About the Game
unWorded is a narrative Puzzle game where letters aren’t just text—they’re building blocks. You’ll arrange characters and punctuation into recognizable shapes to unlock memories from a writer recovering after a serious accident. It’s thoughtful, quiet, and a little surreal, asking you to look twice at everything on the screen.
Game Features
- Letters Become Objects: Drag and combine letters and symbols to form silhouettes—an umbrella, a bird, a clock—and open the next part of the story.
- A Mind in Pieces: Explore scenes from inside the writer’s thoughts as someone reads his own tales at the bedside, each puzzle revealing another fragment of who he was.
- Five Book Structure: Progress through five “books” that chart key moments from the past, each chapter adding new twists and visual ideas.
- Poetic Pacing: The narrative leans into emotion and memory—grief, hope, acceptance—without shouting, letting the puzzles do the talking.
- Minimalist Look, Big Mood: Clean, typography-led visuals and restrained sound design keep the focus on discovery and those satisfying aha moments.
- Simple to Pick Up: Intuitive drag-and-place mechanics mean you can experiment freely, reshaping letters until the image clicks into place.
- Rethink the Obvious: Clues hide in plain sight—titles, hints in the text, even the way a letter curves—rewarding curiosity and playful thinking.
- Optional Big-Screen Play: Looks great and feels precise with a mouse on BlueStacks if you want a larger canvas for building shapes.
