Lootfiend:Idle Dungeons is an Idle RPG that combines dungeon crawling mechanics with actionized gameplay. The equipment system of the game is quite the highlight as it enables you to get exponentially stronger. While the gameplay itself is simple to understand, the gearing mechanics can be a bit profound. Don’t worry, as this equipment guide will serve you with all the knowledge you need to know to improve your combat power (CP). Let’s begin!

What is Equipment in Lootfiend:Idle Dungeons?

Equipment refers to the gear items in Lootfiend:Idle Dungeons. These items impart essential stats to your character and directly help in increasing your account’s combat power (CP). A higher CP often means an increased attack, health, and defense. Thereby, an account with optimized gear will perform better in the long run. As a beginner, you must focus on improving it constantly. Now, before we begin describing the equipment system in detail, we want to clear out some basics. Your character can have a total of 13 different pieces of equipment. Each piece of gear goes into a certain place in your gear slot. This gear slot can be seen at the bottom of your screen.

How to get more Equipment in Lootfiend:Idle Dungeons?

It’s pretty easy to acquire gear in Lootfiend:Idle Dungeons. The equipment system entails that each time you kill an enemy, you get some experience. This experience can be seen at the middle right-hand side, represented by a blue colored bar jar that fills automatically. Each time this jar gets full once, a piece of equipment is guaranteed to drop from it. Each gear piece comes in differing rarities, with the higher rarities offering more unique abilities and higher stats. Players can increase their chance of getting good quality gear pieces by improving the Blessing level of their account.

Blessing Level and Rarities of Gear Explained

Like we mentioned before, your blessing level is tied to how good gear you can get from the equipment jar. There is a total of 9 different rarities for gear pieces, listed in this ascending order:

  • Crude
  • Common
  • Fine
  • Rare
  • Epic
  • Fabled
  • Mythic
  • Flawless
  • Gloam

The higher the rarity of the gear piece, the stronger it is usually considered. Higher-tier gear also has more base stats, and thus, offers more CP towards the account. Still, sometimes a lower-tier gear piece can be better if it has a passive that is suited more towards your character’s build and playstyle. Be mindful to turn off auto-salvage once you reach a decent blessing level. To increase your blessing level, some missions need to be completed.

These can be pertaining to your account level, skill level, monster slaying, etc. After completing these missions, you can advance to the next blessing level post waiting some time as it gets researched. You can reduce these research timers by using speed-ups given as part of missions, quests, events, login rewards, and more. A higher blessing level increases your chances of getting better rarities of equipment pieces. You can see this improvement in real-time!

Equipment Stats and Sub-stats

Each piece of equipment comes with a main-stat which remains fixed. After common rarity, gear pieces also start coming with sub-stats, up to a maximum of 4. Epic and above rarity gear pieces then start coming with unique passive abilities that remain active throughout the duration of battles. A good combination of main stats, substats, and passives can make or break any account in Lootfiend:Idle Dungeons. Hence, be mindful of what upgrades you undertake and which gear piece you salvage.

Players can enjoy playing Lootfiend:Idle Dungeons on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
