Identity V, also called Fifth Personality, is an asymmetric 1v4 hide-and-seek horror with a moody Gothic style. Matches unfold in a crooked old manor and other gloomy maps. The setup is simple enough: four survivors rush to decode five cipher machines and open the exit, while one hunter tracks them down to knock them out and strap them to a rocket chair. The moment the hunter gets close, that heartbeat sound kicks in and the whole round turns into a tense chase with windows, pallets, and character tricks. Every survivor and hunter has different skills and items, so each match becomes a little mind game of fakeouts, rescues, and pathing. There is a detective framing too, with Orpheus investigating a missing persons case, which drops bits of story between matches and gives the weird manor some context.
The art is the eye-catcher here: foggy woods, creaky carnival sets, puppet-like faces, lots of black and white with odd bursts of color. It is eerie more than gory, and it sticks in the head. There is a chunky roster to learn, and the balance shifts as players figure out routes and timing, so it rewards practice without feeling unfair. On PC through BlueStacks, keyboard and mouse make kiting and camera control smoother, and steady frames help during tight loops. Good for anyone who enjoys team coordination and cat-and-mouse pressure, but it works fine solo too since quick chat and pings cover the basics. Rounds are short enough for a break, yet intense enough that hands may shake a bit after a close gate escape.
