Canon Camera Connect is a user-friendly mobile application designed to allow you to transfer your photographs taken with your Canon camera to your smartphone or tablet.


You can connect to your camera via Wi-Fi, whether through direct connection or via a wireless router, to access a range of features including remote shooting with live view imaging, transferring and saving images from your camera to your mobile device, and connecting with Canon’s various services.


For compatible cameras, this app also allows you to acquire location information from your smartphone and add it to your camera images. You can switch to a Wi-Fi connection from pairing status with a Bluetooth-enabled camera, or from touch operation with an NFC-enabled camera. Additionally, with a Bluetooth connection, you can remotely release the camera shutter, transfer the latest firmware, and more.


It’s worth noting that the Bluetooth function requires your camera to have Bluetooth capabilities, and your Android device must have Bluetooth 4.0 or later (supporting Bluetooth Low Energy technology).
