The developers of Garena Free Fire recently announced a collaboration with the popular Brazilian singer Larissa de Macedo Machado, widely known by her stage name, Anitta. The collaboration will feature new events, rewards, collectibles, an exclusive song, and, you guessed it, a brand new character based on the Brazilian artist.

Anitta is well known for hit songs like Envolver, Bola Rebola, Vai Malandra, and Show das Poderosas to name a few. Apart from Free Fire, Anitta herself has collaborated with many famous artists like Cardi B, Myke Towers, J Balvin, Major Lazer, Pabllo Vittar, Greeicy, Becky G, and MC Zaac among others.

The Free Fire x Anitta collaboration event is expected to drop alongside or after the upcoming OB34 update on May 25th. The first glimpse of the new collab character was shared through this post from the Garena Free Fire Brazilian Instagram account, stating:

“The most downloaded mobile game in the world in 2021 has joined TOP 1 Global in a partnership that will involve you! Free Fire x Anitta arrives with events full of news! Keep an eye on the Frifas and A Patroa networks for more details on the partnership soon.”

In the post, the new character is called “A Patroa,” which roughly translates to “The Mistress”. And as per the new leaks, The Mistress features the ability to create a 5m diameter frontal pulse blast that can reduce movement speed by 1% and fire rate by 2% with a cooldown of under 4s.

That’s all we know about the new Mistress character, as no official data has been released by the Free Fire team. So, it seems we will have to wait until the OB34 update or a patch note for a detailed breakdown.
