A new legendary champion Mother Cybele is up for grabs in this newest fusion event of RAID: Shadow Legends. Mother Cybele is a legendary force affinity support type champion from the Knights Revenant faction that is going to be available for fusion during the traditional fusion event starting from August 5th, 2021. This will be an in-depth guide on the various ways available for players to obtain the different champions required to complete this fusion.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Mother Cybele Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Mother Cybele is a legendary grade force affinity champion from the Knights Revenant faction which is slated to be a support type unit as mentioned by Plarium. Mother Cybele is a tough champion to use in different content as her skills are very situational. She does bring different buffs like Revive on Death and Increased Defense and a new HP Swap mechanic as well. However, the cooldowns on her skills are quite long and matches usually do not last that long. Booking her also uses a lot of legendary tomes which are quite hard to obtain. However, she can be used in a speed arena defense team as a potential counter to cleave teams.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Mother Cybele Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Mother Cybele’s Fusion requires 4 new Epic Champions which are just added to the game. These champions can be summoned through shards by completing certain events/tournaments or can be fused using 4 Rare Champions. It might sound not very clear, but here is an image to make it simpler.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Mother Cybele Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

As you can see, 4 of the Rare Champions required for fusing the Epic Champions are the same. All the Rare champions can be obtained by various fusion events and tournaments. We will now list the various events and tournaments through which you will be able to obtain these champions. Keep in mind that these events and tournaments will take a lot of your time if you’re going to manually play the game since Plarium only provides 30 instances of Auto-Battles per day. But don’t worry, you can easily bypass the hard grinding by simply using BlueStacks macro recorder to record your runs and keep re-running it.

Mother Cybele Champion Skills

Mother Cybele is an HP-based Support type champion from the Knights Revenant Faction. Being a Legendary Tier champion, her base stats are nothing to be laughed at, with a solid base HP of 7500 and 538 Defense. Her skillset also revolves around her buffs and her unique HP Swap mechanic. Her 1st ability Mask of Dread is an AOE hitting ability which has a 25% chance of placing a 30% Decrease Speed debuff for 2 turns. This skill will also increase her turn meter by 15%. Her 2nd ability Soul Shepherd is a buffing ability that provides Revive on Death and Increased Defence for 2 turns to all allies on a 6-turn cooldown. This skill can be booked down to 3 turn cooldowns if you have the legendary books to do it. Her 3rd skill Uncanny Transfer is another 6-turn cooldown skill that introduces a new mechanic called HP Swap. Essentially, when this skill is used on an ally, there are 2 conditions, and depending on the condition, the skill will take into effect. First of all, Mother Cybele will swap HP with the targeted ally. After swapping, if her HP is greater or equal to the target’s HP, then she will get boosted 40% turn meter as well as a 30% Increased Speed buff for 2 turns while giving the targeted ally a Block Damage buff for 1 turn. If her HP is lower than that of the targeted ally then the ally gets 40% boosted turn meter as well as a 30% Increased Speed buff for 2 turns while giving herself a Block Damage buff for 1 turn. She will also place a 15% Continuous Healing buff for 2 turns on herself. Her passive Gravewalker states that whenever she is killed, she will fully heal the ally with the lowest HP. If revived, she will heal all allies by 20% of their MAX HP and boost the turn meter by 15%.

Mother Cybele Fusion Event Guide

Mother Cybele fusion is a traditional fusion where players have to fuse 4 Epic champions using 16 Rare champions and using the fused 4 epic champions to fuse Mother Cybele. Sounds complicated? It’s very simple. All the champions required for fusing Mother Cybele can be found in various Events and Tournaments and can be achieved in reaching certain milestones in them. It is simple; however, we will give a detailed guide on how to manage your resources to obtain enough resources to fuse Mother Cybele.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Mother Cybele Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Preparation for these Events and Tournaments

As we can see from the timings of these Events and Tournaments presented by Plarium that many of these collide with each other. If you are confused by what some of the terms mean or where some of the locations of the dungeons and events are, here is a helpful guide.  Now doing every event and tournament 1 by 1 will drain your resources very quickly, and you will be left with insufficient fragments to fuse Mother Cybele. We recommend spending gems to refill energy for completing the remaining events and tournaments if needed.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Mother Cybele Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

