• Solar – Solar energy related to combustion, heat, nuclear fusion, and healing. To master it is to understand the star’s duality, for the forces we use to scorch are the same we harness to heal.
• Void – Void is the element of cosmic distortion. It is the pull of gravity and the promise of entropy.

Each character in Destiny: Rising is further classified based on the role they play in the team. By roles, we don’t mean traditional MMO roles such as Marksmen, Mage, or Tank but a more generalized role. In Destiny: Rising, the roles are as follows

• Offense – A formidable powerhouse capable of inflicting devastating damage to their enemies.
• Defense – A resilient survivalist capable of countering relentless attacks and harsh combat environments.
• Support – A force enhancer capable of offering extensive combat improvements to their allies through exceptional buffs or healing effects .

• Jolder (Void Defense) – Her relic ability “Barrier of Starlight” states that Jolder creates a spherical shield that can block enemy projectiles and provide a powerful Overshield to protect allies within.

• Xuan Wei (Arc Offense) – His relic ability “Juggernaut’s Dominance” states that Xuan Wei embodies a domineering divine beast, using peerless claws to strike and Knockback combatants in front of him.
• Wolf (Solar Offense) – His relic ability “Wolf’s Butchery” states that during Super, Wolf launches a series of Solar attacks and increases damage dealt by attacking the same combatant consecutively. While in use, Wolf gains max Lupine Nature and grants nearby allies Wolf’s Dash.
• Attal (Arc Support) – Her relic ability “Song of Faith” states that Attal enters her Super, during which She can fire bird-shaped Arc projectiles at combatants.
• Finnala (Solar Defense) – Her relic ability “Reaper’s Descent” states that Finnala enters her Super state, During it, she can perform a sustained spinning attack and inflict Scorched, and her attacks generate 100% more enmity.
