Run! Goddess Team Composition Guide and Tips

In Run! Goddess, having a strong team is far more than just choosing the strongest goddess you’ve unlocked. The game’s combat system heavily emphasizes synergy, role balance, and elemental advantage. Whether you’re clearing stages, defeating world bosses, or building your own personal record runs, your team composition will be a major factor in your success. This guide will help you understand how to build the ideal squad for any challenge. Let’s begin!
How to Build a Balanced Team Composition in Run! Goddess?
First and foremost, there is no concept of the “best team” or “ideal team” in Run! Goddess. If anyone is claiming to do so, it might be because they are having success with it but you might not. It’s always best to work with the valkyries you have instead of chasing the more lucrative one’s as everything depends on luck in gacha games. For the sake of basics, we will explain what a balanced team looks like in Run! Goddess. You might be aware that each valkyrie in the game is assigned one of 3 roles – DPS, Tank, and Support. Each type of valkyrie is important as they bring different strategies into play.
Tanks are powerful Valkyries with high HP and defense numbers. They can quickly absorb damage and should be deployed on the front lines. While many of these tanks can take damage, some can also serve as auxiliary supporters, providing buffs or debuffs to allies and adversaries. DPS valkyries are known for their powerful attacks. Their primary purpose is to cause as much harm as possible in the shortest amount of time. Having at least 2 or 3 of these vakyries is ideal in any team, else they may lack adequate damage to kill several hordes of opponents.
Support type valkyries are generally used for sustaining your allies or debuffing your enemies. Many of these valkyries can heal allies, deal damage through debuffs, or paralyze opponents with their huge AOE crowd-control skills. In short, support valkyries’ powers have the potential to turn the tide of battle in your favor. A balanced team composition should like the following:
- Bring 1 tank valkyrie in the frontline as they will be your core damage absorber.
- Bring 2 DPS type valkyries and place them in the backlines to ensure they don’t get damaged too much, while can deal damage themselves. It’s always preferred to choose DPS valkyries that can deal AOE-damage as hordes of enemies generally run towards you.
- Lastly, bring 2 more Support type valkyries and place them in the middle or frontlines. These valkyries generally have enough stats to take some damage. Out of the 2 supports, make sure one is catered towards healing allies while the other is more focused towards distributing buffs to allies, or debuffs to enemies.

Best Support Valkyries in Run! Goddess
Some of the recommended support type valkyries to add to your team compositions are as follows:
- Hecate – Hecate can be a great candidate to heal allies and deal damage to enemies at the same time. Her passive states that whenever Hecate or any ally triggers Piece, Damage Reflection, or Stun, hecate gains 5 energy. After reaching 100 energy, she transforms into the Silent form for 5 seconds. While in this form, any allies cannot die.