This is where efficient planning and using your resources judiciously comes in. In this guide, we will give you all the essential tips and tricks to help you in your journey of fusing the legendary champion Mother Cybele. Energy, Silver, and Gem will be your 3 biggest resources, and if you have enough of these saved up, things will go more smoothly for you. But if you don’t have them stored don’t fret, we are here for you! Take a look at our preparation process for Mother Cybele Fusion here:-

5th – 20th August

  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 1: Ashwalker/Hellfreak (Obtained at 1800/3250 Points each)
  • Fire Knight Tournament: Lumberer (Obtained at 1800 Points)

The starting of the fusion event is a banger for anybody as players can easily complete them by getting points for both the event and tournament by farming Fire Knights. Players can farm Fire Knights dungeon at the highest stage possible for points in both the event and tournament as Fire Knight counts as a dungeon. To achieve the milestone of 1800 points, we recommend farming Stage 20 by doing 113-115 runs of Stage 20 in the Spiders Dungeon which will cost you around 2260 energy.

The Dungeon Divers event is long as it lasts for 5 days. It is an ample amount of time to farm dungeons and get both the milestones for Ashwalker and Hellfreak.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Mother Cybele Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 1: Candleguard (Obtained at 330 Points)

Classic Arena Takedown is just about winning in the Arena. You will get points per win according to the tier you are currently fighting in the Arena. For example, in Bronze 1 you will get 1 point per win and in Silver 1, you will get 4 points per win in the tournament. The number of points required for the milestone will also change depending on the league you are currently in. Make sure to use all your Arena tokens as well as the daily refreshes from the quests and playtime rewards.

  • Champion Chase Tournament: Ashwalker (Obtained at 1550 Points)

Champion Chase tournaments are a big resource sink in terms of Shards. Players usually have a limited number of shards unless you’re saving for quite a while particularly for fusions. We recommend going for the Summon Rush Event instead of this Champion Chase tournament as you can get a better number of points for the same number of shards. There is also speculation of an x2 void shard summon event with this champion chase tournament. However, the threshold for obtaining Ashwalker is pretty low, and hence, if you have enough resources you can also use the Green Mystery Shards as they are easily farmable and equate to 1 point per shard in these tournaments and events.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Mother Cybele Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

  • Ice Golem Tournament: Hellfreak (Obtained at 1800 Points)

For Ice Golem Tournaments, the goal is pretty simple and clear which is to farm Ice Golem Dungeon until you reach the goal of 1800 points to obtain the rare champion Hellfreak. This is a very achievable goal and can be completed easily by farming Stage 20 of Ice Golem Dungeon at least 113 times. This should cost you around 2260 energy.

  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 1: Lumberer (Obtained at 2625 Points)

This event is again very straightforward but can drain a lot of your silver reserves. If you were not prepared, then you might have to spend your precious energy to farm silver coins for upgrading your equipment. Here are a few tips to achieve those 2625 points:-

  1. You can pre-roll your artifacts till Lvl 7/11/15 and then simply spend silver to upgrade to the next level as you get points only after upgrading artifacts to LVL 4,8,12 and 16 with the highest points being given at 6-star LVL 16 artifact upgrades.
  2. You can level up 3 6-Star artifacts to level 16 to easily complete this event in a go.
  3. Save up to roughly 6 million silver per artifact enhancement event, as this amount is roughly what it takes to complete these events.

However, if you have enough silver or artifacts upgraded to a certain level, then feel free to use it to complete this event. It also takes a lot of time because the general upgrading speed for artifacts is very slow, and it fails many times as well. However, if you use BlueStacks Eco mode(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A72kd3C6VIU&ab_channel=BlueStacksOfficial), you can significantly speed up this process and save so much time!

