Multitask effortlessly on your PC or Mac as you try out Freeje Optimum – Virtual number, a Tools app by FreeJe on BlueStacks.
Freeje Optimum feels like turning a phone into a small call center, but without the messy setup. On a PC with BlueStacks it is surprisingly tidy to juggle several lines, read long SMS threads, and type replies with a keyboard. The app lets someone pick up extra numbers from a bunch of countries, choose landline, mobile, or even toll free, then keep them all on one device. Switching between lines is quick, and yes, the calls sound clean, not tin-can weird. If someone needs a second line to keep personal stuff separate from clients, this does that well.
Billing is pay as you go, so there are no long contracts waiting to trip anyone up. Outbound calls and texts tick along per second or per minute at low rates, and renting a foreign number is only a few dollars a month, so testing a new market does not feel risky. Call forwarding works to a normal phone, a SIP app, or a softphone, and there is a virtual fax number option too for the few places that still ask for one. Encryption is built in, and the coverage includes some less common regions, which stands out. On desktop through BlueStacks, handling multiple conversations and forwarding rules while working in other windows is just easier.
A few heads-ups are worth knowing. Emergency calls like 911 are not supported. Outgoing caller ID is not provided. There are no free trial numbers for receiving SMS, and messages to shortcodes or certain services may not always go through.
Big screen. Bigger performance. Use BlueStacks on your PC or Mac to run your favorite apps.
