RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Classical fusions are those type of fusions where players are required to collect whole champions and fuse them into the legendary champions in order to complete the event. They are held at a higher standard of difficulty compared to champion fragment fusion events. This is due to the fact that the amount of resources required to first get the 4 Epic champions and then further fuse them to obtain the legendary champions are tremendous. Firstly, players will need 16 copies of the Rare champions.  Players can get these Rare champions required to fuse 4 copies of the new Fusion Epic champions from different events and tournaments. The milestones at which these rewards are given are quite high compared to usual events and tournaments. This will be an in-depth guide on the various ways available for players to obtain the different rare champions and fuse the legendary champion for April 2023 – Razelvarg.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

During this Fusion event, Plarium provides 16 rare champions in multiple Events and Tournaments at certain point requirements. For the first time in the history of classic fusion events, players will not be able to get the Epic champion separately from any tournament or event. Players will have to manually level and ascend each of the Rare champions to fuse them into the epic champion. Further, they have to level and ascend the 4 copies of the Epic champion to 5 stars level 50 to Fuse Razelvarg.

Keep in mind that these events and tournaments will take a lot of your time if you’re going to manually play the game since Plarium only provides 30 instances of Auto-Battles per day. But don’t worry, you can easily bypass the hard grinding by simply using the BlueStacks macro recorder to record your runs and keep re-running it.

Razelvarg Champion Skills

Razelvarg is a new legendary grade Magic affinity champion from the Skinwalkers faction. Razelvarg’s attacks and abilities deal damage according to his Attack. His base Attack stands at 1520, which is quite average for DPS champions. We recommend building Razelvarg with Savage, Lethal, Cruel, Stone skin, and Zeal artifact sets with Critical Hit Rate%, Critical Hit Damage%, and Attack% as the main stats. Try to focus on getting Speed, Accuracy, Attack%, and Critical Hit Damage% as sub-stats.

Razelvarg Fusion Event Guide

Like previous traditional/classic fusions, the difficulty bar for Razelvarg fusion is quite high. One of the biggest difficulties of fusing Razelvarg will be to decide whether you have enough resources to complete the fusion. Leaving a fusion midway is one of the worst options as it drains your resources while not allowing you to fuse Razelvarg.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

To set the premise of the event, players require 4 copies of the same Epic champion. Each Epic champion can further be fused with the help of 4 copies of the new rare champion. The copies of the Rare champion can be found in Events and Tournaments and can be collected by reaching certain milestones in them. Pretty simple, right? It is simple; however, we will give a detailed guide on how to manage your resources to obtain enough resources to fuse them. Let’s see who the new Epic champion required for fusing Razelvarg is: –

  • Delaaja (Spirit Affinity)

RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Further, players will need 16 copies of the new rare champion to fuse them into the above-mentioned Epic champion. The new Rare champion is:

  • Margrave Greenhawk (Force Affinity)

We will now list the various events and tournaments through which you will be able to obtain copies of these new champions.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Here is the list: –

  • Dragon Tournament (Apr 13th – 16th)
  • Champion Training Tournament (Apr 13th – 16th)
  • Summon Rush Event (Apr 14th – 17th)
  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 1 (Apr 14th – 17th)
  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 1 (Apr 15th – 18th)
  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 1 (Apr 15th – 18th)
  • Ice Golem Tournament (Apr 16th – 19th)
  • Champion Training Event (Apr 20th – 25th)
  • Fire Knight Tournament (Apr 20th – 23rd)
  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 2 (Apr 20th – 23rd)
  • Champion Chase Tournament (Apr 21st – 24th)
  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 2 (Apr 21st – 24th)
  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 2 (Apr 22nd – 25th)
  • Spider Tournament (Apr 23rd – 26th)
  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 3 (Apr 25th – 29th)
  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 3 (Apr 26th – 29th)

Preparation for these Events and Tournaments

As we can see from the timings of these Events and Tournaments presented by Plarium that many of these collide with each other. If you are confused by what some of the terms mean or where some of the locations of the dungeons and events are, here is a helpful guide.  Now doing every event and tournament 1 by 1 will drain your resources very quickly, and you will be left with insufficient rare champions to fuse one copy of the Epic champion. You might need to spend gems to refill energy for completing the remaining events and tournaments.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Careful planning and judiciously using your resources will make this fusion event a little bit simpler. Take a look at our preparation process for Razelvarg Fusion here: –

13th April – 1st May –

  • Dragon Tournament: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at 2250 Points)
  • Champion Training Tournament: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at 2850 points)