  • Champion Training Event: Hellfreak/Conellia (Obtained at 4350/12000 Points each)

For champion training tournaments, make sure to have lots of resources like potions, fodder for ranking up champions as well as energy/brews for leveling up champions. This event is extremely grindy and can take a lot of time if you were not prepared beforehand. Champion Training tournament can be completed by farming the campaign mode! It will also help you in completing the Dungeon diver’s event which will be opening the next day. Champion leveling, promotion, and ascension all count towards points for the champion training tournament. If you have some brews saved up, this is the perfect time to use them to level up your champions. We recommend to farm food and 6-Star some of the champions that you have been wanting to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Also, remember to level up the chickens with brews for extra points before using them for promoting champions.

  • Spider Tournament: Ashwalker (Obtained at X Points)
  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 2: Candleguard (Obtained at X Points)

For Spider Tournaments, the goal is pretty simple and clear which is to farm Spider Dungeon until you reach the milestone of the number of points to obtain the rare champion Ashwalker. This is a very achievable goal and can be completed easily by farming Stage 20 of Spider Dungeon for at least ‘X’ number of times depending on the milestone set by Plarium.

  • Summon Rush Event: Candleguard/Tolf (Obtained at X/X Points)

Summon Rush event is very straightforward, the more you summon the more points you get. The quality of shards also decides the number of points you get. The quality of champions, however, does not affect the number of points obtained in this event. This is why we always recommend choosing Summon Rush Event Over Champion Chase tournaments when it comes to summoning events and tournaments. Here are the points received depending on the shard: –

Mystery Shard: 1 Point

Ancient Shard: 20 Points

Void Shard: 100 Points

Sacred Shard: 500 Points

We recommend going for at least the first milestone as it is usually lower and can be easily completed. Depending on whether or not you spent resources on the previous Champion Chase tournament, try to complete the event. Feel free to complete the whole event if you have enough shards saved up. Keep in mind that this Summon rush will be clashing with the 10X Boost up the event so it might be worth summoning if you like any of the champions available during the 10X.

  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 2: Lumberer (Obtained at X Points)
  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 2: Hellfreak (Obtained at X Points)

Same advice for both the tournament and event as we have previously covered them in detail. Classic Arena Takedown is all about playing the Arena as much as you can. Collect and use all your Arena Tokens. Artifact Enhancement is all about Silver and Gear. They are essentially a silver test to check how much silver the players are having. Feel free to use Gems if unable to complete them or having trouble getting resources.

  • Dragon Tournament: Candleguard (Obtained at X Points)

For Dragon Tournaments, the goal is pretty simple and clear which is to farm Dragon Dungeon until you reach the milestone of the number of points to obtain the rare champion Candleguard. This is a very achievable goal and can be completed easily by farming Stage 20 of Dragon Dungeon for at least ‘X’ number of times depending on the milestone set by Plarium.

  • Champion Training Tournament: Lumberer (Obtained at X Points)

Champion Training tournament can be completed by leveling up, promoting, and ascending your champions. Making your champions stronger by enhancing them in the Tavern. For this, you need a lot of Brews, Chickens/Fodder, and Potions. It helps if you already had some saved up but if you were not prepared then you would need a lot of Energy to farm these resources and get points. However, depending on the requirement/milestone it might be very easy or moderate in terms of difficulty.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Mother Cybele Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 3: Ashwalker (Obtained at X Points)

This is the 3rd iteration of the Dungeon Divers Event. Luckily, it will fall in line with the ongoing Champion Training Tournament, so players can get points for both the event and tournament by farming the campaign mode. You can farm fodder and level up fodder by farming the highest possible stage in the Campaign mode. This will get you points for both the Event as well as the Tournament.

Fusing Mother Cybele

After collecting and/or fusing the new 4 Epic champions, players will still need to ascend and level them up to 5 stars level 50 for fusing Mother Cybele. For this feat, the players will need the following potions and chickens:

    • Greater Affinity Potions: 16 Force, 56 Spirit, 36 Void, 36 Magic
    • Superior Affinity Potions: 6 Magic, 12 Spirit, 6 Void
  • 108 Greater Arcane Potions
  • 12 Superior Arcane Potions
  • 16 x 4-Star Chickens
  • 48 x 3-Star Chickens

For leveling up champions, we recommend farming 8-3 brutal stage repeatedly or use your brews to level them, especially during Champion Training events and tournaments.
