Lumi Master launched worldwide on September 17, 2026 with more than 250 Lumis to catch, and very few of them are worth your Evolution Fruit and Starcores. This Lumi Master tier list ranks the best Lumis in the current launch meta, focusing on what each one actually does in Arena and story battles, so you know exactly who to raise first.

TIER LUMIS
S Tier Meteofly, Gambir, Charigon, Floragon, Rainbowdeer, Zaphound
A Tier Clionia, Thornbloom, Stellalibra, Muskyx, Jolkat
B Tier Flamblades, Jellistel, Unicorn

S Tier Lumis

Let’s take a look at all of the lumis in this tier:

Meteofly

Meteofly is a Psychic and Flying Lumi built around falling asleep on purpose. The moment it enters battle, its Star Wish trait hits the enemy and puts Meteofly to sleep, and it recovers 20% of its HP when it wakes up. Its signature skill, Starchaser, then grants two stages of Attack and two stages of Defense if Meteofly is asleep, and wakes it up. Every nap turns into a big stat boost, backed by an Attack stat that reaches 108.

blog-image-LumiMaster_Article_TierList_EN02

It also brings great switching tools like Baton Pass, which hands its stat boosts to the next Lumi, and Storm Strike, which resets your switch cooldown. The downside is the grind. Meteofly only evolves from Flufferfly at Lv. 50, and it cannot be caught in the wild at launch, so it comes from eggs or the shop.

Gambir

Gambir is a Flying Lumi that rewards players who switch often. Its trait lowers the Energy cost of its first skill each time it enters battle, up to 4 Energy cheaper once it has entered enough times. Pair that with Primed, which always lands a critical hit when used as the first skill after entering, and every return becomes a cheap guaranteed crit. Its signature skill also deals more damage the healthier the enemy is, up to double damage against a full HP target, which makes it a strong opener.

blog-image-LumiMaster_Article_TierList_EN03

Gambir has no healing and no hard control, so the rest of the team has to cover that. It evolves from Pokerfowl at Lv. 35, but only male Pokerfowl become Gambir, while females become Pincock. It is also a core part of the game’s own Storm lineup with Regaffin and Charigon.

Charigon

Charigon is the hardest hitting Fire pick in the current meta. As soon as it enters, its trait lowers the enemy’s Defense by 2 stages, and its Dragon attacks gain extra penetration for every Defense stage the target has lost. With 110 Attack behind it, Charigon lands a massive hit almost every time it steps onto the field.

The weakness is survival. Charigon has only 86 HP and takes double damage from five types, including Ice, Dragon, Fairy, Ground, and Royal. The best way to play it is hit hard and switch out before the enemy can punish it. Like Meteofly, it is obtained from eggs or the shop instead of being caught.

Floragon

Floragon is a Grass and Dragon Lumi that anchors the trap teams in the Arena. While it is on the field, every enemy that enters battle picks up a stack of Leech. Its Dragon Roar skill costs only 3 Energy and forces the current enemy to swap out, dragging a fresh Lumi across your traps and into more Leech. The forced swap also wipes any stat boosts the enemy built up, which is a nightmare for setup teams.

With up to 110 HP, Floragon stays out long enough for this loop to pay off, and Leaf Storm heals your whole side based on the Leech stacks on the enemy. Keep it away from Ice, which hits it for 4x damage. The best part for free players is that its first form, Florlet, can be found in Greenwood on the Season 1 map.

Rainbowdeer

Rainbowdeer is the safest lead Lumi in the game right now. Its trait lowers the enemy’s Attack by 2 stages when it enters, and its signature skill clears its own status effects and stat drops while dealing damage. With 100 Defense and 100 HP, it rarely falls early. Healing Light restores 15% HP to your whole squad and cures Poison, and it also has an emergency skill that knocks itself out to fully heal the rest of the team.

Its Attack stops at 88, so Rainbowdeer stalls and heals while a teammate handles the damage. Its only weakness is Ground. It evolves from Trideer into Hexdeer and then Rainbowdeer, and it leads the popular Fortify Stall Arena team alongside Stellalibra and Psykat.

Zaphound

Zaphound is the finisher of every Paralysis team. Its trait paralyzes the enemy the moment it enters, and its signature skill gains 50% critical rate for every Paralysis stack on the target. Add 110 Attack and one of the fastest basic attacks in the game, and any paralyzed enemy is in serious trouble. Arc Impact gains penetration from Paralysis stacks, while Thunderclap refunds Energy based on them.

blog-image-LumiMaster_Article_TierList_EN06

The trade off is a fragile body with 86 HP and 88 Defense, so Zaphound needs to strike first. Ground is its only weakness. It evolves from Zappup at Lv. 35 and works best next to Jolkat, who sets up Paralysis for it.

A Tier Lumis

Let’s take a look at all of the Lumis in this tier:

Cilonia

Clionia is a Water and Grass sustain Lumi that gets stronger the more your team fights. Its trait gives it a stack of Wet every time another ally uses a skill. Its signature skill then turns each Wet stack into a Leech on the enemy and a small heal for your whole squad. With 100 Defense and 100 HP, it can stay out long enough to keep an entire team alive.

