BLEACH: Soul Resonance is a brand-new ARPG that puts a strong emphasis on team-building for different PvE and adventure game modes. At the time of global launch, there are only a handful of characters, so it’s easier to craft meta teams. In this guide, we have listed some of the strongest characters in the game, explaining the utility they provide to any team. For advanced players, we have also listed some of the best teams to use. Check them out below!

Best Characters to Use in BLEACH: Soul Resonance

  • Ichigo Kurosaki (Bankai) – Ichigo Bankai is a monster of a unit with some of the fastest and hardest hitting combos in the game. His Getsuga Marks let him teleport across the field and stick to enemies. Once he activates his Hollowfication Mode, he gains new skills, higher damage, and automatic counterattacks, turning him into a full battlefield sweeper.
  • Kisuke Urahara – Easily the best support in the game. Kisuke brings enormous buffs that stack quickly and apply to the entire team. His Reishi Analysis gives everyone a sizeable attack boost, and his ultimate skyrockets the team’s crit damage. He doesn’t deal the best damage himself, but he makes your other characters dramatically stronger.
  • Kaname Tosen – Tosen excels as either a main or secondary DPS. His mobility lets him weave in and out of combat and his Wound stacks deal great damage over time. His ultimate resets cooldowns which lets him maintain an aggressive rotation.
  • Yoruichi Shihoin – With lightning-fast combos, Yoruichi feels incredible to play. She charges Spiritual Pressure quickly and unleashes devastating finishers. Her Shunko Form boosts her speed and damage, making her one of the best duelists in the game.
  • Ikkaku Madarame – Ikkaku specializes in deleting groups of enemies with huge AoE attacks. He pairs especially well with Tosen since both benefit from Wound and Thrust damage. His Bankai form boosts his range, attack, and gives him a finishing nuke that melts bosses.

Best Teams to Build and Use in BLEACH: Soul Resonance

Building a team in BLEACH: Soul Resonance is a highly personalized choice since not all players will have the same characters. It can vary by character availability, use cases, and playstyle choices. Since BLEACH: Soul Resonance does not have a PvP game mode at the time of global launch, we will only be including teams and synergies that work in PvE environments. Here are best meta teams to use in BLEACH: Soul Resonance:

  • Slash Meta Team

  • Ichigo Kurosaki Bankai (DPS)
  • Kisuke Urahara (Support)
  • Byakuya Kuchiki (Secondary DPS)

This is one of the most consistent and high-damage PvE setups. Ichigo handles aggressive frontline damage, Byakuya adds powerful off-field and switch-in skills, and Kisuke supplies constant crit and attack buffs that supercharge both of them. You get speed, flexibility, and immense damage without needing a healer or tank.

  • Crowd-Control F2P Friendly Team

  • Rukia Kuchiki (Control)
  • Nemu Kurotsuchi (Burst DPS)
  • Renji Abarai (AoE DPS)

If you’re struggling with mob-heavy campaign stages, this team works wonderfully. Rukia keeps enemies frozen and slowed, setting Nemu up for heavy burst windows. Renji clears groups quickly with large sweeping attacks. This setup is great for wave stages, resource farming, and daily challenges.

  • Beginner-Friendly Starter Team

  • Ichigo Kurosaki (Shikai)
  • Uryu Ishida (DPS)
  • Chad (Defensive Utility)

For new players, this trio offers stability and smooth progression. Ichigo Shikai acts as a frontline damage source, Uryu covers ranged multi-target DPS, and Chad fills the defensive gap early campaign teams usually struggle with. Easy to build and reliable for early to mid-game content.
