Lost Sword is an anime idle RPG from Wemade Connect where you build a squad of five characters and let them fight through campaign stages, towers and dungeons automatically. How This Tier List Works

Every character has a rarity of 3, 4 or 5 stars, an element, and a class of Knight, Archer, Wizard or Healer. Rarity sets the level ceiling, with 5 star units reaching level 200 against 120 for lower rarities, which is largely why the upper tiers are dominated by 5 star characters. These rankings reflect widely held community consensus on late game PvE performance rather than an official in game ranking.

Characters are judged by the role they fill, and several strong units cover more than one. Those flexible characters rank highest because they free a slot for someone else.

• DPS – units whose main job is dealing damage, both melee and ranged
• Support – buffers, debuffers and crowd control units that amplify the team
• Healer – units that keep the party alive through healing and shields
• Tank – units that absorb enemy damage on behalf of the team

These five tiers rank the best 25 characters against each other, so even D tier sits well above the majority of the roster.

Element Advantages Explained

Attacking with an element advantage deals 30 percent more damage, while attacking into a disadvantage deals 30 percent less. Six elements form a loop, and Holy sits at the centre of the wheel on its own. Matching your team to a stage is often worth more than several levels of investment.

S Tier – Team Defining Characters

These five sit at the top of community consensus in more than one role at once, which makes them the safest possible investment.

Flame Kay

A 5 star Holy Knight and the alternate form of Kay from the first anniversary update. She is rated top tier as a damage dealer, support and tank at once, which no other character manages. Her kit keeps burn running almost permanently, shields the team and shreds enemy critical resistance.

Lueira

A 5 star Frost Healer who is effectively three units in one, rated at the top as damage dealer, support and healer. Her kit scales off HP and revolves around shields, and while a shield is active her basic attacks hit every enemy on the field.

Morgan le Fay

A 5 star Holy Wizard who works as both a carry and the best team amplifier in the game. She grants cooldown reduction, applies damage marks that scale against high health bosses, raises additional damage and cuts enemy critical resistance. Teams built around her clear noticeably faster.

Galahad

A 5 star Radiance Knight and the definitive front line tank. Her ultimate grants the whole team damage immunity for a short window, answering boss burst phases that would otherwise end a run. She also buffs Archer and Wizard attack, but should never be built as a damage dealer.

Belsey

A 5 star Fire Knight, listed in community guides as Cowqueen Belsey. She is rated top tier as a tank, close to it as a support, and still usable as a damage dealer. Her kit pairs a straight damage increase with stun and a defence reduction debuff.

A Tier – Elite Specialists

These characters hold the highest rating in a single role rather than several. They belong in your team as soon as you pull them.

Clarisse

A 5 star Fire Knight and the highest rated pure damage dealer. Her skills are amplified during the first half of a fight, giving her huge front loaded damage that suits shorter engagements. She demands heavy investment, and an under built Clarisse contributes little once that window closes.

Erin

A 5 star Radiance Wizard and one of the most complete supports available. She stacks shields, additional damage, attack increases and damage reduction on the team while lowering enemy attack. Community guides list her as a direct alternative to Lueira in the standard beginner core.

NEO Bedivere

A 5 star Holy Archer and the upgraded form of the 4 star Bedivere. Rated top tier as a support and just below that as a healer, she covers crowd control immunity, lifesteal and healing alongside a critical rate buff and a root effect.

Maid Rita

A 5 star Fire Healer and the best rated dedicated healer in PvE. Her value comes less from healing output than from raising team critical resistance and cutting incoming damage, which prevents the burst spikes that end runs. She is not the same character as the 3 star Rita.

Dian Cecht

A 5 star Radiance Healer rated highly as both support and healer. She provides healing over time, shields and damage reduction, then adds critical damage and a melee attack buff specific to Knights. She is the standard pick for any team built around Knight damage.

B Tier – Premier Support Core

This group covers the strongest supports and utility picks below the elite bracket, and several of them cover two roles.

Ria

A 5 star Fire Healer rated strongly as both healer and support. Her kit is built on attack and critical damage buffs, and she has returned to prominence precisely because she supports attack scaling damage dealers so well. She fits naturally into archer focused teams.

Isabel

A 5 star Frost Archer rated highly as both a support and a tank while still working as a damage dealer. Her kit grants the party hit count immunity and reduces outgoing enemy damage, which lets a ranged character genuinely hold the front line.

Estheria

A 5 star Chaos Wizard whose standing rises and falls with the meta but currently sits high as a support. She brings a strong magic attack passive, an attack buff and additional damage, plus a reliable fear debuff. She pairs especially well with Morgan le Fay.

Merlin

A 5 star Holy Wizard and a long standing support staple. She raises party critical rate, reduces enemy defence and applies freeze. Her rating has softened as NEO Bedivere covers similar ground with added survivability, but her freeze control keeps her in crit stacking teams.

Claire

A 5 star Radiance Knight who works as a defensive support rather than a front line fighter. She heals, buffs party attack, applies stun and grants fear resistance. Her stun is valued for interrupting enemy teams before they can land an opening burst.

C Tier – Core Damage and Sustain

These are the strongest remaining damage dealers and healers, each excellent within their specific job.

Agravaine

A 5 star Chaos Archer built for sustained damage across longer fights rather than opening burst. She deals more damage to bosses, and specifically to enemies carrying high damage reduction or shields, which counters the defensive kits common in later stages.

Lisa

A 5 star Chaos Archer with one of the fastest ultimates in the game and heavy damage for the cast time. She is fragile and performs best alongside an enabler, with Morgana commonly paired to strip enemy defensive buffs before she commits.

Nesha

A 5 star Radiance Archer focused on sustained damage through her attacks and passive rather than one large hit. That steady profile makes her dependable in long fights where burst characters run out of window, and she needs less setup than most archers.

Guinevere

A 5 star Frost Healer with the most complete emergency kit of any healer. She can revive a fallen ally, applies healing over time, cleanses debuffs, raises critical resistance and grants burn resistance. The revive alone justifies a slot in punishing stages.

Isolde

A 5 star Nature Healer who prevents damage rather than recovering from it. Her kit cuts incoming damage across the party and grants shock resistance, making her a targeted pick for stages built around Shock enemies.

D Tier – Strong Situational Picks

The last five need the right team or the right investment, but all of them are worth building.

Percival

A 5 star Frost Knight and a purely defensive tank. She casts party wide shields, raises defence and lowers enemy attack, and her rating rose because her second shield casts quickly enough to blunt an opening attack. She adds no offensive pressure.

Palamedes

A 5 star Nature Knight and a melee damage dealer who ranked among the strongest units before newer releases arrived. She benefits heavily from consistent stun, so she wants a crowd control partner such as Belsey, and typically needs two separate gear sets.

Lohengrin

A 5 star Chaos Knight whose kit includes a summon and a cheat death effect that survives a killing blow. Recent buffs brought her damage roughly in line with Palamedes while keeping her in a safer position. Her ultimate also casts with no delay.

Lancelot

A 5 star Radiance Knight rated equally as damage dealer and tank, with a cooldown reset at the centre of her kit. She was previously a top tier carry and has slipped only because newer characters reach similar output for far less investment.

Lumi

A 5 star Shock Knight rated identically as damage dealer and support, making her one of the more flexible options outside the top tiers. She applies Shock, which enables other Shock scaling units, and works well as a Knight support.

The strongest approach in Lost Sword is to pick a small core and invest in it properly rather than spreading resources thin across a wide roster. Lueira, Morgan le Fay and Flame Kay form the most commonly recommended starting trio, and any S or A tier character will carry you a long way.
