The latest December update for BLEACH Soul Resonance arrives with a strong focus on limited time content bringing a fan favorite captain into the spotlight alongside new gacha banners daily activities and combat challenges. This update centers around Toshiro Hitsugaya and his iconic Bankai Daiguren Hyorinmaru while also offering generous login rewards and multiple ways to earn valuable progression resources. Limited-Time SSR Toshiro Hitsugaya Gacha Now Live

The​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ main highlight in this update is the release of the SSR character Toshiro Hitsugaya. It joins as a limited time playable character. Toshiro completes the line-up of characters available in the game through a separate limited gacha banner which is there from December 5 to December 19. During this time players can Limited Gacha Tickets to the Toshiro Hitsugaya banner to perform a summon.

There is a pity system in the gacha which guarantees that the players will get SSR Toshiro Hitsugaya within 80 summons. This pity is for all the limited gacha pools and thus your progress carries forward with you on the next banner as well. When an SSR character is obtained, the guarantee counter goes back to ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌zero.

Toshiro Hitsugaya Skills and Abilities Overview

Toshiro Hitsugaya is an SSR rarity character from the Blue element that is classified as a Full Assault type. His core skills and abilities are as follows:

• Bankai – Daiguren Hyorinmaru (Ultimate skill) – Toshiro covers his body with ice and enters Bankai state. In this state, Toshiro can fly above the ground and all his moves will be replaced by more powerful ones.
• Hyoken Hyakkso – Toshiro channels freezing air currents, causing myriad ice flowers to bloom on the enemy’s body. This deals damage equal to 1104% of attack and consumes all Ice Blossoms. Each ice blossom consumed grants an extra 6% damage multiplier. Releasing this skill removes the bankai state.
• Ice Wall (Technique Skill) – Toshiro instantly creates massive ice crystals and fires them forward, dealing damage equal to 105% of attack and accumulating spiritual pressure. Enemies hit by the technique are inflicted with 5 freeze points. After releasing the technique, creates an area filled with ice pillars ahead. The ice pillars explode after 2.5 seconds, dealing damage equal to 67% of attack to the enemies in the area, inflicting 5 freeze points on them, and granting spiritual pressure to Toshiro.
• Ice Blossom (Passive skill) – Toshiro charges up when releasing his basic attacks, Ice Dragon Lunge and Daiguren – Flock of Ice Pillars, his technique, Daiguren – Hyoryu Senbi, and his counterattack, Ryusenka. Charging to a certain level generates 1 Ice blossom, up to a maximum of 8. The number of Ice blossoms is displayed in cross-shaped ice crystals to the left of HP. When Toshiro releases his ultimate skill, all ice blossoms are consumed to deal 6% additional damage for each one consumed.
• Counter – Toshiro falls back to create distance and then lunges at the enemy to counterattack, dealing damage equal to 500% of attack, inflicting 15 freeze points on them, and gaining spiritual pressure.
• Ryusenka (Bankai State Counter) – Toshiro thrusts forward and envelops the enemy in a huge ice cross, dealing damage equal to 600% of attack and inflicting 15 freeze points.
• Frost unto the Heavens, Hyroinmaru (Basic Attack) – Toshiro wields Hyorinmaru to strike 5 times, dealing damage equal to 215% of attack and accumulates spiritual pressure.
• Ice Dragon Lunge (Tenso Jyurin) – Toshiro condenses water vapour into an ice dragon which hits 5 times, dealing total damage equal to 568% of attack. Each hit landed charges Ice Blossom by the number of successful hits. Dodging or countering does not reset the attack streak. If the attack is interrupted, Tenso Jyurin will be prematurely removed.

Icy Soul Crimson Event

The Icy Soul Crimson event gives players a detailed backstory of the character Toshiro Hitsugaya. It features a ton of sub-events, each of which rewards players greatly. While some are easy login-based events, others require more effort to get the rewards.

Event Daily

This is a daily challenge dungeon wherein players can fight the final boss using their own squad. A total of 6 difficulties is available to choose from. Players must defeat the lower difficulty first in order to advance to the next one. Each level has some special effects that you need to be mindful of.

Event Interlude

In this sub-event, players can view the actual storyline of Toshiro Hitsugaya. You can view his journey, his comrades, and how he became the captain of the 10th division. Some are story stages, while others include combat. For each stage completed, you gain stars. Complete all the stages to get more premium rewards.

Event Quests

A host of event-related quests are also available for players to diver their attention towards. These quests demand you complete several objectives pertaining to the event such as logging in, participating in event interlude, challenging the event boss, and summoning on the limited-time gacha banner. Completing these quests can grant you with Spiritual Jade, event currency, Kan, and core stamps.