Some players rank Clionia in S tier, and its sustain is easily good enough for it. It sits in A here because its Attack is only 88, so it never finishes fights on its own. Pair it with a closer. It evolves from Seabud into Aequor and then Clionia, and it is weak to Flying, Ice, and Dark.

Thornbloom

Thornbloom is a Grass damage dealer that snowballs off Leech. Its Attack stage and speed are tied directly to the number of Leech stacks on the current enemy, so every Leech Seed makes it faster and stronger at the same time. Once the enemy is covered in Leech, its 110 Attack makes it one of the hardest hitters in the game.

The problem is the start of each fight. Against a fresh enemy with no Leech, Thornbloom gets no boost at all and opens slowly. It needs a Leech setter like Floragon or Clionia next to it. Flying and Ice deal double damage to it.

Stellalibra

Stellalibra is a Flying Lumi built for the Fortify Stall team in the Arena. Each time it uses Fortify, it gains a stage of Attack and Defense and banks a Star for its finisher. Its signature skill is a coin flip that triples its power on a win, which can end fights instantly once it has stacked enough boosts behind Rainbowdeer.

blog-image-LumiMaster_Article_TierList_EN07

The coin flip cuts both ways, since a bad flip heals the enemy for 30% of its HP. Skills that reset stat stages, like Cleansing Wind, also erase everything it built. Stellalibra is newer in the meta, so its placement is based mostly on its kit and could shift as more players test it.

Muskyx

Muskyx is a Dark status specialist and the final form of the Muskit line, which grows from Muskit into the ninja Mustinja and then Muskyx. Its trait adds a random extra status effect every time it applies Poison. Poison Swamp lays a 3 Energy trap that poisons every Lumi that switches in, and Entrenched gets cheaper for every different status on the target. Its signature skill also heals it based on how many status types the enemy carries.

blog-image-LumiMaster_Article_TierList_EN08

Muskyx leads the Arena trap team with Floragon, but it has no answer to healing teams, and Flying, Light, and Brawler hit it for double damage. Free players will like that Mustinja is already strong early, so this line pays off quickly.

Jolkat

Jolkat is the Energy engine of Paralysis teams. As long as it is in your squad and still standing, your side gains extra Energy every time it attacks a paralyzed target. Static Field drops a Paralysis trap on the enemy’s side for just 3 Energy, and Thunderclap refunds Energy based on Paralysis stacks, so the whole plan pays for itself.

blog-image-LumiMaster_Article_TierList_EN09

Its own damage is modest, with a signature skill that tops out at 75 power, which is why Zaphound usually takes the kills. Jolkat is one of eight forms Sharkitten can evolve into at Lv. 15, and Elemental Crystals decide which form you get. Ground is its only weakness.

B Tier Lumis

Let’s look at all of the Lumis in this tier:

Flamblades

Flamblades is the final form of the Fire starter, evolving from Flameow into Flaricat and then Flamblades, which picks up the Steel type. Its Hasty Flames trait gives it a stack of Swift every time it applies Burn, and Raid always crits when Flamblades attacks faster than its target. With a naturally quick attack speed and a couple of Swift stacks, it outpaces almost everything in the game.

blog-image-LumiMaster_Article_TierList_EN010

Flamblades needs Burn to work, so it depends on a partner like Inferaze to keep stacks on the enemy. Inside the game’s own Burn lineup with Rainbowdeer and Inferaze, it is a fun and aggressive pick for anyone who started with Flameow.

Jellistel

Jellistel is the final form of the Water starter, evolving from Jellibae into Jellibow and then Jellistel, which gains the Fairy type. Its biggest strength is that it heals itself every time it leaves the field, so it gets more value the more often you switch.

blog-image-LumiMaster_Article_TierList_EN011

It does not hit as hard as the top picks, but it is the starter with the highest ceiling and fits nicely into switch heavy teams with Gambir or Meteofly. If you are unsure which starter to raise, Jellibae has the best long term payoff.

Unicorn

Unicorn is a Fairy Lumi and the finisher of Flicker teams. In Lumi Master, every point of Energy you spend builds Flickergy, and every 30 Flickergy fires a bonus Flicker skill. Unicorn’s trait adds extra Flickergy to each of its skills, and its Rainbow Convergence skill gets 1 Energy cheaper for every Flicker skill used, dropping from 7 Energy to just 2.

Unicorn needs a team that spends Energy fast and cheaply to reach that point. The game’s own Flicker lineup pairs it with Pincock and Stealbat, and in that setup it turns into a surprisingly strong closer.

Best Starter Lumi in Lumi Master

The game lets players pick one of three starters in the Rainforest: Flameow for Fire, Jellibae for Water, and a Grass Lumi. The gap between them is small, and none of them carries a team on its own, so picking the one you like is perfectly fine. The other two can still show up later, so there is no need to restart the tutorial.

If you want the best long term value, Jellibae is the strongest choice since its final form Jellistel reaches the A to B tier range with its extra Fairy type. Evolve your starter at Lv. 15 and Lv. 35 as soon as you have the Evolution Fruit, because evolving also rerolls its rarity and gives it another shot at a better color.

Players can enjoy Lumi Master even more on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop with keyboard and mouse via BlueStacks for an elevated gameplay experience.
