Sword of Justice transports you to an eastern fantasy world where martial arts are the ultimate form of combat. Players can carry out long-scale expeditions, take up quests, and compete with other players in a globalized server. Being an MMORPG, combat in Sword of Justice is action-packed and strategic at the same time. This guide sheds light on some of the core combat mechanics that shape the gameplay flow of Sword of Justice. Let’s begin!

How Combat works in Sword of Justice?

At its heart, Sword of Justice is an action MMORPG featuring an open traversable world, full of quests and mysteries yet to be undertaken, and solved. Combat is at the heart of each game mode in Sword of Justice. It is fast, thrilling, and strategic at the same time. With so many abilities and heroes available at your disposal, combat can be quite fun, especially at the higher echelons of difficulty. The combat scenarios also massively change when you play with a different class (martial school). Each class is unique and shapes the way your character performs in combat scenarios.

This fact can be noticed when using a melee-ranged class, and switching to a long-ranged class. Each class has its own pros and cons when it comes to combat. This is also partly due to the type of abilities each class possesses. Skills are at the centre of any team fight in Sword of Justice. You need to constantly switch between basic attacks, and casting spells from a distance to execute powerful combos that strike fear in the enemies heart from afar.

Understanding the Controls for Combat Sequences in Sword of Justice

The controls of Sword of Justice are quite simple to understand, especially when it comes to combat scenarios. You move the characters using a virtual movement wheel located on the left-hand side. On the right-hand side, you should see 3 big buttons – Dash, Attack, and Jump. Dashes can be used to instantly traverse a short amount of distance in the given direction. The attack button enables you to use basic attacks of your class.

The Jump button helps you cross terrains at a height by jumping swiftly in the air. It can be used in tandem with the basic attack button to execute mid-air combos. On top of these basic controls, players can also access their core abilities on top in the form of a crescent-shaped arc. These abilities can be customized and can also change depending on which class you have chosen at the start. Simply tap on them to execute the abilities. Keep in mind, active abilities have a cooldown period before they can be used again.

Role of Heroes in Combat

Heroes are also important when it comes to combat situations in Sword of Justice. This feature unlocks when you reach Level 30. Players can choose to equip which skills they want to use from their owned heroes. Each hero has usually 1 active skill, and this can be ascended to give enhanced effects. Players will need to summon the hero from the Seek system first in order to use their skills in combat. Their skills can also be upgraded along with the hero to increase attributes and utility of the skill. Heroes can be strategically combined with your class abilities to launch a power-packed flurry of attacks.

Skills and Combo Execution in Sword of Justice

Like we mentioned before, each class in Sword of Justice has their own set of unique active and passive skills. Active skills are those which go on a cooldown period after being used. Passive skills are those whose effect remains active the entire time, and you need not manually trigger them. Players can customize which active skills they want to use in the skill slots. Each character can have up to 6 active skills at a time. Players can choose their skills from the “Martial Arts” section. You can also pick up and use skills of your owned heroes.

It’s equally important to synergize your skills with the remainder of your character and team. To do so, you will need to identify the type of skills, their element, and more. There are elemental combos in Sword of Justice that can be used to your advantage if used properly. For example, if you use a freezing spell over a burning target, they will be instantly frozen due to element synergy, giving you extra time of crowd-control to ramp up damage. These elemental interactions come into bigger play when fighting world bosses and other powerful entities at the higher level.

Players can enjoy playing SWORD OF JUSTICE on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
