Street Fighter Duel – Idle RPG has just recently completed their 1st anniversary for the global version. The production value of the game is amazing, featuring large-scale animations and thematic visuals to boost the sense of playing a fighting game. Although it is an Idle RPG, it boasts a ton of fighting mechanics on top of it such as add-on moves, KO strategies, and more. Street Fighter Duel is available as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

Street fighter fans, if you’re planning on starting your adventure in Street Fighter Duel, you should be aware that it is not as simple to climb to the top! You will be facing many difficult challenges and obstacles that require strategic thinking and diverse team comps to clear. We have curated some helpful tips and tricks to help you navigate through the early game turmoil. Let’s begin!

Tip #1. Focus on Clearing the Campaign Mode

Perhaps the most important task at hand when you’re a new player is to advance in the campaign mode. This is a strategically developed game mode featuring multiple chapters, each branching out into different stages. Players can progressively get stronger and fight even stronger foes in these stages. Each chapter culminates at a boss stage, featuring a Boss enemy that is quite powerful. If you are stuck in the campaign mode, then it might be time to look into your inventory and upgrade your fighter power levels.

The campaign mode not only provides you bountiful rewards upon completion but also gives you an aim to look forward to in the long term. Players can test out different team compositions and save one which gives them the best results.

Tip #2. Upgrading your Fighters is a Priority

The most important Street character Duel advice you’ll receive is to begin building out your character roster. This will let you engage in player-versus-player combat in the PvP portions, take on increasingly challenging missions, and complete more of the campaign mode. The three primary resources you get by fighting and waiting around, which are Cash, Fighter EXP, and Breakstones, must be used.

The beauty of Duel is that you should never be afraid to level up your primary roster. You can always utilize the Reset option in the Awaken menu to return trained fighters to Level 1, and you’ll receive a refund for all the materials you used, which you can use elsewhere.

Tip #3. Always do 10-pulls on the Draw System

In Street Fighter: Duel, the ‘pull’ mechanic—a traditional gacha gaming feature—is how you get new fighters and duplicates that you can use to boost your current ones. This may be accessed via the Draw screen in Duel. Pulls can be unlocked with three different forms of currency: Faction Coins, which can be bought from the Mall; Arcade Coins, which can be bought or won from missions; and Heart Gems, which are awarded for adding and connecting with friends.

To take advantage of ‘pity’ mechanics, such as guarantees on your next set of pulls, always save them until you have enough for ten pulls at once.

Tip #4. Learn about the Faction Synergies

The elemental faction system of Street Fighter: Duel assigns each fighter to a distinct group. The three fundamental Factions of Wind, Thunder, and Fire make up the total of five, followed by Master and Infernal. In combat, they follow a rock, paper, scissors strategy. Wind beats Thunder, Thunder beats Fire, and Wind beats Fire again. Master and Infernal counter each other.

You can easily overcome obstacles and become more formidable against teams from the opposite faction if you construct your team correctly. Try to split the three base Factions in a 4-2 formation, utilizing Master type fighters to help you reach bonuses, and employing Infernal type fighters to strengthen your support positions.

Tip #5. Join a Guild to Get More Rewards!

You’re encouraged to form friendships and join guilds in Street Fighter Duel. The game rewards this by giving various currency for connecting with other players in real time, and several daily, weekly, and challenge objectives will demand it. Sadly, there are not many interactive features or game modes to serve for this purpose at the moment. However, friends do act as passive resources when in the time of need as you can summon fighters using the Friendship recruit in the Draw system.
