The game’s X (formerly Twitter) account has officially announced Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.4 “Jolted Awake From a Winter Dream” Special Program, which is a livestream event where new content like characters, in-game events, rewards, skins, and new quests are unveiled to eager players.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.4 – What We Know So Far

Honkai: Star Rail’s X account announced that the livestream will take place on September 29, 2023 at 19:30 (UTC+8) via YouTube. Commenting, retweeting, and discussing the new content you’re anticipating alongside your in-game ID puts you into a random draw. 50 participants will be randomly picked to receive 10 Star Rail passes. The draw will end on September 29, 2023 at 19:00 (UTC+8). Note that the rewards will be split across social media accounts for all languages. Winners will be announced 10 business days after the end of the livestream event.

New Character Banners

The upcoming 1.4 update will bring three new characters: Jingliu, Topaz, and Guinaifen. Leaks have reported that Jingliu will be released in the first half of the update whereas Topaz and Guinaifen will be released in the second half. Here is some basic information about the new characters.

Interestingly, Jingliu is voiced by YouTube singer Amanda Lee, also known as LeeandLie. Jingliu and Topaz will reportedly have their own abilities whereas Guinaifen’s abilities will focus more on damage over time (DoT).

New Skins

According to Honkai: Star Rail leaker @dimbreath (https://twitter.com/dimbreath) , the 1.4 update will release a skin for the character March 7th. Specific details about what exactly the skin will look like, let alone if the skin will even be for March 7th remain unknown. Because this is a leak, this should be taken with grain of salt.

New Map – Belobog

The 1.4 update will bring a new map into the game called Belobog. Leaks report that the new update will be focused on this new region and that there will be two maps within Belobog, specifically in Jarilo-VI. Topaz will also reportedly be introduced in Belobog.

Redeem Codes

Honkai: Star Rail livestreams traditionally show redeem codes that players can enter to redeem rewards. It is expected that the 1.4 livestream event will have more codes to share to its players.
