Persona5: The Phantom X is an immersive mobile and PC role-playing game inspired by Atlus’ renowned Persona 5 universe. Developed by Perfect World Games and officially licensed by SEGA and Atlus, this spin-off brings the signature blend of turn-based combat, stylish visuals, and social simulation to a broader, global audience. Players can recruit exciting new characters called “Thieves” via the innate gacha system called “Contracts”. This guide will shed light on the core gacha mechanics, and explain everything there is to know about the system.

Contract System in Persona5: The Phantom X

In Persona5: The Phantom X, the gacha system is called as “Contracts”, and it unlocks fairly early on after completing the initial tutorial. This system is the primary way players can get access to new characters on their account. The system is divided into multiple summoning banners, each of which uses different types of summoning currencies to be able to summon. Characters are divided into multiple rarities, and that affects the probability of summoning them.

The rarities are as follows – 3-star, 4-star, and 5-star. The higher the rarity of the character, the stronger they are generally considered due to better base stats, and more lucrative set of abilities. Higher rarity thieves generally have the lowest probability of being summoned, and vice-versa is also true.