The Dragon tournament requires the players to farm the Dragon dungeon in order to gain points towards the tournament. Players can get points toward the tournament based on quantity and quality of the artifacts raided from the dungeon. Naturally, only the artifacts farmed account for the points and not the time taken to farm the dungeon. Hence, it’s most efficient to clear Stage 20 of the Dragon dungeon for at least 220 times in order to reach the milestone for the Rare champion. The entire tournament should cost you around 2200 energy if you do it the way we imply. Another interesting argument arises when players farm Stage 25 of the Dragons dungeon, as it provides better quality of artifacts but it is less efficient in terms of energy spent per point obtained ratios.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

During the Dragon tournament, Plarium is also going to be running a Dungeon divers event alongside the Dragon dungeon tournament. Seperating them is 1 day, and we recommend you wait till the next day to start farming the Dragons dungeon. This is due to the fact that players can get points for both the event as well as the tournament if they farm only Dragon dungeon during the duration both of them are active. This will result in a lot of energy saved as opposed to trying to complete both the event and tournament separately. Also, Plarium has stated that they will be hosting a new set of Super Raid events for the entire duration of Dragon tournament. Super Raids allow the players to get double the rewards by consuming double the energy, but playing the stage only 1 time. Essentially, it doubles your artifact gains for energy used but saves half the time. Players can “check-mark” the box next to Super Raids to use them when farming the Dragon dungeon.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

The Champion Training tournament is one of the toughest events in this list, right on with the summoning events. Players try to compete against other players in a leader board format. Naturally, this will lead to a lot of resource drain as you try to maximize your champion growth. We would recommend to only go for the Rare champion in the side rewards instead of competing with other players to get the 1st place reward. Here are some additional tips for the champion training tournament:

  1. Always remember to level up your chickens before using them to promote your champions.
  2. Do not waste brews to level up champions who are already at a high level as the efficiency of brews decreases drastically if used on high-level champions.
  3. Use Mystery shards to generate more fodder if you are out of low-rank champions.
  • Summon Rush Event: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at X Points)
  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 1: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at X Points)

Summon Rush event is a summoning based event that rewards the players according to the summons they make. The quality of shards is the determining factor for the points acquired for the event. The quality of champions does not affect the number of points obtained in this event. Here are the points received depending on the shard: –

  • Mystery Shard: 1 Point
  • Ancient Shard: 20 Points
  • Void Shard: 100 Points
  • Sacred Shard: 500 Points

RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

The Dungeon divers event is going to be the 1st iteration such for the Razelvarg fusion. As explained previously, we highly recommend that you start farming and completing the Dragon tournament as soon as this Dungeon divers starts in order to get points for both the event as well as the tournament.

  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 1: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at X Points)

The Classic Arena Takedown tournament is a PvP based tournament that requires the players to fight other players in the Classic Arena game mode in order to get points. The points are given only on victories and not on losses. Hence, it’s best advised to start focusing on building a good Arena team if you have not till now. Keep in mind that the higher your tier in the Classic Arena, the higher points you will get for the tournament per victory. However, your milestone to get the Rare champion will also go up depending on your current tier in the Arena.

  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 1: Margrave Greenhawk (Obtained at X Points)
  • Ice Golem Tournament: Margrave Greenhawk (Obtained at X Points)

Artifact Enhancement event is again very straightforward but can drain a lot of your silver reserves. If you were not prepared, then you might have to spend your precious energy to farm silver coins for upgrading your equipment. Here are a few tips to achieve those points: –

  1. You can pre-roll your artifacts till Lvl 7/11/15 and then simply spend silver to upgrade to the next level as you get points only after upgrading artifacts to LVL 4,8,12 and 16 with the highest points being given at 6-star LVL 16 artifact upgrades.
  2. You can level up 3 6-Star artifacts to level 16 to easily complete this event in a go
  3. Save up to roughly 6 million silver per artifact enhancement event, as this amount is roughly what it takes to complete these events.

However, if you have enough silver or artifacts upgraded to a certain level, then feel free to use them to complete this event. It also takes a lot of time because the general upgrading speed for artifacts is very slow, and it fails many times as well. However, if you use BlueStacks Eco mode, you can significantly speed up this process and save so much time!

RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

The Ice Golem tournament requires the players to farm the Ice Golem dungeon in order to gain points towards the tournament. Players can get points toward the tournament based on quantity and quality of the artifacts raided from the dungeon. Naturally, only the artifacts farmed account for the points and not the time taken to farm the dungeon. Hence, it’s most efficient to clear Stage 20 of the Ice Golem dungeon for at least 220 times in order to reach the milestone for the Rare champion. The entire tournament should cost you around 2200 energy if you do it the way we imply. Another interesting argument arises when players farm Stage 25 of the Ice Golem dungeon, as it provides better quality of artifacts but it is less efficient in terms of energy spent per point obtained ratios.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Plarium has stated that they will be hosting a new set of Super Raid events for the entire duration of Ice Golem tournament. Super Raids allow the players to get double the rewards by consuming double the energy, but playing the stage only 1 time. Essentially, it doubles your artifact gains for energy used but saves half the time. Players can “check-mark” the box next to Super Raids to use them when farming the Ice Golem dungeon.

