This guide focuses on the different PvE dungeons and open-world exploration mechanics present in the game. At first, they might not seem of much importance but the real grind and power is locked behind successfully clearing these dungeons and reaping their rewards. The goal is to help you understand which activities are most rewarding and how to approach them efficiently.

Secret Realms Dungeon

Secret Realms are one of the most important PvE activities in the game. Each floor presents tougher enemies and rewards you with skill books, Willpower, accessories, and special upgrade items. After clearing a floor, a chest will appear. You can open it at the cost of Vigor. Opening chests grants you valuable loot and also contributes toward character experience similar to completing Bounties.

You can choose which floors to spend Vigor on. Floors eight and above tend to offer better reward value, so it is often best to save your openings for these stages. If your team is strong, pushing beyond floor ten can reward Underworld Sand which can be exchanged for a special mount. Some Secret Realms are more efficient to run than others. Cloudrise Crisis and Qingming River Raid are generally seen as the best choices.

Mystic Vault Dungeon and Rewards

The Mystic Vault provides weekly equipment based on what activities you complete. You only need to finish any two of the listed unlock conditions to claim all the rewards. The system automatically adjusts your final reward tier based on your best performance that week. Even if you improve later in the week, the Vault will calculate your highest progress when rewards distribute on Monday. Clearing Floor 10 in the Secret Realm and reaching Legendary rank in Leisure activities is usually the easiest path to maximum weekly rewards. If you simply play consistently, you will unlock these rewards naturally.

Tales of the Martial World Dungeon

These dungeons unlock at level thirty and can be completed once per day. If you miss a day, the attempt stacks up to three total runs. You can run them solo or in a group. Solo offers private loot while group play grants both personal and shared rewards. Each dungeon offers a chance to receive weapons, armor crafting materials, internal skills, and special rewards for your first completion. If you clear a dungeon sixty times, you earn a cosmetic appearance from that location. Further sets of sixty clears may unlock appearances from other dungeons. You can track progress directly in the dungeon menu.

Exploration and Free Roam Mechanics in Sword of Justice

Exploration in Sword of Justice is not simply sightseeing. Many of your long-term growth rewards come from interacting with the world.

Region Exploration

Each region contains unique collectible items called Specialties. These items can be exchanged for recipes, housing furniture, cosmetics, and even stat boosting upgrades. Exploration progress also increases your character’s overall strength through attribute bonuses.

Wild Bosses

Wild Bosses spawn at fixed locations and can be engaged by anyone nearby. These bosses often draw multiple players and guild groups. Participating grants materials, Willpower items, and sometimes rare crafting ingredients. Even if you are not the strongest in the fight, contributing damage ensures you receive rewards.

Terrain Exploration

Movement plays a big role in exploration. Windstride allows fast travel between discovered points. Starpull lets you quickly reposition in mid-air. Climbing surfaces, gliding across valleys, and using movement paths allow you to access hidden chests, rare materials, and story fragments.
