Brawlhalla Combos Guide for All Weapons

The best way to master combos in Brawlhalla is to dive straight into the action. Practice is not a chore here because the practice itself is playing. You get to experience the satisfaction of linking your attacks together in training mode until they feel like second nature. If you are the type of player who likes to gather information before jumping into the arena, you are in the right place. This guide breaks down the essential mechanics of Brawlhalla combos and offers tips to help your practice sessions succeed.

Choose Weapons over Characters when Mastering Brawlhalla Combos
Brawlhalla stands out from other platform fighters like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate because of its heavy focus on weapons. In other games, you pick a fighter and learn their specific moves. In Brawlhalla, you actually need to focus on the weapon types.
The game features 14 different weapons, and most combos are tied to these weapons rather than the individual legends. Every character uses two specific weapons from the roster. While unique Signature Attacks vary by character, they are typically heavy moves that launch opponents far away, making them better suited as combo finishers than openers. Here is a complete list of all the available weapons in Brawlhalla:

- Hammer
- Sword
- Blasters
- Rocket Lance
- Spear
- Katars
- Axe
- Bow
- Gauntlets
- Scythe
- Cannon
- Orb
- Greatsword
- Battle Boots
How to Use Combos in Brawlhalla?
To use combos discovered by the community, you need to understand the shorthand notations. These abbreviations make it easy to read long strings of attacks. Light attacks on the ground are labeled as nLight for neutral, sLight for side, and dLight for down. In the air, these become nAir, sAir, and dAir. Recovery moves, which act like vertical uppercuts, are noted as Rec, while the heavy downward strike in the air is known as a Ground Pound or GP.
Signature attacks are your character specific heavy moves, labeled as Sigs. Gravity Cancels are shortened to GC. If you see a small e before an attack, it means you should trigger that move toward the end of the previous attack’s animation to ensure the connection.