  • Champion Training Event: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at X Points)
  • Fire Knight Tournament: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at X Points)

Champion Training event is a champion growth related event that requires you to enhance your champions in the Tavern. The milestones to get the 2 copies of the Rare champion should be easily doable if you have enough energy saved up to farm the campaign mode. Levelling up champions and promoting them later remains to be the 2 best ways to earn ample points for the event.

The Fire Knight tournament requires the players to farm the Ice Golem dungeon in order to gain points towards the tournament. Players can get points toward the tournament based on quantity and quality of the artifacts raided from the dungeon. Naturally, only the artifacts farmed account for the points and not the time taken to farm the dungeon. Hence, it’s most efficient to clear Stage 20 of the Fire Knight dungeon for at least 220 times in order to reach the milestone for the Rare champion. The entire tournament should cost you around 2200 energy if you do it the way we imply. Another interesting argument arises when players farm Stage 25 of the Fire Knight dungeon, as it provides better quality of artifacts but it is less efficient in terms of energy spent per point obtained ratios.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Plarium has stated that they will be hosting a new set of Super Raid events for the entire duration of Fire Knight tournament. Super Raids allow the players to get double the rewards by consuming double the energy, but playing the stage only 1 time. Essentially, it doubles your artifact gains for energy used but saves half the time. Players can “check-mark” the box next to Super Raids to use them when farming the Fire Knight dungeon.

  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 2: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at X Points)
  • Champion Chase Tournament: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at X Points)

The 2nd iteration of the Dungeon divers event starts now! As usual, we would recommend players to start farming the Fire Knight dungeon as soon as the dungeon divers start so that they can get points for both the Fire Knight tournament and the Dungeon divers event. This is an age-old strategy being used since the inception of these fusion events where players can double down on the points while using half the energy.

The Champion chase tournament is a summoning related tournament that requires you to summon high rarity champions via any methods. The amount of points given for the tournament are dependent on the quality of the champions and not the quality of the shards used. Hence, players often get more points in such events depending on their luck from the shards. Another great way of getting quick points is to use your fragment champions.

  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 2: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at X/X Points)
  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 2: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at X Points)

The 2nd iteration of the Artifact Enhancement event is the perfect opportunity for players to sell out their useless artifacts collected by farming over such a long time. This will not only provide you with extra silver resources but also some good artifacts for you to upgrade.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

The 2nd iteration for the Classic Arena Takedown starts just after dungeon divers is over! Do not worry as you should have ample amount of Classic Arena tokens accumulated over time. Just follow the same advice we gave for the 1st iteration of the tournament.

  • Spider Tournament: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at X Points)
  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 2: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at X Points)

The Spider tournament requires the players to farm the Spider dungeon in order to gain points towards the tournament. Players can get points toward the tournament based on quantity and quality of the artifacts raided from the dungeon. Naturally, only the artifacts farmed account for the points and not the time taken to farm the dungeon. Hence, it’s most efficient to clear Stage 20 of the Spider dungeon for at least 220 times in order to reach the milestone for the Rare champion. The entire tournament should cost you around 2200 energy if you do it the way we imply. Another interesting argument arises when players farm Stage 25 of the Spider dungeon, as it provides better quality of artifacts but it is less efficient in terms of energy spent per point obtained ratios.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Razelvarg Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Plarium has stated that they will be hosting a new set of Super Raid events for the entire duration of Spider tournament. Super Raids allow the players to get double the rewards by consuming double the energy, but playing the stage only 1 time. Essentially, it doubles your artifact gains for energy used but saves half the time. Players can “check-mark” the box next to Super Raids to use them when farming the Spider dungeon.

The 3rd iteration of the Dungeon divers event starts just 1 day before the Spiders tournament ends. Hence, we would recommend to farm Spiders for the entire day on the 25th April when Dungeon divers event starts.

  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 3: Margrave Greenhawk Champion (Obtained at X Points)

The last event in the Razelvarg fusion is also the 3rd iteration of Artifact enhancement event! By now, you should have tons of silver resources due to the intense amount of farming you have done. If not, then try to use gems for energy refills to get more silver as the entire fusion will be worthless if you give up now.
