Whiteout Survival Halloween 2025 Update: New Experts, Pumpkin Invasion, and more events

The snow-covered world of Whiteout Survival is going to be lit up with scary pumpkins and ornaments as the festival of Halloween is right around the corner. The developers have a special update lined up that is slated to release on 29th October, 2025. This year’s Halloween update is packed with fun activities, new experts, and limited-time treasures that will keep every governor busy collecting candy and facing the Nightmare Pumpkin King. Let’s take a closer look at everything this update has to offer.
The Pumpkin Invasion – Fight Back Against the Pumpkin Fiends
The main highlight of the Halloween celebration is the Pumpkin Invasion, a limited-time event where mutant pumpkins created by a mad scientist begin wreaking havoc across the tundra. To stop them, you’ll need to gather “Peculiar Flavored Candy”, an event-exclusive item that powers your attacks against these twisted creatures. Each piece of candy you use lets you attack a Pumpkin Fiend and earn rewards from Pumpkin Hunter’s Chests.
Every defeated fiend grants two Treasure Points and a chance to summon the Nightmare Pumpkin King, a rare boss who can drop special Nightmare Nemesis Chests and the grand Pumpkin King’s Treasure. The Pumpkin King doesn’t go down easily though. It’s a tricky foe that tries to flee when attacked, and you’ll need multiple hits to earn the best rewards.

The more hits you land, the higher your chances of claiming the grand prize. Sometimes, you’ll be blessed with Luck Strikes, allowing you to attack without using up candy for a few rounds. Every attack also earns two Hunter Points, which help you climb the event leaderboard. When the event ends, any leftover Peculiar Flavored Candy will automatically convert into Secured Resource Supply Chests, so nothing goes to waste.
All Halloween Events in Whiteout Survival
Like we mentioned before, this special update won’t let you go off without scares! And by scares, we mean juicy rewards. A ton of Halloween-themed events are slated to go live with the update. Check out all of them!
1) Spooky Gathering Event
As you fight off Pumpkin Fiends, you’ll automatically earn points for the Spooky Gathering event. The more points you collect, the more rewards you unlock. It’s a progression system that rewards consistent participation in the Halloween festivities. This event also features 2 limited-time premium passes – Ghoul Baron and Scarlet Count, which are available for purchase via in-game microtransactions. These unlock even more exclusive rewards throughout the event.

2) King of Phantoms Event
For governors who enjoy friendly competition, the King of Phantoms is the perfect stage to show their dominance. This seven-day challenge tests your strength and strategy across different categories each day. The stages include Power Boost, Beast Slay, Hero Development, Troop Training, Hero Gear, Resource Gathering, and Chief Gear. Each stage lasts one day, and you can earn points by completing the listed objectives.

At the end of each day, players receive Stage Ranking Rewards based on their performance. When all stages are over, the total ranking rewards are distributed to the top participants. It’s a great opportunity to show off your growth and teamwork while earning plenty of spooky loot.
3) Halloween Tune Event
The Halloween Tune event brings a fresh twist to the usual mission system. Players can complete daily and special Halloween-themed tasks to earn rewards and progress across a challenge board. Finishing a full horizontal or vertical line grants a Stage Chest, while clearing the entire board unlocks the special Phantom Fortune reward. This event requires consistent participation, and just like others, unclaimed rewards will automatically arrive in your mailbox once it ends.

4) Sugar Storm Event
Halloween can’t be called complete without a shower of sweets! During the Sugar Storm event, a freight plane carrying Peculiar Flavored Candy loses its cargo, causing candy to scatter across the tundra. You can collect this candy while slaying beasts, gathering resources, spending gems, or using Speedups. The event also features a charming side activity called Trick or Treat that offers even more generous rewards.

Deep within the forest, three mysterious houses are guarded by Candy Witches of different levels. Knocking on their doors will earn you rewards, and the higher the witch’s level, the better the treat. You can visit the witches in your own city once a day and witches in other cities twice daily. The witch locations refresh every day at midnight, so there’s always something new to find.
5) Fantasy Disguise Event
Bring the spirit of Halloween to your settlement with the Fantasy Disguise feature. Using a Disguise Wand, you can turn your city or even another player’s city into a massive glowing pumpkin. Some transformations even have rare, unique looks that make your city stand out. If you prefer to return your city to normal, use a Magician’s Cloak, which not only removes the disguise but also protects your city from being disguised again for a set time.

6) Kaisa’s Wish House Event
Starting on October 30, Kasia’s Wish House opens its doors for five days of special wishing and rewards. You can earn Wish Vouchers by completing commissions or purchasing event packs, then use them to make wishes and collect exclusive items. Every wish gives Wish Points, which build up progress toward milestone rewards.

Once you have enough points, you can perform a Sincere Wish, which guarantees a top-tier Mythic Corner Prize. You’ll also earn Dream Marks with every wish, which can be exchanged in Kasia’s Shop for even more prizes.
New Experts – Baldur and Fabian
Outside the Halloween festivities, two new experts join the game to help you strengthen your city and alliances. Here’s a brief description for each of them:

Baldur – A diplomat from the Dawn Alliance that brings strategic and diplomatic advantages that help your alliance flourish in non-combat scenarios. His calm intelligence ensures your group always gains the upper hand during negotiations.
Fabian – Known as the Master of Arms, was once an Imperial engineer whose advanced weapon designs turned the tide of battle. After joining the Rebels, he became a legend for his mechanical expertise and battlefield innovations.
Both experts can be encountered during Tundra Treks starting October 27, provided your server meets the event’s requirements.
Players can enjoy playing Whiteout Survival on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
