TMNT Shredder's Revenge Trophy Guide and How to Unlock them

Earning the Platinum trophy or hitting that 100% completion mark in TMNT Shredder’s Revenge is a nostalgic trip that requires a mix of platforming precision, combat mastery, and a bit of patience. While many of the trophies will pop naturally as you brawl through the streets of New York, a few specific challenges require a dedicated strategy. This guide breaks down the most difficult milestones and provides a roadmap to help you clear your trophy list with efficiency.
How to Get All Trophies in TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge?
To claim every trophy, you should expect to play through the game at least twice. Your first run should be in Story Mode. This is where you will handle the bulk of your exploration, find all the hidden collectibles, and complete the NPC side quests. Story Mode allows you to level up your characters, making the final bosses much easier to manage.
Your second major task is completing Arcade Mode. This is a more traditional experience where your lives are limited and your power levels are set. Once the story and arcade runs are finished, you will spend your remaining time cleaning up specific combat feats and grinding your favorite characters to the maximum level.
Story Mode and Exploration Trophies
The bulk of your initial trophies come from clearing stages and finding secrets. A good example is the trophy for completing all of the special requests. Across the 16 episodes, you need to find items like classic headlines, secret diaries, and disgusting bugs. These are always hidden inside breakable background objects. If you see a trash can, a newsstand, or a crate, break it.
Turning these items into NPCs like Burne, Vernon, and Irma on the world map doesn’t just give you a trophy; it also provides massive XP boosts. This is essential for the No Need for Mutagen! trophy, which requires you to bring every single character to Power Level 10. To speed this up, remember that you can sign in extra controllers when turning in a quest to spread that XP across multiple turtles at once.
Combat and Skill-based Trophies
Some trophies focus on your ability to use the game’s deep combat mechanics. One of the most satisfying is the trophy for performing a string of at least 250 hits. To achieve this, head to a stage with high enemy density like Episode 6. Use characters with fast, multi-hit attacks like Michelangelo or April. The key is to keep moving and use your taunts to keep your special meter full. If you hit a group of enemies with a Super Attack, your combo meter will skyrocket.
Another tricky one is the requirement to defeat a boss using a Super Attack. This simply requires timing. Get the boss’s health down to a tiny sliver, then unleash your character’s special move to finish them off. If you are playing in a group, make sure your friends let you take the final shot.
The Who Needs A Dock? trophy is a bit more specific. You need to defeat the Rat King without falling into any of the pits or getting hit by his traps. This is best done on a lower difficulty setting. Focus entirely on defense, only attacking when the Rat King is vulnerable between his charges. Patience is more important than speed for this one.
The Gnarly Difficulty and Arcade Mode Trophies and Challenges
Arcade Mode presents its own set of challenges. The trophy for completing Arcade Mode on Gnarly difficulty is often considered the hardest in the game. On Gnarly, enemies hit harder and are much more aggressive. For this run, Donatello is a top-tier choice because his long-range bo staff allows you to stay safe. Alternatively, using Casey Jones provides a great balance of power and reach.
If you are struggling with a solo Gnarly run, go online. Shredder’s Revenge supports up to six players, and having a full squad makes the difficulty much more manageable. When players work together to share health via the high-five mechanic and coordinate their Super Attacks, even the toughest bosses fall quickly. Just remember that the trophy only triggers if you are present for the entire run.
Other Specific Trophies
As you get closer to the end of your list, you will likely have a few odd trophies left. One requires you to throw ten enemies into the screen. This is done by grabbing an enemy and holding Down on the joystick while pressing the attack button. Episode 1 is the easiest place to do this, as the Foot Clan ninjas there are very weak and easy to grab.
The Cowabunga It Is! trophy is another favorite, requiring you to perform a certain number of consecutive dive attacks without touching the ground. You can bounce off the heads of enemies by pressing Jump and then the Attack button while in the air. Find a large group of enemies and keep bouncing. It feels a bit like playing a game of The Floor Is Lava, but with ninjas.
All Character Level 10 Trophies
The longest part of the journey is undoubtedly getting all seven base characters to Level 10. Each character needs 2,000 points. If you have finished the story and found all collectibles, you will likely have several characters at Level 6 or 7. To finish the job, replay Episode 6 or Episode 10 repeatedly. These levels have a great balance of length and enemy count.
If you own the Dimension Shellshock DLC, Survival Mode is an excellent alternative for grinding. While the leveling system there is slightly different, the practice you get and the rewards you earn make the repetition feel much less tedious. Plus, you get to listen to more of that incredible soundtrack.
Players can enjoy playing TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
