Upgrade your experience. Try Planning crane maneuver, the fantastic Tools app from Roberto Padrón Hernández, from the comfort of your laptop, PC, or Mac, only on BlueStacks.
About the App
Planning crane maneuver is a practical tool for figuring out how to set up and swing a crane when space is tight and obstacles are all around. Built by Roberto Padrón Hernández, this Tools app lets you test different positions, simulate movements, and check clearances before you’re on site. Prefer working on a bigger screen? It also runs nicely with BlueStacks.
App Features
-
Crane library and quick setup: Pick the manufacturer and specific crane model you’re using, then jump straight into planning with views that match real jobsite challenges.
-
Side view clearances: See how much room you’ve got between the turntable and the nearest obstacle. Color-coded guides help you track the load line and simulate boom luffing to spot conflicts early.
-
Top-down (plan) view: Lay out the site from above to visualize the boom radius, load position, and the path of the swing. Simulate slewing to check whether the counterweight or cab might clip a wall, building, or other barrier.
-
Editable site dimensions: Adjust the numbers that matter—obstacle height, distance from the crane’s axis to obstacles, longitudinal offsets, and spacing from obstacle faces to the load—so the model matches reality.
-
Full movement simulation: Try the boom and swing motions end to end to see how the crane behaves throughout the lift, not just at pick or set.
-
Clash and sweep checks: Instantly spot where rotation or reach could be blocked, helping you decide whether to reposition, trim the radius, or choose a different setup.
-
Compare models for the job: Switch between crane makes and models to find a configuration that fits the site constraints without guesswork.
