Cube Escape: Paradox feels like a strange little locked-room thriller where a detective named Dale wakes up with no memory and everything in the room wants to be inspected. The player pokes at drawers, turns knobs that should not move, scribbles down odd symbols, then realizes those symbols matter three puzzles later. It is point and click, but not mindless. The logic walks a line between sensible and surreal, so paying attention to tiny details really pays off. It is the tenth Cube Escape and it digs deeper into the Rusty Lake lore. What stands out is the crossover with the Paradox short film.
