The latest Epic Seven update is bringing another of those fancy moonlight heroes and a re-run of a familiar face seen the previous summer. Epic Seven is a free-to-play game that is available on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

The update is finally bringing the Moonlight version of the hero Roana. Termed “Requiem Roana”, she will be a 5-Star Dark Mage that will excel at dealing with increased AOE damage over time and reducing the effectiveness of combat readiness increase. The second hero is none other than the limited-time unit Summer Break Charlotte who was introduced the previous year. Let’s check all the new content coming to Epic Seven with the 15th June 2023 update. 

Requiem Roana – New Dark Elemental 5-Star Unit

Requiem Roana is a natural 5-Star Dark elemental hero that is classified as a Mage in-game. Requiem Roana is the Moonlight counterpart of the hero Roana. She is slated to release on 22nd June 2023. Players will be able to recruit Requiem Roana through her own mystic summoning banner where she will be guaranteed to be summoned after 200 summons are made. Her hero description reads the following – “An acclaimed top model who feels empty inside!” 

Requiem Roana’s skills are as follows: –

Touch of Darkness – Attacks the enemy with magic, with a 65% chance to decrease Defense for 1 turn. Cannot trigger a critical hit, and a successful attack deals damage proportional to the caster’s Attack.

Soulburn effect (-10 Souls): Increases effect chance to 100% and decreases Defense of the target for 2 turns.

+1: + 5% damage dealt

+2: + 5% damage dealt

+3: + 10% effect chance

+4: + 10% damage dealt

+5: + 10% damage dealt

Boundless Obsession (Passive Ability) – Reduces the effect of Combat Readiness increases provided by Speed by 50%. At the start of the foremost ally’s turn except for the caster, increases the Combat Readiness of the caster by 70%. Can only be activated once per turn.

+1: + 5% combat readiness

+2: + 5% combat readiness

+3: + 5% combat readiness

+4: + 5% combat readiness

+5: + 10% combat readiness

Eternal Lament – Attacks all enemies with a horde of illusions, increasing cooldowns by 1 turn and decreasing Combat Readiness]/red] by 30%. Cannot trigger a critical hit, and penetrates the target’s Defense. Increases damage dealt every time this skill is used and can stack up to 3 times.

+3: – 1 turn cooldown

+4: + 10% damage dealt

+5: + 10% damage dealt

Summer Break Charlotte – Ice Elemental 5-Star Unit

Summer Break Charlotte is a natural 5-Star Ice elemental hero that is classified as a Knight in-game. Summer Break Charlotte will be having a re-run on 22nd June 2023. Players will be able to recruit Summer Break Charlotte through her own limited-time covenant summoning banner where she will be guaranteed to be summoned after 120 summons are made. Her hero description reads the following – “The Lady of La Mare, who keeps insisting she is “not excited” at all!”

Summer Break Charlotte’s skills are as follows: –

Caught A Big One – Attacks the enemy with two meaty fish and has a 50% chance to decrease Defense for 1 turn. When activated as a Dual Attack, this attack changes into an attack that targets all enemies. The changed attack does not trigger a counterattack and increases the Combat Readiness of the caster by 25%.

Soulburn effect (-10 Souls): Attacks all enemies. This attack does not trigger a Dual Attack or a Counterattack.

+2: + 5% damage dealt

+3: + 10% effect chance

+4: + 10% damage dealt

+5: + 10% damage dealt

An Adult’s Responsibility (Passive Skill) – Increases Critical Hit Chance by 20%. At the start of the first battle, gains 60 Fighting Spirit and grants enhanced Dual Attack to the caster. At the end of every 4 ally turns, grants enhanced Dual Attack to the caster.

+1: + 1% critical hit chance

+2: + 2% critical hit chance

+3: + 2% critical hit chance

+5: + 3% critical hit chance

Whale, Hello There – Dispels all debuffs from the caster and attacks the enemy with a pod of killer whales, stunning for 1 turn. Increases Speed of all allies for 2 turns. Penetrates the target’s Defense by 50%.

+1: + 5% combat readiness

+2: + 5% combat readiness

+3: – 1 turn cooldown

+4: + 5% combat readiness

+5: + 10% combat readiness

Mature Sunglasses (5-Star Artifact) – Increases Critical Hit Damage by 30.0%. When attacked, decreases damage suffered by 14.0%. When more than one damage reduction effect is granted, only the strongest effect is applied.
