RAID: Shadow Legends is back with its classic fusion event which tempts the players to get their hands on the newest offering that Plarium has in store for them. RAID: Shadow Legends is a free-to-play title, available on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. The game is notorious for its over-the-top advertisements and collaborations with big names in the industry. It also holds these fusion events on a regular basis every month to keep the players interested and engaged in playing the game. Fusion events also give all types of players a chance of acquiring a legendary grade champion completely free. Before we start the guide for the Lonatharil fusion event, we must say that the event has already started on 4th August 2022 and ends on 21st August 2022.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Lonatharil Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

In traditional fusion events, players will need to get the rare champions required for the fusion from the different events and tournaments lined up. However, in this classic fusion event, players can directly get the fragments for the 4 Epic champions from different events and tournaments. The players will then have to level and upgrade the Epic champions Level 50 at 5 Stars to fuse Lonatharil. This will be an in-depth guide on the various ways available for players to obtain the different rare champions and fuse the legendary champion for August 2022 – Lonatharil.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Lonatharil Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

During this Fusion event, Plarium provides fragments of 4 Epic champions in multiple Events and Tournaments at certain point requirements. In some events and tournaments, even 2 fragments can be found of different Epic champions. Players will then have to manually level and ascend them to 5 stars level 50 to Fuse Lonatharil. Keep in mind that these events and tournaments will take a lot of your time if you’re going to manually play the game since Plarium only provides 30 instances of Auto-Battles per day. But don’t worry, you can easily bypass the hard grinding by simply using the BlueStacks macro recorder to record your runs and keep re-running it.

Lonatharil Champion Skills

Lonatharil is a legendary grade Force affinity champion from the High Elves faction. He is listed as an HP-type champion and all his skills damage scales according to his max Health stat. Lonatharil has an average base HP of 23,130 at the max level. His decreased MAX HP skill can be useful for the Scarab King boss in the Doom Tower. However, his average use of content seems to be quite useless compared to similar champions.

Lonatharil Fusion Event Guide

Lonatharil is a traditional fusion where players need to fuse him by having 4 epic champions at level 50 and ascending fully. As per the tradition of classic fusions, players will require 4 epic champions to be able to fuse Lonatharil. This time the 4 champions that are required for the fusion are all different from each other which is a welcome change as it provides a chance for players who are not interested in the fusion to still be able to get these Epic champions.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Lonatharil Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Players can find the Epic champion fragments in various Events and Tournaments and they can be collected by reaching certain milestones them. Pretty simple, right? It is simple; however, we will give a detailed guide on how to manage your resources to obtain enough resources to fuse them. Let’s see who the new Epic champions required for fusing Lonatharil are: –

  • Carlinia (Spirit Affinity)
  • Wuji (Force Affinity)
  • Anchorite (Spirit Affinity)
  • Yelagirna (Spirit Affinity)

RAID: Shadow Legends – Lonatharil Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

We will now list the various events and tournaments through which you will be able to obtain fragments of these new champions.

Here is the list: –

  • Spider Tournament (August 4th – 7th)
  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 1 (August 4th – 7th)
  • Champion Chase Tournament (August 5th – 8th)
  • Champion Training Tournament (August 5th – 9th)
  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 1 (August 6th – 9th)
  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 1 (August 6th – 9th)
  • Dragon Tournament (August 8th – 11th)
  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 2 (August 10th – 14th)
  • Champion Training Event (August 11th – 16th)
  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 2 (August 11th – 14th)
  • Summon Rush Tournament (August 12th – 15th)
  • Ice Golem Tournament (August 12th – 15th)
  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 2 (August 12th – 15th)
  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 3 (August 15th – 19th)
  • Fire Knight Tournament (August 16th – 19th)
  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 3 (August 16th – 19th)

Preparation for these Events and Tournaments

As we can see from the timings of these Events and Tournaments presented by Plarium that many of these collide with each other. If you are confused by what some of the terms mean or where some of the locations of the dungeons and events are, here is a helpful guide.  Now doing every event and tournament 1 by 1 will drain your resources very quickly, and you will be left with insufficient rare champions to fuse one copy of the Epic champion. You might need to spend gems to refill energy for completing the remaining events and tournaments.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Lonatharil Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

This is where efficient planning and using your resources judiciously comes in. Energy and Silver will be your 2 biggest resources, and if you have enough of these saved up, things will go more smoothly for you. But if you don’t have them stored don’t fret, we are here for you! Take a look at our preparation process for Lonatharil Fusion here: –

4th – 21st August 2022 –

  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 1: Carlinia Champion Fragments x 15/ Yelagirna Champion Fragments x 20 (Obtained at 1950/2850 Points)
  • Spider Tournament: Anchorite Champion Fragments x 20 (Obtained at 2250 Points)

