Umamusume Pretty Derby Tier List – Best Characters to Train and Use

Umamusume: Pretty Derby now has more than 100 playable Trainee variants on the Global server. Each has her own surface, distance and running style aptitudes, which decide where she can compete in Career mode, Team Trials and Champions Meeting. Since Carats and training time are limited, it helps to know which Trainees give the best return. This tier list ranks 30 Trainees across six tiers based on their all-round value on Global. Outfit versions are named in brackets, because two versions of the same character can sit in very different tiers.
How This Tier List Works
The rankings reflect overall value in the current Global meta, during the Our Grand Concert Career scenario. Trainees within the same tier are not ordered from strongest to weakest. The two plus tiers mark Trainees that also sit at the very top of specific Team Trials distance categories.
S+ Tier: top overall Trainees that are also top picks in two Team Trials distances.
S Tier: top overall Trainees that lead in one distance or surface.
A+ Tier: strong Trainees that top at least one Team Trials distance.
A Tier: dependable Trainees, several of them very easy to train.
B Tier: usable Trainees that have stronger alternatives or need more inheritance support.
C Tier: niche Trainees best kept for specific builds or favorites.
