Titled “Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail,” this crossover event brings together the sci-fi universe of Honkai: Star Rail with the rich lore of the Fate series, offering players new characters, storylines, and gameplay mechanics.

Overview of the Collaboration

Starting July 11 at 12:00 PM (server time), players can participate in the collaboration event, which will run until the end of Version 3.6. During this period, two iconic characters from the Fate series—Saber and Archer, will be introduced as playable 5-star units. Notably, Archer will be available for free to all players who log in during the event window, while Saber can be obtained through a special collaboration warp using Star Rail Special Passes.

Saber – New Playable Character

Saber, known for her noble demeanour and unwavering resolve, joins the roster as a Wind-element character following the Path of Destruction. Her combat style emphasizes powerful melee attacks and team synergy, making her a formidable presence on the battlefield. Saber’s ultimate ability is expected to showcase her iconic Excalibur attack, delivering devastating damage to enemies.

Archer – New Playable Character

Archer enters the game as a Quantum-element character on the Path of The Hunt. His playstyle focuses on strategic skill point management and precise, high-damage attacks against single targets. Archer’s abilities reflect his complex persona, blending calculated offense with a sense of justice.

All Players get Archer for Free!

In a generous move, HoYoverse is offering Archer as a free 5-star character to all players who log in during the event period. From July 11 until the end of Version 3.6, players can claim Archer simply by logging into the game, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to add this iconic character to their roster without relying on the gacha system.

The crossover event benefits from the direct involvement of important Fate franchise characters. Takashi Takeuchi, a renowned artist, developed the character models for Saber and Archer, assuring visual authenticity to their original appearances. Additionally, Kinoko Nasu, the creator of the Fate series, is confirmed to oversaw the storyline, adding authenticity and depth to the narrative integration.

Brand-new Collaboration themed Event

The collaborative event takes place in Penacony, the Planet of Festivities, which has been recreated as a dreamy conflict evocative of the Holy Grail War. To outmanoeuvre opponents, players will engage in a new game format in which they summon Servants, use Command Seals, and unleash Noble Phantasms. This setting combines thematic elements from both realms, providing a new narrative experience while honouring the source material.
