Multitask effortlessly on your PC or Mac as you try out Rogervoice Phone Call Captions, a Communication app by Rogervoice on BlueStacks.
About the App
Rogervoice Phone Call Captions makes phone calls readable in real time so you never miss what’s being said. Built for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, it lets you place and receive calls while following every word on screen. It’s from Rogervoice in the Communication category, and it works great on your phone—and even on BlueStacks if you prefer a bigger screen or a real keyboard.
App Features
- Live captions, instantly: See what the other person says as text on your screen, in real time, during any call.
- Keep your number: Use the number you already have—no complicated setup. Incoming calls route through the app so captions start right away.
- Private by design: Captions are created by speech recognition, not a human relay operator. Audio isn’t stored, and transcripts stay on your device with secure connections.
- FCC-certified and free for eligible users: If you have hearing loss and qualify in the United States, captioned calling is provided at no cost through a federally funded relay program.
- Visual voicemail: Missed a call? Read the voicemail transcription and decide when (or whether) to call back.
- Two-sided captions: Friends and family can install the app, too. With app-to-app calls, they’ll see what they say and know you’re getting every word.
- E911 support (US only): Make emergency calls with captions. Optional location sharing helps responders find you faster. Outside the US, use your carrier’s native dialer for emergencies.
- Comfortable reading: Choose high contrast, dark or light themes, color-friendly options, and extra-large fonts to suit your eyes.
- Quick replies your way: Type to talk or speak naturally—text-to-speech and speech-to-text are both built in, plus multiple voice profiles.
- Multilingual captions: Call abroad or speak other languages—captions support 100+ languages.
- Call history and search: Find past calls and scroll through captions when you need to check details.
- Requirements and registration: You’ll need a mobile number and a data connection (Wi-Fi or cellular). To enable free captioned calling in the US, you’ll be asked for your Social Security Number and address to register with the FCC.
- Legal note: U.S. federal law allows captioning only for registered users with hearing loss. The cost of caption minutes is covered by a federally administered fund.
- Nice on a computer: Prefer a larger view or full keyboard? Running the app on BlueStacks can make reading and typing responses extra comfortable.
BlueStacks brings your apps to life on a bigger screen—seamless and straightforward.
