Abyss: Chosen Heirs is a dark fantasy MMORPG that immerses players in a world overrun by demons and despair. As a chosen heir, your mission is to reclaim the light by harnessing the power of the legendary Cube of Origins. Powered by Unreal Engine 5, the game offers breathtaking visuals and fluid combat, delivering an immersive experience where your destiny shapes the world’s fate. Further, the game offers players a variety of classes to choose from; be it a greatsword-wielding warrior, elemental mage, or stealthy assassin. In this guide, we will be explaining about all the different available classes and their pros/cons.
All Classes in Abyss: Chosen Heirs
In Abyss: Chosen Heirs, classes play an important role in your entire journey. The first decision that a player has to make when they create an account is to choose a class. Keep in mind, this decision will impact your account as this decision is irreversible. Players cannot change their class once chosen. There are a total of 5 different classes, each with their own unique active and passive abilities. Each class has their own pros/cons, and players can consider them like a separate character altogether. Check out all the classes available at the time of global launch:
- Snow Queen – Harness the power of nature, controlling sweeping power.
- Onmyouji – Instinct through yin and yang, perceive the balance of reincarnation.
- Monkey King – Monkey King of the eastern state, possessing incredible power.
- Dragon Maid – Descendants of the ancient dragon, guard of the world.
- Assassin – Move like the wind, and kill like a ghost.
Snow Queen
The Snow Queen is a long-ranged DPS class in Abyss: Chosen Heirs. The snow queen is adept at dealing damage to large groups of enemies, thanks to their multiple strong AOE-targeted abilities. If you’re looking to play a character that can clear waves of enemies instantly, this class choice is perfect.
It is highly mobile and agile, making them easy to manoeuvre on the battlefield. Their playstyle is more oriented towards dealing as much DPS as possible and inflicting some crowd-control effects. Sadly, these characters have low health and defensive capabilities, making them vulnerable to assassination attempts.
Onmyouji
The Onmyouji is a long-ranged DPS class in Abyss: Chosen Heirs. Consider them like mages in other similar MMOs. They have access to both single target and AOE-targeted abilities, making them a great addition to any squad. They can provide amazing crowd-control and utility in both PvE and PvP game modes.
All of their abilities have shorter cooldowns than other classes, as they rely on them to deal damage and crowd control. Sadly, they have low mobility and defense, much like the Snow Queen, making them vulnerable to getting taken out early on in battles.
Monkey King
The Monkey King is a melee-ranged Burst damage class in Abyss: Chosen Heirs. This class has one of the highest DPS potentials out of any other class, thanks to their extremely high base attack. Monkey Kings have access to both single targeted and AOE-targeted abilities. Their core ability rotation is also longer than other classes, making them deal more damage.
Plus, this character also has very high defense, helping them withstand long battles. However, they are not as mobile and agile as other classes, and being a melee character, this hampers their targeting capabilities.
Dragon Maid
The Dragon Maid is a melee-ranged Charge class in Abyss: Chosen Heirs. The dragon maid possesses only single-targeted spells and attacks but can target multiple enemies with their abilities. They are melee-ranged, and have very high defense, making them an ideal tank for the team. Dragon Maids can also sustain themselves quite well, making them a good class choice for beginners. Sadly, do not expect to deal massive damage when picking up this class as they were not built for DPS.
Assassin
The Assassin is a melee-ranged DPS class in Abyss: Chosen Heirs. Much like the name itself suggests, Assassins are stealthy burst damage dealers that can take out weak members of the enemy team in the blink of an eye. They have super fast combos that need to be executed instantaneously, making their skill ceiling quite high. While they are not recommended for beginners, they can be quite useful in the hands of a veteran.
Players can enjoy playing Abyss: Chosen Heirs on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
