MARVEL Strike Force, the card-battler RPG by Scopely is having quite the success with its recent update titled “6.7.0”. The newest update for the game has brought with it a ton of new stuff! The highlights for the update are going to be the 4 brand-new Villain heroes released – Apocalypse, Kang the Conqueror, Absorbing Man, and Moonstone. A ton of balance adjustments can also be seen in a large roster of champions.

Apocalypse

Apocalypse is a legendary grade character from the Villain Mutant faction that is listed as a Support type in-game.

Let’s take a look at Apocalypse’s abilities in detail:

The Alpha (Basic Skill) – Gain Offense Up and Speed Up.

Heal for 5% of this character’s Max Health.

Attack primary target for 400% damage + 100% Drain.

This attack is Unavoidable and cannot be blocked.

Seismic Sands (Special Skill) – Attack primary target for 350% Piercing + 100% Drain + apply +1 Ability Block, up to a maximum of 2.

Attack all adjacent targets for 350% Piercing + 100% Drain. Redistribute your total squad health evenly.

Do the following for this character, all HORSEMAN allies, and 2 non-HORSEMAN allies with the highest Damage:

  • Clear all negative effects.
  • Apply +1 Defense Up, up to a maximum of 2.
  • Apply Safeguard and Immunity.

This attack ignores Defense Up.

The End Is Here (Ultimate Skill) – Clear Barrier on all enemies.

Attack all enemies for 500% damage + 100% Drain.

Flip Defense Up on all enemies. Flip 2 random positive effects into negative effects on all enemies. Apply Trauma to all enemies. Become Empowered. 

On Empowered, fill Speed Bar for self by 60% + 10%for each HORSEMAN ally. This attack is unavoidable and cannot be Blocked or counterattacked.

The First Mutant (Passive Skill) – This character cannot be revived.

The Speed of this character and each HORSEMAN ally can only be reduced by Slow.

At the start of any match, enemy characters cannot spawn with Safeguard.

On Spawn, gain Immunity.

On Stun, clear Stun and Heal Block, then Heal for 20% of this character’s Max Health.

Gain +50% Max Health.

Gain +40% chance to Counterattack + 15% for each VILLAIN ally.

Gain +10% Focus for each HORSEMAN, MUTANT, and TECH ally.

Moonstone

Moonstone is a legendary grade character from the Villain Masters of Evil faction that is listed as a Controller type in-game.

Spiteful Strike (Basic Skill) – Attack primary target for 300% damage + apply Defense Down for 2 turns.

If the target is Vulnerable, gain 1 Ability Energy.

Dark Whispers (Special Skill) – Reduce Speed Bar of the enemy with the highest Damage, excluding the primary target, by 20% + Mind Control that enemy to attack the primary target.

Attack primary target for 400% damage + apply Defense Down and Stun.

In CRUCIBLE, apply Disrupted and Trauma to the primary target.

Phasing Punishment (Ultimate Skill) – Attack primary and adjacent targets for 250% damage + apply +2 Defense Down, up to a maximum of 3.

Kang the Conqueror

Kang the Conqueror is a legendary grade character from the Villain Cosmic faction that is listed as a Blaster type in-game.

Let’s take a look at Kang the Conqueror’s abilities in detail:

Temporal Blow (Basic Skill) – Attack primary target for 360% Piercing.

If the target is Vulnerable, fill this character’s Speed Bar by 20%.

This attack ignores Defense Up and cannot be counterattacked.

Foreseen Strikes (Special Skill) – On CRUCIBLE OFFENSE, clear all Barrier on primary and adjacent targets.

Attack primary and adjacent targets for 420% Piercing.

Gain 1 Evade per Crit.

In CRUCIBLE:

  • Apply Slow for 2 turns to primary and adjacent targets.
  • Apply +2 Offense Up to self and all MASTERS OF EVIL allies.

Gain +20% Crit Chance for self and all MASTERS OF EVIL allies.

Gain +40% Crit Damage. MASTERS OF EVIL allies gain +10% Crit Damage.

In CRUCIBLE, gain +20% Crit Chance and +10% Crit Damage for self or any MASTERS OF EVIL ally with Offense Up.

On CRUCIBLE OFFENSE:

  • On Spawn, apply Speed Up for 2 turns to self and all MASTERS OF EVIL allies.

Brick Bash (Basic Skill) – Attack primary target for 360% damage + copy and clear 2 positive effects, excluding Stealth and Taunt, from the primary target to self.

If the primary target has Vulnerable, gain +2 Deflect, up to a max of 5.

Wrecking Ball (Special Skill) – Copy and clear all negative effects from all MASTERS OF EVIL allies to self.

Flip all negative effects to positive effects on self.

Apply Offense Down for 2 turns to the primary target.

Attack primary and adjacent targets for 400% damage.

Clear Taunt from all allies.

Gain Taunt. In CRUCIBLE, gain Taunt for 2 turns instead.

Diamond in the Rough (Ultimate Skill) – Clear all negative effects from self.

  • In RAIDS, on Kill, prolong the duration of all positive effects on self and all DEATH SEED allies by +1, up to a maximum of 2.
  • In ARENA, on Kill, prolong the duration of all positive effects on self, Apocalypse, and all HORSEMAN allies by +1, up to a maximum of 2.

  • Summon 3 Ultron Minions at 340% normal damage and 100% of normal Health. Apply Defense Up to self and all MASTERS OF EVIL allies for 2 turns.
