All Build Paths (Classes) in Where Winds Meet
Much like any open-world MMO, Where Winds Meet also boasts a class system of its own. Officially called as “Build Paths”, these unique playstyles offer a deep insight into the complex combat system of the game. Each build path is unique but can seem familiar to veteran MMO players. Essentially, all classes in the game are given fancy names but their functionality is objective. Some build paths offer ranged damage; others can give melee damage. Some classes also specialize in tanking for the team, as well as offers heals. There are 6 build paths to choose from in Where Winds Meet:
- Bellstrike – Splendor
- Bellstrike – Umbra
- Stonesplit – Might
- Silkbind – Jade
- Bamboocut – Wind
- Silkbind – Deluge

Bellstrike-Splendor Build Path in Where Winds Meet
The Bellstrike-Splendor build is a melee-ranged DPS playstyle that lets you go all in with the Nameless Sword and Nameless Spear. This build offers a ton of DPS and mobility, especially during the early game. At the same time, you will get multiple buffs when attacking debuffed targets, thus, amplifying your damage dealt. This happens thanks to the Nameless Spear martial arts weapon skills. Don’t think that you will need to go into melee range always to deal damage. The Spear also brings charged ranged attacks that deal more damage according to the charging time.

Bellstrike-Umbra Build Path in Where Winds Meet
The Bellstrike-Umbra build is a melee-ranged DPS playstyle that lets you go all in with the Strategic Sword and Heavenquaker Spear. This build path makes use of sharp single targeted damaging attacks that apply the Bleed debuff on the user. A continuous streak of bleed debuffs helps ensure that the target goes down slowly but painfully. The constant ticks away from the health bar feel satisfying during boss fights. You can pair this build path with the right armor and accessory sets such as the Eaglerise armor and Hawking accessories.

Stonesplit-Might Build Path in Where Winds Meet
The Stonesplit-Might build is a melee-ranged Tank playstyle that lets roll into fights with the Thundercry Blade and Stormbreaker Spear. This build path offers a ton of survivability and control but lacks crucial mobility and damage. It’s the perfect class to pick up in multiplayer modes as you can tank for your team for days on stretch. Paired with a healer class, and you will never die. The constant crowd-control in melee-range ensures the enemies won’t be able to reach your carries in time.

Silkbind-Jade Build Path in Where Winds Meet
The Silkbind-Jade build is a ranged DPS playstyle that lets you have fun with the Inkwell Fan and Vernal Umbrella. This build path offers players a ton of damage, mobility, and control utility. Sadly, it’s weaknesses include low survivability and support for the team. Consider it like your classic DPS archers or marksmen class in other MMO games. Pair it up with the right accessories and armor sets to be unstoppable. The Veil of the Willow accessory set with the Beyond the Chill armor set will give you more damage and defense.

Bamboocut-Wind Build Path in Where Winds Meet
The Bamboocut-Wind build is a melee-ranged DPS playstyle that lets you wield the Infernal Twinblades and Mortal Rope Dart. This class provides players with a lot of damage, mobility, and control options. Unfortunately, its flaws include poor survival and assistance for the team. Both of these weapons are good at charging upfront towards the enemies, giving them less chance to react. You can also interrupt enemy charges by making use of the combos.

Silkbind-Deluge Build Path in Where Winds Meet
The Silkbind-Deluge build is a ranged Support playstyle that lets you wield the Panacea Fan and Soulshade Umbrella. This build path offers a ton of survivability and heals for the team. It lacks in dealing damage, or providing crowd-control. This build path is best used by team players who have a deeper knowledge of the PvP meta. In fact, it is touted as one of the best builds to use in Where Winds Meet. This class is definitely not for beginners, as it requires patience to constantly charge Dew for more heals.
