New players will find it much easier to progress now with easier accessibility and more quality of life updates. All players who are currently playing the global version will get a compensation of 300 Crystals due to an error where Halloween Matrona was able to be summoned on the 40 million Download Gowther Banner. Hijack Gowther – Restored Emotions

Hijack Gowther is the newest unit coming to the global version of Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross on the auspicious occasion of it completing its 40 Million Downloads across Android and iOS. This version of Gowther is an HP-type SSR rarity unit from the human race. Hijack Gowther is a unit that relies on ultimate gauge moves with his Crush damage. Crush damage states that the unit does 20% more damage per ultimate move gauge on him. He does Crush damage equal to 180%/270%/450% with his 1st skill depending on the card ranks. Hijack Gowther is a great debuffer unit that can shut down buff skills, ultimate skills, and rank 2 and above skills for 1 turn with his 2nd skill Jack Light. He also reduces skill rank of all the enemies’ skills at the end of turn after using this skill. His ultimate skill Blackout Arrow states that he deals damage equal to 8% of MAX HP to all enemies while also deleting 2 skills at random. This deletion cannot delete Ultimate Moves unless the only moves remaining are the Ultimate Moves. This banner is a great way to spend your gems, especially the free 300 one’s every player playing the global version got.

• Armored Breaker

Rank 1: Inflicts Crush damage equal to 180% of Attack on one enemy. When the hero has 4 or more Ultimate Move Gauge, reduces the enemy’s Ultimate Move Gauge by 1 orb.

Rank 2: Inflicts Crush damage equal to 270% of Attack on one enemy. When the hero has 4 or more Ultimate Move Gauge, reduces the enemy’s Ultimate Move Gauge by 1 orb.

Rank 3: Inflicts Crush damage equal to 450% of Attacks on one enemy. When the hero has 4 or more Ultimate Move Gauge, reduces the enemy’s Ultimate Move Gauge by 1 orb.

• Jack Light

Rank 1: Disables Buff Skills and Rank 2 and above Skills on all enemies; decreases Skill Ranks of all enemies at the end of the turn for 1 turn(s).

Rank 2: Disables Buff Skills, Ultimate Move, and Rank 2 and above Skills on all enemies; decreases Skill Ranks of all enemies at the end of the turn for 1 turn(s).

• Blackout Arrow (Ultimate Move)

Inflicts damage equal to 8% of Max HP on all enemies and Deletes 2 skill(s) at random.

• Alter Ego (Passive)

Increases allies’ Attack-related stats by 2% and Max HP by 1% each time an ally uses a skill. (Limit 10 time(s), applies when entering battle)

Mercenary Matrona – Halloween 

Halloween Mercenary Matrona is also another new unit coming to the global version of Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross for the spooky festival of Halloween. Players will be able to summon Halloween Matrona on her special Step-Up banner. The Special Step-Up banner consists of 10 steps with the Halloween Matrona guaranteed at the 10th Step. The Step-Up banner is a special type of banner that gives players the benefits to summon with some bonuses. Players can summon on this Step-Up Banner to get the following benefits at the following steps: –

• Step 2 -> Summon 11 times with 1 Diamond
• Step 5 -> Guaranteed SSR rarity hero
• Step 7 -> Summon 11 times with 1 Diamond
• Step 10 -> Halloween Mercenary Matrona guaranteed

For the character, Halloween Mercenary Matrona is an SSR rarity Strength type unit from the Giants class. She can remove buffs from a single enemy with her 1st skill Rising Rock Pillar. At the 3rd level of this card, she removes buffs and cancels stances as well. Her 2nd skill Heavy Metal states that she taunts all enemies for 3 turns while increasing all of her Defense Related States by 80%/120%/200%. This is a great move for PvP and we might see her being very prevalent against the turn 1 team.

Hunter Slater – Halloween

Halloween Hunter Slater is one of the 2 units available as the Pick-Up Draw Event for the Halloween Draw Event coming on 26th October 2021. Players can summon on the banner and choose either Halloween Hunter Slater or Halloween Protective Diane at 600 Loyalty points. At 300 loyalty points on the banner, players are guaranteed an SSR hero. Hunter Slater is an SSR rarity Strength type unit. He is a great debuffer that can Disable skills and attack-related stats of enemies. He can also block all skills including Ultimate moves with his 1st skill Ghost Chase.  His ultimate move is a single targeted damaging skill that can also inflict the Infect debuff for 2 turns.

Players can exchange their excess items of certain quantities for other items of different quantities at a certain amount is set as a limit. Players can perform this exchange anytime during the duration of the event.

Event Boss Demonic Beast Crockshell

The new event boss battle is set! This time it will be Demonic Beast Crockshell, defeating which players can get their hands on the newest UR rarity outfit for Gowther. Players can earn the event currency by defeating this boss battle stage every day to later exchange the currency in the Event Exchange Shop for more rewards and goodies. Players can choose to clear the boss battle on 3 different difficulties – Normal, Hard, and Extreme. The harder the difficulty, the more the event currency gained. Every item in the Event Exchange Shop has a price and redeem limit.

40M DL Celebration Spin Event

The 40M Download Celebration Spin is the tried and tested spin event as we have seen in many previous 7DS festivals and celebrations. Players are given tokens to spin on the spinning wheel where they get rewarded based on the number they received out of the total rewards. Players get these tokens by logging in daily as well as randomly dropped when clearing the main story chapters or event dungeons. Each Spin round has a special reward, upon receiving which, players can reset the spin round to progress to the next round.
