SS Tier Champions
SS units define the meta. They bring game-changing abilities like mass crowd control, free summon slots, economy buffs, or the highest damage numbers in the game. Every strong team is built around at least one of these. Let’s take a look at all of the champions in this tier:
Demon Leader (Control) [Secret]

Cuts deployment costs by 10% per chained unit and gives Demon Hunter allies a 30% damage boost. The strongest economy and synergy enabler in the game right now.
God (Above Heaven) [Secret]
Massive AoE burst wipes dense waves instantly, and his time-stop mechanic freezes all enemies in place. Both a carry and a safety net for your team.
Song Jinwu and Igros [Vanguard]
Summons shadow soldiers without using placement slots. The free frontline tanks endlessly and replenishes itself, making him one of the most efficient units in the entire game.
Gujo (Infinity) [Secret]
Domain expansion stuns and slows enemies across a wide area while keeping top-tier damage output. One of the strongest crowd control units available in Update 13.0.
Lich King (Ruler) [Vanguard]

Spawns durable shadow units that hold a near-permanent frontline. Frees up placement slots and cash for your main carry units in late-game stages.
Rogita (Super 4) [Vanguard]
Holds the highest single-target damage in Update 13.0 and deals explosion-based bonus damage on impact. The premier boss-killing unit in the current meta.
Ice Queen (Release) [Vanguard]
AoE freeze locks entire waves in position for extended periods. Works extremely well alongside heavy-hitting but slower DPS units that need extra attack time.
Alocard (Vampire King) [Vanguard]
Stacking bleed effects cover huge areas with consistent sustained damage. The go-to choice for multi-lane maps where burst alone is not enough.
S+ Tier Champions
S+ units are one step below SS but still handle the hardest end-game content with ease. Most of the best team compositions are built around one SS unit and two or three of these. Let’s take a look at all of the champions in this tier:
Demon Hybrid (Chainsaw) [Secret]

Damage output doubles when his meter fills, and bleed detonation creates massive burst windows. Needs Demon Leader to reach his full damage ceiling.
Demon Leader [Secret]
Reduces early deployment costs and passively buffs Demon Hybrid’s damage. Near-mandatory in any Demon Hunter team build to unlock the combo’s potential.
Brolzi Super (Wrathful) [Vanguard]
Crits stack self-damage buffs, and his AoE becomes enormous after full upgrades. Heavy investment is required, but the wave-clear payoff is massive.
Conqueror vs Invulnerable [Secret]
Hybrid damage type breaks through enemy armor reliably. Particularly strong against tanky, high-health enemies that appear in later story and boss stages.
Savior (Rebirth) [Vanguard]
Long-range burst deals devastating wave-clearing damage. Needs a solid early economy to reach his final upgrade tiers but pays off heavily once there.
Diablo (Renacimiento) [Secret]
High-scaling AoE combined with burn synergy punishes grouped enemies severely. A strong and consistent mid-to-late game anchor for most team setups.
Shinobi Sage (Friendship) [Secret]
Passive synergy buffs all allied shinobi units significantly. A dedicated ninja team with this unit becomes a serious late-game powerhouse after a few upgrades.
Skele King (Rock) [Mythic]

Buffs allied damage output while freezing and slowing nearby enemies simultaneously. Acts as a force multiplier for both survivability and total team DPS.
Divalo (Requiem) [Vanguard]
Strong AoE melts waves while slowing enemy movement speed, giving carry units extra attack windows during chaotic or fast-moving wave pushes.
Teacher (Final Stand) [Secret]
Gets significantly stronger as waves intensify and the situation gets critical. A great option for defending the final waves in legend and harder story stages.
Lord Friezo (Emperor) [Mythic]
Cross-map beam attacks deliver steady sustained damage from range throughout most stages. Consistent and reliable without needing specific team synergies around him.
Quetzalcoatl (Sun God) [Exclusive]
Exceptional anti-air coverage shuts down flying enemies with burn effects and reliable over-time damage. The best pick whenever airborne units are a problem.
S Tier Champions
S tier units are solid performers that round out boards well and handle most content confidently. They may need smart economy management or good positioning but rarely let a team down. Let’s look at all of the champions in this tier:
Iscanur (Pride) [Vanguard]

