Ballon d’Or Event Guide – FC Mobile 27

EA SPORTS FC Mobile is celebrating football’s biggest individual award with its Ballon d’Or event, which runs from October 22 to November 19, 2026. The event ties into the 70th edition of the Ballon d’Or, held in London on October 26, and combines nominee challenges, historical matches, a token store, exchanges, and drafts. This guide covers everything available in the first week and explains where to spend your tokens, Star Shards, and Draft Vouchers.
How the Ballon d’Or Event Is Structured
The 28-day event is built around a Main tab that links to The Nominees, The Criteria, Reward, and 70 Years Archive tabs, with one more tab set to unlock on October 29. The 70 Years Archive is presented as a series of France Football magazine issues and is described in-game as a chronicle of the players who claimed the Ballon d’Or, with further issues unlocking over time.
Ballon d’Or Tokens are the event currency, earned through the Nominees and Criteria chapters, Division Rivals, and a daily Ad Reward. New content unlocks at weekly resets, with expansions scheduled for October 29 and November 5. The table below summarises the first week.
| Event Feature | What You Do | Key Reward |
| The Nominees | Score goals with players from the featured leagues of the day | Nominee reveals, Training Transfer Points, Rank Up Points |
| The Criteria | Play historical matches inspired by Ronaldinho, Cannavaro, and Kaká | 100 Ballon d’Or Tokens per match |
| Reward | Spend tokens in the Ballon d’Or Store | Coins, Rank Up Points, Draft Vouchers, 124 OVR Bobby Moore |
| Exchanges | Trade Ballon d’Or players and Star Shards | Trophy versions of cards, 120 to 123 OVR players |
| Draft | Spend FC Draft Vouchers on themed player pools | Ballon d’Or players |
| Star Pass | Earn credits from event activities and Division Rivals | 122 OVR Ousmane Dembélé at Level 35 |

The Nominees Chapter
According to its in-game description, The Nominees chapter asks you to reveal this year’s thirty nominees through league-based challenges, then create special reports on the final five candidates by completing objectives inspired by their strengths and achievements. The first two days covered the Premier League and LaLiga, while Day 5 targets Liga Portugal and the Eredivisie.
The daily objectives count goals scored with players from the target leagues in any mode. Scoring 5 goals reveals one nominee, 8 goals awards 150 Training Transfer Points, 10 goals reveals another nominee, 15 goals awards 100 Rank Up Points, and 25 goals reveals three more, for a total of five reveals per day. The track also pays out Ballon d’Or Tokens and a daily Gem bonus. A Division Rivals match with a squad built around the day’s leagues therefore progresses both at once.
Apple’s App Store feature for the event says the 2026 winner is unveiled by completing Objective Matches that award the Ballon d’Or Winner player item, so check the event hub after the October 26 ceremony.

The Criteria Chapter
The Criteria chapter is built around the three standards behind Ballon d’Or voting, each represented by a past winner. Criteria A, Individual Brilliance, follows Ronaldinho’s 2005 win. Criteria B, Team Achievements, follows Fabio Cannavaro’s 2006 win. Criteria C, Class and Fair Play, follows Kaká’s 2007 win.
Each criterion has four matches that unlock one after another, each based on a real moment from that season, such as Ronaldinho’s goal in Brazil’s 4-1 Confederations Cup final win over Argentina, Cannavaro lifting the World Cup on his 100th cap, and Kaká’s assist for Inzaghi as Milan beat Liverpool 2-1 in Athens. Every match pays 100 Ballon d’Or Tokens, so clearing all twelve is worth 1,200 tokens. The chapter also has objectives for completing each criterion and for scoring 20 goals with Ballon d’Or players, so use any Ballon d’Or player items you own wherever you can.

The Ballon d’Or Store
The Reward tab opens on the Ballon d’Or Store, a track of reward tiers bought with Ballon d’Or Tokens. Each tier pairs a fixed reward with a Selectable Reward slot, and the game asks you to choose the Selectable Reward before exchanging tokens for that tier. The fixed rewards on the opening stretch include 400 Rank Up Points, 30,000,000 Coins, FC Draft Vouchers, and 800 Rank Up Points.
The standout tier is Bobby Moore, a 124 OVR centre back at Red Rank with the Level 1 Anticipate PlayStyle. When choosing Selectable Rewards, Star Shards, Gems, and Rank Up Points generally offer the most long term value, and Star Shards in particular feed Star Signings and every exchange covered below.
The Reward tab also includes an Ad Reward. Watching an ad, up to twice per day, grants a Ballon d’Or Pack whose possible rewards include 25 Ballon d’Or Tokens, 10 Gems, or 30,000 Coins.

Star Signings and Winner’s Portrait Exchanges
Star Signings lets you buy specific Ballon d’Or players with Star Shards. The headline options in the first week are Ronaldo Nazário, a 124 OVR striker for 67,500 Star Shards, and Andriy Shevchenko, a 123 OVR striker for 22,000 Star Shards. Buying one player here also completes a quest worth 600 Gems.
Winner’s Portrait I, found in the Reward tab, turns either card into a version showing the player with the Ballon d’Or trophy, and each portrait pack can be claimed once. Ronaldo requires the 124 OVR card plus 20,000 Star Shards, and Shevchenko requires the 123 OVR card plus 8,000 Star Shards. A third player is due on October 29, and Winner’s Portrait II unlocks on November 5. Portrait versions keep the same OVR, so shards are often better spent on the exchanges below.

