Tip #1. Follow the Main Storyline Quests!

In Crystal of Atlan, the main story quests are the most important type of quests to complete, especially for a beginner. These quests are not only important to progress and unlock new game modes but they also give you tons of experience to level up your account. Also, each main quest gives out generous amounts of resources as rewards that can certainly help to power up your character.

These quests are located on the top left-hand side of the main menu. Players can simply click on them and a guiding path will illuminate, showing them where they have to go. Sadly, features like auto-travel are not yet available in the game, so you have to manually traverse to the questing location.

Tip #2. Dodge Enemy Attacks and Skills!

The combat system of Crystal of Atlan is quite skill oriented and players can show their dominance on the battlefield clearly. The difference between a new player and veteran can be seen instantly as the game rewards when you play with the right mechanics. Using Extreme Dodge at the right time can be greatly beneficial for you. For those unaware, the extreme dodge is a chargeable active skill that allows your character to dash in a specific direction. When using it at the last moment before an enemy hit or projectile lands on you, your resonance meter will greatly increase. This will allow you to go into the Resonance state much faster, empowering your damage output.

Tip #3. Assign Skill Points Judiciously

In Crystal of Atlan, skill points are the core currency that is used to upgrade skills. Keep in mind, only skills that have been unlocked can be upgraded via skill points. Skills automatically unlock when your character level increases. This skill point assignment is very important as your ability damage, and utility output can greatly increase when you enhance them. However, do not just upgrade any skill. Make this decision carefully by reading up the different skills, and upgrading those that you like using on the battlefield. The good part is that there is a “Reset” function available, using which players can instantly get all of their invested skill points back.

Tip #4. Equip and Upgrade Strong Gear!

One of the more important growth processes that you can engage with is the gearing process. It is a great and instantaneous way of giving your character more stats, thereby increasing their overall combat power (CP). Each character, regardless of the class you have chosen, can be equipped with 12 slots of gear. Some slots are unlocked from early on, while others are unlocked when you reach certain level milestones.

Players can have separate gear setups for both PvE and PvP game modes. Gear comes in different rarities and tiers, with the higher one’s providing more stats than the lower one’s. Make sure to keep enhancing useful gear pieces, and dismantling the useless ones for increased stat growth, and better economy management.

Tip #5. Complete the Adventure Mode for Generous Rewards!

The adventure mode is quite important to progress as a new player since the game values your progression in it the most. It is the premier PvE game mode wherein players can clear out waves of enemies that eventually culminate with a boss fight. Players can get amazing gear from defeating bosses, and also other important resources such as gold and experience. As you complete more adventure mode chapters, your progression in the mode increases, and you will be eligible for more premium rewards such as S-rank pets, summoning tickets, and more.
