S Tier Characters
Let’s take a look at all of the characters in this tier:
Dream Witch

Dream Witch is a Hunter type character in Identity V that uses Pickaxe as her weapon. Her ability Leech states that players can hold the button to select a Survivor without a Leeching Follower, and spawn a Witch Mark and a Follower at a selected location nearby. The ability’s cooldown decreases by 40% when other Followers besides the host’s Followers hit a Survivor.
Cheerleader

Cheerleader is a Survivor type character in Identity V that uses Pompoms as her tool. Her external trait Motivate states that the Cheerleader carries her pompoms around. Tap the button to wave her pompoms and cheer herself up, increasing her Movement Speed by 70% for 4 seconds, but her Movement Speed will subsequently decrease by 35% for 3.5 seconds. The Movement Speed reduction from Motivate can be removed by a new Movement Speed boost from Motivate.
Forward

Forward is a Survivor type character in Identity V that uses Rugby Ball as his tool. His external trait Rush states that the Forward carries around a Football. He dashes forward with his Football, but will be stunned when exhausted. The Forward’s superior physique enables him to knock the Hunter off balance after dashing a short distance. If the Hunter is knocked into other objects, they will be stunned for a longer period of time.
Sculptor

Sculptor is a Hunter type character in Identity V that uses Hunting Chisel as her weapon. Her ability Sculpture of Agility states that Galatea summons a pair of sculptures one in front of another at the target location.
The Breaking Wheel

The Breaking Wheel is a Hunter type character in Identity V that uses the Broken Execution Wheel as his weapon. His ability Reticent states that in human form, he hurls a nail board toward a specified location. Survivors who step on the nail board will have their Movement Speed reduced by 60% for 2 seconds. If a Survivor who steps on the nail board is stacked with Pierce, they will be confined for 2 seconds instead. The nail board will stay on the field for 8 seconds.
A Tier Characters
Let’s take a look at all of the characters in this tier:
Matador

Matador is a Survivor type character in Identity V that uses Muleta as his tool. His external trait Mulleta Mastery states that the Matador swings his Muleta, instantly dashing to a targeted location within 6 meters. Upon arrival, he cleaves in a circular area with a radius of 2.25 meters for 0.6 seconds, becoming immune to most damage and control effects. If the cleave hits the Hunter, Matador dashes another 10 meters in front, knocking back the Hunter and slowing them by 50% for 2.5 seconds.
The Disciple

The Disciple is a Hunter type character in Identity V that uses Wooden Pike Cat as her weapon. Her ability Swoop states that Ann sends her cat rushing in the desired direction. Tapping the ability button again causes the Cat to split in two and run in different directions. The Cat will divide automatically after 5 seconds. Following the split, the Cat will exist for ten seconds.
Tapping the ability button three times allows the Cat to intimidate Survivors. Survivors who are intimidated in the Paralysis Area will be unable to decipher, heal, or utilize items for ten seconds. Afterward, the Cat will return to the shadows due to tiredness, and the ability will go into cooldown.
Mercenary

Mercenary is a Survivor type character in Identity V that uses Elbow Pads as his tool. His external trait Iron Dash states that Mercenary has elbow pads that activate an upward Dash Hit boost when he propels himself off a passing wall. Players can toggle it “On” or “Off”, and running over a wall when in “On” will result in a Dash Hit.
Faro Lady

Faro Lady is a Survivor type character in Identity V that uses Aromatherapy Cane as his tool. Her external trait Cloak states that when she gets within 18 meters of the Hunter, she cloaks herself, increasing own exposure by 6.25% per second. Moving away from the Hunter lowers exposure by 5% per second. However, moving away with more than 40% Exposure will notify the Hunter.
Doctor

Doctor is a Survivor type character in Identity V that uses Syringe as her tool. Her external trait Med Master states that the Doctor can immediately treat fatal wounds. Whenever she uses the Syringe to heal herself, her Fear is lowered by 25%, the time necessary for Self-healing is cut in half, and Self-healing Progress is not lost when she takes damage.
B Tier Characters
Let’s look at all of the characters in this tier:
Painter

Painter is a Survivor type character in Identity V that uses Paintbrushes Canvas as his tool. His external trait Artistic Sensitivity states that the Painter has a paintbrush and a drawing board with him. Once the Painter has remembered a Hunter’s face, he can paint it on the drawing board. When the painting is finished, he can place the drawing board into the scene. When the Hunter notices the placed drawing board, they will be drawn to it, walk over involuntarily, and pause to admire their face in front of it.
Archer

Archer is a Survivor type character in Identity V that uses Keel Bow & Concealed Crossbow as her tool. Her external trait Keel Bow states that he wields a bow made from the keel of a sunken ship. Hold to draw the bow and send a powerful arrow in a chosen direction. Drawing the bow decreases movement speed by 10%. When the arrow strikes the Hunter, their efforts are briefly disrupted and they are injured with Laceration. An arrow can strike the Hunter’s core within a set range. A typical hit deals 50 Laceration Damage, but a hit to the Hunter’s core causes 100 Laceration Damage.
Photographer

Photographer is a Hunter type character in Identity V that uses Saber as his weapon. His ability Time Jump states that the Hunter records the last 15 seconds in time as he moves. Return to your desired point in time by holding down the skill button for the corresponding number of seconds.
