fans: Ukifune (Passive) – Hirara wields two distinct weapons: Kaerazu and Meisen-e. This passive is the main showcase of the hero, allowing you to combine her abilities by dragging one skill icon onto the other to cast a specialized Combo Skill. Hirara operates on a system of Crimson and Death Energy, starting with 4 stacks. Using a base skill costs one energy, while a combo skill costs two.

Her energy recovers over time, but casting interrupts this. Additionally, any Cooldown Reduction you buy actually reduces energy recovery time rather than ability cooldowns. Hitting enemies with different skills applies marks; if an enemy receives both a Crimson and Death mark, they are immobilized for 0.8 seconds.

Kairazu (1st Ability) – With this ability, Hirara uses her fan to unleash a crimson sweep, dealing Physical Damage to enemies in a fan shaped area. After a brief delay, she strikes the target location again for double the initial damage. This is her primary source of poke and mark application during the laning phase.

Infernal Torrent (Combo Ability 1) – By merging Kaerazu into Meisen-e, Hirara executes a powerful combo. She dashes in a target direction and spins, dealing significant Physical Damage. Similar to her base first skill, she deals a second instance of damage after a short delay, which is double the first hit. This is excellent for AOE damage when surrounded by multiple foes.

Meisen-e (2nd Ability) – This skill allows Hirara to dash in a target direction, dealing Physical Damage to any enemies hit along the way. She also has the option to dash a second time, which deals extra Physical Damage to surrounding enemies. This is her main tool for repositioning and chasing down low health targets.

Falling Maple (Combo Ability 2) – When you merge Meisen-e into Kaerazu, Hirara enters a defensive state. She becomes untargetable and immobilized for up to a second, an effect that can be canceled early. When the state ends, she deals heavy Physical Damage and can dash twice, dealing extra damage to enemies hit. This is an incredible outplay tool for dodging enemy ultimates.

Meisen-e (Ultimate Ability) – Hirara unleashes the full power of her twin fans, gaining a burst of movement speed that decays over a second. For the next 10 seconds, her maximum energy capacity increases from 4 to 6. Every kill or assist achieved during this period extends the ultimate duration by 4 seconds, making her a persistent threat in extended teamfights.

Hirara Release Date Expectations

Hirara is currently being tested on the Advanced Server and is slated to drop on the Original Server in June 2026, likely coinciding with the start of Season 41. As is typical with new Moonton releases, expect her to be extremely powerful upon launch. She will likely define the meta and become a priority ban in high ranked lobbies until players learn how to counter her mobility.

If she drops with overtuned stats, she will instantly become the premier Assassin for climbing the ladder. However, if her scaling is conservative, she may require a few buffs before she can truly compete with established meta picks like Ling or Gusion. Regardless, her unique dragging mechanic ensures she will be one of the most talked-about heroes of the year.

Should You Buy Hirara?

Whether or not Hirara is worth your Battle Points or Diamonds depends entirely on your playstyle. If you enjoy high-APM gameplay and the thrill of high-risk outplays, she is a must-have. However, if you prefer low-effort, chill gameplay or playing as a tanky roamer, you might find her mechanical requirements frustrating. Be honest about your own mechanical skill before committing to her, as a poorly played Hirara is often a liability to the team.

Players can enjoy playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