One of the best combinations of any event and tournament is the dungeon divers’ event and any dungeon-related tournament. For the start of the Lonatharil fusion event, looks like players will be spending their day farming the Spiders dungeon to reap the benefits of getting points for both the tournament as well as the event. For clarification, in these tournaments and events, players earn points depending on the quality and quantity of artifacts obtained. In the Spider dungeon tournament, players get points for the tournament by simply obtaining artifacts by repeatedly farming this dungeon. We recommend players to farm Stage 20 of the dungeon for efficient use of energy. As the point milestone is set to 2250, a standard number for all dungeon-related tournaments, players will be able to get the fragments for Anchorite by farming Stage 20 of Spiders Den 200 times. This roughly equates to around 2250 energy in total.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Lonatharil Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Plarium usually does this intentionally to minimize the grinding time that is usually taken up if players had to complete both of them individually. Players can easily get points for both the event as well as the tournament if they just focus on farming Spider’s Dungeon. Players can also avail Super Raid for the Spider dungeon which lets players farm double the artifacts from a single dungeon run, costing double the energy as well. Players can simply checkmark the Super Raid option to start the grind. This halves the overall time to complete this event and tournament. For the remaining points in Dungeon Divers Event, players can focus on levelling up champions in the campaign mode as they also get points from the artifacts dropped there.

  • Champion Training Tournament: Anchorite Champion Fragments x 20/ Yelagirna Champion Fragments x 20 (Obtained at 3050/5150 Points)
  • Champion Chase Tournament: Carlinia Champion Fragments x 20/ Wuji Champion Fragments x 20 (Obtained at 1150/ 2500 Points)

Champion Training tournaments are your standard champion training events but in a tournament format. Players need to enhance and empower their champion in the tavern to obtain points for the tournament. Enhancements need to be only done on champions and not their gear/artifacts. Leveling up champions is one of the fastest and easiest ways to get points for champion chase tournaments. The higher the base rarity, the higher the points gained for leveling champions. Players can make use of their saved brews to level up champions faster and to get some quick points. Promoting and ascending champions are also some core ways in order to get more points for the tournament. Chickens are the best fodder to instantly promote any champion, provided that he/she is at max level and the chicken matches the base rarity. If push comes to shove, simply farm levels in the campaign mode to get more points for the tournament. This will also help you get points for the Dungeon Divers Event Part 1 in case you did not finish it already.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Lonatharil Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

The champion chase tournament is going to be the first summoning-based tournament for this fusion event. These tournaments are generally considered the best ones if you are going to be participating in this fusion event. Players are rewarded according to the rarity of the champion summoned instead of the rarity of shards being pulled. For this champion chase, Plarium also dropped a 2X Sacred Shard event where players will be having a double chance of obtaining a legendary champion from Sacred shards. The amount of points players get according to the rarity of champions is as follows:

  • Uncommon/Common Champion – 1 Point
  • Rare Champion – 10 Points
  • Epic Champion – 250 Points
  • Legendary Champion – 500 Points

If you have any fragments saved up for champion, you can summon those champions now to get massive points for the tournament. Champions obtained from all sources, including Marketplace, also count towards the total point score.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Lonatharil Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 1: Anchorite Champion Fragments x 20 (Obtained at 3300 Points)
  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 1: Yelagirna Champion Fragments x 15 (Obtained at 330 Points)

Artifact Enhancement events are simple but drain a lot of silver resources. We haven’t had a new fusion in a while so if you were clever, you should have enough resources by regularly using your energy daily. If you were not prepared, then you might have to spend your precious energy to farm silver coins for upgrading your equipment.

Here are a few tips to achieve those 2500 points: –

  1. You can pre-roll your artifacts till Lvl 7/11/15 and then simply spend silver to upgrade to the next level as you get points only after upgrading artifacts to LVL 4,8,12 and 16 with the highest points being given at 6-star LVL 16 artifact upgrades.
  2. You can level up 3 6-Star artifacts to level 16 to easily complete this event in a go
  3. Save up to roughly 6 million silver per artifact enhancement event, as this amount is roughly what it takes to complete these events.

However, if you have enough silver or artifacts upgraded to a certain level, then feel free to use them to complete this event. It also takes a lot of time because the general upgrading speed for artifacts is very slow, and it fails many times as well. However, if you use BlueStacks Eco mode, you can significantly speed up this process and save so much time!

RAID: Shadow Legends – Lonatharil Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Classic Arena Takedown tournaments require the players to participate in the Classic Arena game mode and emerge victorious among other players. It only gives points for the tournaments if you win and not for losses. The wins only count on the offensive and not defensive wins if an enemy loses to your Arena Defense. The target milestone to get champion fragments for Yelagirna is quite easy if you are in the higher leagues of Silver 1 or Gold 5. Players should just focus on easy wins and sure shot wins. Refresh the list of opponents if you feel you are up against tough opponents. Take your time and do not use your Gems to refresh the list.