Burst damage melts high-health bosses, and burn scales well against grouped waves in most game modes.
Pink Villain (Celestial) [Secret]
Self-sustain holds lanes without extra support, blending offense and survivability into one flexible slot.
World Destroyer (Old) [Secret]
Wide shockwave attacks quickly clear weaker groups and provide solid physical AoE coverage through mid-game stages.
Hollowseph (Pure) [Exclusive]
Early burst transitions into AoE utility later. Versatile attack patterns keep him useful across multiple game modes.
Okorun (Turbo) [Exclusive]
Transformations adapt to bosses or wave-clearing roles, with fast attack speed delivering consistent damage pressure throughout.
Isdead (Romantic) [Secret]
Budget-friendly freeze and slow effects control wave momentum at a lower placement cost than premium stall units.
Agony Shinobi (Force) [Secret]
Great early-to-mid carry combining AoE damage with crowd control. Falls off against stronger late-game enemy formations.
Student (Enraged) [Secret]
Builds Rage into devastating temporary burst windows. Particularly effective for deleting bosses during their enraged attack phases.
Savior (Moonless) [Vanguard]

Range scaling covers wide sections of the map with consistent AoE pressure, though reaching full potential requires heavy gold investment.
Koguro (Unsealed) [Vanguard]
Rapid multi-hit attacks break shields and defenses effectively. Strong specifically against armored enemy types in mid-game content.
Renguko (Purgatory) [Exclusive]
Burn damage hits hard along chokepoints and high-traffic paths. Consistent DoT output rewards smart placement in wave-heavy stages.
Explosive Demon (Bomb) [Mythic]
Large explosions consistently hit grouped enemies, with late-game damage scaling that rewards full upgrade investment.
Cursed Shinobi (Black Flames) [Mythic]
Steady black flame effects weaken and chip down waves over time. Valuable in longer match types like Infinite and Boss Rush.
A Tier Champions
A tier units shine in specific setups or modes. They will not carry every situation alone, but with the right team support they handle most content without trouble. Let’s look at all of the champions in this tier:
Deceiver (Monster) [Secret]

Summons monsters to stall waves during the opening rounds, providing a strong early defensive start before main carries come online.
Horsegirls (Racers) [Secret]
Fast attacks and speed buffs make them efficient early defenders. Limited late-game scaling prevents them from competing with higher-tier units.
Igros (Elite Knight) [Secret]
Solid early physical damage output, but limited AoE gets quickly outclassed when wide-grouped waves start arriving in mid-game.
Astolfo (Rider of Black) [Secret]
Flexible positioning makes him a useful utility pick, though overall damage output trails most dedicated DPS options in the same tier.
Ice Manipulator (Admiral) [Mythic]
Effective slow on large open maps, but crowd control is weaker than premium stall units and depends heavily on map type.
Company Captain (Hybrid) [Secret]
Stable physical damage in early and mid-game stages, but lacks the late-game scaling to keep up with stronger carry units.
Armored Mage (Requip) [Secret]
Self-damage buffs activate when shifting position, but overall DPS is too low to compete with stronger AoE carries in late stages.
Elastic Captain (Pirate) [Vanguard]
A flexible Pirate carry that fits naturally into wave-clear roles inside a Pirate synergy team composition.
Fastest Shinobi (Flash) [Vanguard]

High-speed attacks add useful pressure and utility to ninja-focused team builds when paired with shinobi synergy units.
Delusional Demon (Blood)
Capable mid-tier damage option for filling out a board slot in the absence of higher-tier alternatives.
Saber (Black Tyrant)
A dependable all-purpose A-tier unit that works across most general game content without needing synergy support.
Slime (King)
Versatile pick that holds value across most stages and does not require specific team building to stay useful.
New Units Added in Anime Vanguards with Update 13.0
Three Pirate-focused units joined the Anime Vanguards roster with Update 13.0, expanding Pirate synergy options significantly. The new heroes are as follows:
- Bounty Hunter (King of Hell) [Secret]: Burn and bleed stacks compound quickly on grouped enemies. Wanted application on burning targets rewards well-timed ability rotations and team coordination.
- Beast Pirate (Half-Dragon) [Secret]: Obtained through Rift gameplay. A natural pick for players already running that mode and holds its own against mid-game wave content.
- Scrap Pirate (Metal) [Mythic]: The budget entry point into the Update 13.0 Pirate synergy lineup. Handles early waves cheaply without requiring significant investment to function.
