Swimming Pool Race: 3D Swimming actually does a nice job of making you feel like you’re in one of those intense pool races, complete with all the different strokes you’d see in a real swim meet. There’s backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, freestyle—pretty much everything, and they let you pick which event you like best. The controls are simple; it’s just about tapping at the right time to keep your swimmer going fast, and working out the best times to boost or turn. It’s fun seeing how fast you can get your swimmer to go, especially when you’re racing against all sorts of other swimmers who are all super competitive.
You can pick from a bunch of countries too—even some you might not expect—and then choose your athlete. There’s a bit of sports rival spirit there, pushing you to top the leaderboards or grab a gold medal for your country. Different swimsuits unlock as you go, and there are relays and lots of distances, so it’s not the same thing in every race. The game is actually pretty smooth running on PC through BlueStacks, and the 3D pool looks bright and fresh, which just makes the races more engaging. Anyone who likes competitive sports games or just wants something a little different from the usual running or soccer ones would probably get hooked trying to master all the swimming techniques and stack up some wins.