League and Nation Exchanges
The League and Nation exchanges turn Ballon d’Or players and Star Shards into higher rated cards. Each exchange only accepts the Ballon d’Or versions of the listed players, so regular cards of the same players will not count. Each League exchange produces a 122 to 123 OVR player from that league:
- Premier League: 2x 121 OVR William Saliba, 4x 120 OVR Bruno Fernandes, 8x 119 OVR Premier League players, and 6,000 Star Shards
- Ligue 1: 2x 121 OVR Willian Pacho, 2x 121 OVR João Neves, 4x 120 OVR Ligue 1 players, and 5,500 Star Shards
- LaLiga: 2x 121 OVR Jude Bellingham, 2x 121 OVR Pedri, 6x 119 OVR LaLiga players, and 6,000 Star Shards
The Nation exchanges cost less. The Spain exchange takes 2x 119 OVR Oyarzabal, 5x 118 OVR Moleiro, and 1,250 Star Shards for a 120 to 121 OVR Spain player. The France exchange takes 4x 119 OVR Florian Thauvin, 8x 118 OVR N’Golo Kanté, and 4,250 Star Shards for a 121 to 122 OVR France player. The England exchange takes 3x 120 OVR Cole Palmer, 6x 119 OVR Bukayo Saka, and 3,250 Star Shards for a 121 to 122 OVR England player.

Level 3 PlayStyles: Zidane and Beckenbauer
The Ballon d’Or event introduces Level 3 PlayStyles, which deliver stronger effects than lower levels of the same PlayStyle. Zinedine Zidane, a 124 OVR CM based on his 1998 Ballon d’Or win, has Level 3 Power Shot, which speeds up the kicking animation, lowers the shot trajectory, and increases shot speed and accuracy. He is the top prize of Ballon d’Or Signature A, a grid of rewards in which each reward can only be claimed once. The first attempt is free, later attempts cost FC Points, and Signature A closes at the end of October.
Franz Beckenbauer is a 124 OVR CB with Level 3 Guardian, which makes hard tackles faster, longer in range, and more likely to succeed, and can cause opponents to stumble or fall. He appears in Ballon d’Or Draft B and is tradeable on the market. With several routes to him, he is the more realistic target for most players.

The Ballon d’Or Draft and Badges
The Ballon d’Or Draft costs one FC Draft Voucher per draft, or ten vouchers for a set of ten, and each pool stays open for about a week. Draft A opened on October 22, led by 124 OVR Ronaldo Nazário, 123 OVR Shevchenko, and 122 OVR Franco Baresi. Draft B opened on October 25 with 124 OVR Beckenbauer, 123 OVR Erling Haaland, and 122 OVR Declan Rice. Both drafts guarantee a Pool B or higher player within 10 drafts and a Pool A player within 70 drafts.
The event also includes a Ballon d’Or Badge with five upgrade levels, starting with Volley +3 and reaching Team OVR +1 and Curve +15 at Level 5. A separate Groups Badge activates when you collect 124 OVR Beckenbauer, 123 OVR Haaland, and 122 OVR Baresi, granting Long Passing +10, Positioning +10, and Balance +10 along with 20,000,000 Coins.

Star Pass and Event Quests
The Ballon d’Or Star Pass runs for the length of the event, and you earn credits through event activities and Division Rivals, up to a daily limit of 1,250 credits. The premium reward at Level 35 is Ousmane Dembélé, the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner, as a 122 OVR striker at Rank Up Level 5, which shows as 127 OVR. The Premium Star Pass Ticket includes 10 FC Draft Vouchers and a Ballon d’Or user logo for the Locker Room, while the bundle version adds 7,500 Star Pass Credits and 20 percent bonus credits.
The event quests reward activities you will be doing anyway:
- Earn 1,000 Ballon d’Or Tokens for 600 Gems
- Purchase 1 player in Star Signings for 600 Gems
- Reveal 15 nominees in the Nominees chapter for 600 Gems
- Win 20 Division Rivals matches for an FC Draft Voucher
- Exchange tokens for 8 rewards in the Reward chapter for an FC Draft Voucher
- Log in 10 times for 200 Rank Up Points
- Complete all quests for an FC Draft Voucher and 200 Rank Up Points

Tips to Get the Most Out of the Event
Build each day’s Division Rivals squad around the featured Nominees leagues so the same matches progress nominee reveals, the 20 wins quest, and your Star Pass. Game Plans, added in the FC Mobile 27 season update, work in Division Rivals head to head, so an attacking plan helps on days you need extra goals.
Claim the two daily Ad Reward packs, and protect your Star Shards, since Star Signings, portraits, and every exchange draw on them. With Draft Vouchers, the guarantee counter means ten vouchers always secure at least one Pool B player, so it can be worth saving them until a pool contains a player you actually want.

The FC Mobile 27 Ballon d’Or event rewards players who treat it as a four week project. The Nominees and Criteria chapters supply steady tokens, the Ballon d’Or Store turns them into Coins, Rank Up Points, Draft Vouchers, and a 124 OVR Bobby Moore, and the exchanges, drafts, and Star Pass offer several routes to high rated players, including the Level 3 PlayStyle cards Zidane and Beckenbauer. Focus on league themed goals, spend Star Shards carefully, and check back after every weekly reset. For the best gaming experience, play EA SPORTS FC Mobile on BlueStacks!
