DEFA is your remote control for comfort and peace of mind—whether you’re looking after your car or your cabin. From pre-heating your vehicle to checking temperatures and alarms at home, it brings everything into one simple app. It’s a Tools app by DEFA AS, designed to work locally over Bluetooth or from anywhere with supported DEFA hardware.
App Features
- Vehicle WarmUp control: Switch the engine and cabin heater on or off, right now or on a schedule. The system can also pre-heat automatically based on outside temperature or your set times.
- Smart timers and routines: Set timers for those early mornings or late returns so your car’s ready when you are—no fiddling when you’re in a rush.
- Power and cable status: See if the mains cable is connected, so you know the heater can actually do its job.
- Battery and temperature monitoring: Keep an eye on battery voltage plus inside and outside temps with supported hubs, and get alerts if the battery drops too low.
- GPS Link safety and tracking: Get notified if your vehicle is moved, started, or breaks your chosen speed limit. You can also check its location on a map whenever you want.
- Bluetooth Hub, no fuss: Control WarmUp locally over Bluetooth on supported phones—fast, direct, and no subscription needed.
- Home and cabin control (Base Unit PRO/DIY): Manage heating in up to six zones with independent modes (manual, thermostat, or regulator). Arm or disarm the burglar alarm, control Nobø thermostats, and view the local weather at a glance.
- Reliable alerts: Get notifications to your phone and, if you choose, by email for things like power outages, temperature changes, and alarms. You can also connect wireless burglar and smoke detectors.
- Subscriptions and hardware: Link Hub and Base Unit products require a subscription; the Bluetooth Hub doesn’t. All features require compatible DEFA hardware to be installed.
