Idle Heroes, the popular Idle RPG by DHGames have just release their newest update. Idle Heroes is available as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. The new update and its contents can already be seen live in-game as the patch was concluded on 15th April 2023.

Idle Heroes – New Hero Geester and Sky Labyrinth Event

Geester – New Hero

Geester is a 5-Star Assassin type hero from the Forest faction. The description for Geester reads as follows – ” Like other higher Fungi creatures in the forest, Geester carefully manages and protects his own territory. But in addition to that, he also takes care of the one he loves – a fluorescent mushroom that can understand the language of plants. During a hunting trip, Geester stumbled upon her seeking help and learned of an impending disaster. He promised to help her, despite being powerless.

Since then, after every training session, Geester would go to her side and help clear the area of any danger, preparing for the impending disaster that she kept repeating in her soft blue light. Geester never asked any questions until the day arrived and he realized that the “disaster” was just a long-awaited thunderstorm. Though it was a bit anticlimactic, he was glad to have kept his promise…” 

Idle Heroes – New Hero Geester and Sky Labyrinth Event

Take a look at the all the active and passive abilities of Geester:

Fatal Spore (Active Skill)

Deals Attack damage to enemy with the lowest HP several times. Afterward, deals [Virulent Toxin] damage to all enemies with [Dynamic Hypha] and there is a chance to [Twine] them for several rounds.

Dynamic Hypha: Skill effect. Used to enhance Geester’s skills. Not stackable.

Virulent Toxin: Skill effect. Detonates all layers of targets’ [Poison] and [Burn], dealing the total remaining DOT damage. All layers of [Poison] and [Burn] will be cleared after the detonation (detonation damage have cap).

Twine: Control effect. Twined heroes are unable to release their active skills, basic attacks, extra attacks, or counterattacks.

Venom Extraction (Passive Skill)

Increases the HP, Attack, Crit Damage, and Speed. Increases the damage dealt to Poisoned targets.

Gallant Move (Passive Skill)

Changes the basic attack to: Deals Attack damage to enemy with the highest Speed. Reduces the target’s Energy and increases self Crit for several rounds. If the target has [Dynamic Hypha], additionally [Poisons] the target, dealing Attack damage for several rounds.

Fungi Protection (Passive Skill)

When taking Crit Damage, [Poisons] the attacker, dealing Attack damage for several rounds and inflicts [Dynamic Hypha] on the attacker for several rounds. Afterward, increases self Energy. When landing a Crit with the basic attack or active skill, inflicts [Dynamic Hypha] on the target for several rounds, [Poisons] the target, dealing Attack damage for several rounds.

Daily Gift Event

The Daily Gift event has been the core login event for many years now. The breakdown of the event is simple – free rewards given to all players regularly every day they login. Keep in mind that you can receive only 1 Gift per day for continuously 7 days. Here are the rewards received on each day:

Sky Labyrinth

Sky Labyrinth is the first and only major event in the major event in this update. You might be familiar with this event as it repeats multiple times a year. Here are the general rules regarding the event:

Idle Heroes – New Hero Geester and Sky Labyrinth Event

  • Sky Labyrinth is full of treasures with tablets covering the entire bottom. You’ll need to break these tablets to explore the maze. Breaking a tablet costs a Mithril Pickaxe and subventions your prices or maze events. 
  • Each maze has an exit. Tap the exit to claim all the casket prices of the current floor and enter the coming floor. You won’t be allowed to enter the previous floor once you have entered the new floor. 
  • You can encounter precious Sky Labyrinth cases at specific intervals of floors. These chests or case will be automatically transferred to your Bag after you complete the floor with the casket. The player has full freedom to open the chest any time they want and pick their reward.
  • Unused Mithril Pickaxes won’t be retained for the next Sky Labyrinth event. You can exchange them for Gold after the event ends.
  • Players can smash their way to the exit of the current Labyrinth as long as they have not found exit to the ordinary labyrinth or encountered Treasure Shards along with the exit.

  • Floor 4 – Elite 5-Star Hero Shards x 50 + Spring Points x 4
  • Floor 5 – Limited Skin Treasure Chest x 1 + Spring Points x 4
  • Floor 6 – Quad 5-Star Hero Treasure Chest x 1 + Spring Points x 4
  • Floor 7 – 5-Star Orange Equipment Chest x 1 + Spring Points x 4
  • Floor 8 – Orange Artifact Fragments x 50 + Spring Points x 4
  • Floor 9 – Universal 9-Star Puppet Selection Chest x 1 + Spring Points x 4