  • Dragon Tournament: Yelagirna Champion Fragments x 20 (Obtained at X Points)
  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 2: Anchorite Champion Fragments x 20/ Wuji Champion Fragments x 15 (Obtained at X/X Points)

Dragon tournament requires the player to farm the dragon dungeon repeatedly and get those precious artifacts. Players get rewarded according to the rarity and quality of the artifacts raided from the dungeon. It is highly advised to farm Stage 20 of Dragon dungeon for the efficient energy per point ratio. Players can also farm Stage 25 for faster completion of the tournament but it is slightly inefficient due to the high energy requirement. Players can also enjoy Super Raid for the Dragon dungeon around the same time the tournament starts. The current milestone is not set but according to tradition, it is highly likely going to be at 2250 points.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Lonatharil Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Dungeon divers event part 2 is the second edition of this type of event. Players can simply farm the Dragon dungeon to get points for both the tournament and event. This will save your energy and time as well.

  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 2: Yelagirna Champion Fragments x 20 (Obtained at X Points)
  • Champion Training Event: Carlinia Champion Fragments x 20/ Anchorite Champion Fragments x 20/ Wuji Champion Fragments x 15 (Obtained at X/X/X Points)

Artifact Enhancement event is all about your Silver resources. Plarium really loves to drain your shiny silver ones in this event. Luckily for players, they can now save their time with the recent introduction of Instant Upgrade. One of the core ways to get more silver if you are running short is by simply selling artifacts that are not in use anymore. Players can select all the artifacts that are either outdated or unusable due to bad stats. This also gives your account a new polish and you never know if you might find just the right piece of artifact for your champions while cleaning your inventory.

Champion Training events are similar to Champion training tournaments but they are presented in an event format where you do not compete against other players. Players need to level up their champions, promote the ranks of their champions, and ascend their champions in order to get points for this event. Here are some of our tips and tricks to complete this event efficiently:

  1. Always remember to level up your chickens before using them to promote your champions.
  2. Do not waste brews to level up champions who are already at a high level as the efficiency of brews decreases drastically if used on high-level champions.
  3. Use Mystery shards to generate more fodder if you are out of low-rank champions.
  • Summon Rush Tournament: Carlinia Champion Fragments x 25/ Wuji Champion Fragments x 25 (Obtained at X/X Points)

Summon Rush tournament is very straightforward as well, the more you summon the more points you get. The quality of shards also hampers the number of points you get. The quality of champions, however, does not affect the number of points obtained in this event. Here are the points received depending on the quality of the shard: –

Mystery Shard: 1 Point

Ancient Shard: 20 Points

Void Shard: 100 Points

Sacred Shard: 500 Points

  • Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 2: Anchorite Champion Fragments x 15 (Obtained at X Points)
  • Ice Golem Tournament: Wuji Champion Fragments x 20 (Obtained at X Points)

Victories! Victories! Victories! That’s all you need in the Classic Arena to get points for the tournament. The number of points you obtain per victory and the milestone in the tournament depends entirely on your rank in the Arena. Players can easily complete this tournament just by using their daily arena tokens and the daily 5 tokens refresh from the quests. Make sure to choose the easy opponents and not waste your tokens on difficult enemies that have higher team power than you.

RAID: Shadow Legends – Lonatharil Legendary Champion Fusion Guide

Ice Golem tournament requires players to farm the Ice Golem dungeon repeatedly and obtain those juicy artifacts and reap the points for the tournament. Players can farm Stage 20 of the Ice Golem dungeon for the most optimal energy-to-point ratio.

  • Dungeon Divers Event Part 3: Carlinia Champion Fragments x 15/ Yelagirna Champion Fragments x 20 (Obtained at X/X Points)
  • Fire Knight Tournament:  Carlinia Champion Fragments x 20 (Obtained at X Points)

A treat for many players as some of the last tournaments and events are our favorite dungeon related event-tournament combo. We recommend players to farm Stage 20 of the Fire Knight dungeon at least 140 times to get to the supposed milestone of 2250 points. For the remainder of the points for Dungeon Divers Event Part 3, players can farm the campaign or any other dungeon.

  • Artifact Enhancement Event Part 3: Yelagirna Champion Fragments x 20 (Obtained at X Points)

You just love it when the last event turns out to be an even more resource-draining one. Thanks, Plarium for the added torture. By now, we hope you all got the drill. Sell artifacts for some extra silver if you haven’t. Upgrade artifacts if you haven’t to get points for the event. Also, check if you really need the fragments for Yelagirna. If not, you can simply skip this event.

Fusing Lonatharil

All this to get 4 copies of the new Epic champion Kinagashi which further will need to be at Level 40, 5-Star Promoted, and have their 5th Ascension unlocked. For all of these feats, the players will need the following potions and chickens:

Greater Affinity Potions: 20 Force, 60 Spirit

Superior Affinity Potions: 6 Force, 18 Spirit

  • 60 Greater Arcane Potions
  • 12 Superior Arcane Potions
  • 16 x 4-Star Chickens

For leveling champions, we recommend farming 12-3 brutal stage repeatedly or using your brews to level them.
