Battlegrounds Mobile India, the crazed Battle Royale by Krafton India Inc, had made a hot comeback after being banned in end of July 2022. Players around the country are rejoicing and celebrating the unban of BGMI. Many are also concerned and playing the game cautiously as the ban has been lifted initially as part of 3-month trial period. Nonetheless, such exciting news demands an update on the new features that are expected to come in the future of BGMI. Many of the features that we have listed are taken from the live version of the parent game, PUBG mobile that is currently ahead of BGMI in version updates. Let’s take a look at 19 new features that are expected to come to BGMI in future version updates.

#1. Erangel is Getting New Loading Ports!

Yes, you heard it right! Erangel is going to be getting 3 new loading parts, apart from the previously existing 2. The current loading ports are located at North of Georgopool and South of Novorepnoye in Sosnovka Island. The 3 new loading ports will be located at North of Military Base, Central Farm, and Ferry Pier, respectively. Enjoy devising new strategies!

#2. Voice-to Text Feature Added

A new feature that will translate what you are speaking into the mic into words is going to be added. This feature was one of the most requested one’s by professional players as having something to read in a written form also helps many players. It will also enable players who are deaf to enjoy the game more and engage with their teammates. 

#3. Different Weather System 

BGMI and PUBG are notorious for having a mildly hated weather system, especially when it gets a little bit darker in the evening. The enemies are tough to spot and locate, and this might kill the fun for many players, especially those who are not ultra-competitive and just want to relax. Well, don’t worry, as it is expected that a new weather system with pink-stinted clouds and soft surroundings is soon going to be implemented in BGMI if they go along with what’s happening in PUBG.

#4. Hospital Building Upgraded

The Hospital building is finally getting a slight remodel after being known as one of the worst kept buildings in Georgopool. The fact that the Hospital building is also quite near the loot drop area makes it more iconic for many players. A lot of fighting and team brawls happen over the rooftop area of the Hospital. It’s expected that the building is going to be getting fixed from areas where it was broken. 

#5. LMG’s Getting Gun Shields

A gun shield is a must have for LMGs such as DP-28 and M249. Gun Shields are one of the few rare useful attachments that were introduced in PUBG over the time BGMI was officially banned by the government. Gun shields can block incoming bullets and protect players in prone position. The bullets that are launched from the front are the only one’s blocked.

#6. Full Auto Mod Coming for Burst Rifles

M16A4 with 5.56 ammo and Mk-47 Mutant with 7.62 ammo are going to be buffed to act like full auto machine guns. Players will be able to empty the entire magazine in one go without the need to pause. This will give these 2 weapons a higher pick rate among players. 

#7. Flash Shop Introduced

Flash Shops are going to be available at different checkpoints on any given map. These are going to be different from your regular Shops as they are going to be offering discounts at guns and attachments. Their spawn location will be random, so any player’s guess is their best choice. One thing to note is that Flash Shops will only spawn outdoors.

#8. Cab for Stalber

A new cable car is going to be added for players who are wanting to get on top of the Stalber mountain for some potential camping spots or to simply admire the beauty of the location. This cable car will help players skip the mountainous tracks and get on top of Stalber easily. It will make the ride easier for players who do not have vehicles as well.

#9. Supply Kits

Supply kits are a necessary addition that was done in PUBG mobile to make it easier for players to collect and find accessories and loot. Supplies and consumables are one of the easiest objects to find in the game now. The same is expected to happen in BGMI in the future updates. The supply kits include the likes of boosters, med kits, and first aid. 

#10. Transformation Feature in Spectator Mode

A new feature called “Transform” is going to be added which will allows players who are dead to accompany their teammates in the game as a hologram. But the catch is that the dead teammate will not be able to see any visuals of enemies or loot drops to notify their teammates. It will be as if they are still part of the team even after being dead. This will also help cure the severe boredom many players have justified about after they die. 

#11. Creation Mode

With Update 2.6, PUBG Mobile saw the addition of Creation mode for all players a part of aesthetic. The entire game mode has no real impact on the actual game but it is only added as a form of time-pass for players to practice creating maps. Not only they can create and customize maps, they can change everything from landscape to placing different buildings around the area. 

#12. Vehicle Storage Facillity

As players were demanding for more storage space in their backpack, it seems Krafton decided to do something even better – add an inventory space in the boot of the vehicle that you are riding. Now, players can stuff extra items such as first aid, ammo supply, and more in the back of the vehicle they are riding to keep it secure and safe. In case of a vehicle being exploded, the loot will drop along side it and not be destroyed.

#13. Bot Intelligence Increased

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) of bots has been upgraded and increased to better match with the real-time action of players. The bots are now going to be able to throw grenades, heal, and throw smokes just as if a real player would. Hence, the bots are going to be more dynamic and unpredictable in nature which makes playing against them more satisfying.

#14. Revamped Hotel Building

The Hotel buildings that are present in Pochinki, Novorepnoye, and Farm is going to be completely revamped. Initially, it was a blue roofed building with 2 balconies. The revamped Hotel will house a lot of boxes to make it more strategic for players to enter and exit. It will also become more spacious from inside to avoid getting cramped.

#15. Honey Badger and FAMAS: New Weapons

The Honey Badger is an Assault rifle that is going to be available only on Erangel and Livik map. It has a 7.62mm ammo type and deals 43 base damage per bullet. It has a reload time of 3.8 seconds and a fire rate of 0.09 per second. It fires single bullets and can be shot automatically. 

The FAMAS is an Assault rifle that is going to be available only on Erangel and Livik map. It has a 5.56mm ammo type and deals 38 base damage per bullet. It has a reload time of 3.6 seconds and a fire rate of 0.15 per second. It fires single bullets and can be shot automatically.

#16. Sheds for Bicycle

The Bicycle update is probably one of the most satisfying updates to come to PUBG mobile, and the same is expected to come to BGMI.  Players can now ride and hitch bicycles that can be refuelled and shared by 1 more player. 

#17. Default Weapon on Landing

It is essential for any player who lands to search for a weapon in order to defend himself or to engage in fights with other players. It was naturally understood to avoid players if they got hands on a weapon first. However, the new updated for PUBG have brought a default landing weapon system that arms every player with a Machete when they land, saving them the time and efforts.

#18. Launch of Mirado and Monster Truck in Erangel

The Mirado and Monster Truck can now be found and driven around in Erangel map also. Previously, their use was only limited to Miramar and Livik, respectively.

#19. Operational Gas Stations

Gas Stations have long been a cosmetic building that are just there to play the part and act as ornaments. However, they are finally going to be operational with the new updates as it happened in PUBG mobile. Players will now be able to refuel their vehicle gas tanks for free at any Gas station. This will help save them a lot of time as previously players would have to look for fuel door to door.
