Revived Witch, the latest offering by YoStar is a blend of 2D adventured RPG genre combined with gacha specific elements of hero collection. It was released globally as a free-to-play title on both Android and iOS. The game features beautiful 2D chibi models of its characters called “Dolls” in-game while illuminating the other elements using 3D lighting effects. The game mixes features of exploration and puzzle-solving with its aesthetically pleasing turn-based combat system. Players can seek to explore while grinding and fighting enemy monsters to get rewards. It’s still newly released but already has tons of content out to be played by its users.

Revived Witch is a gacha game, which means it relies on a summoning system for players to collect characters in-game. Dolls, the aptly named characters in Revived Witch are the playable units that can be acquired from summoning for them. The summoning part takes place in the Summon tab where players are encountered with different summoning banners. In the beginning, players are offered a chance to summon 100 times and select only 1 rollout of the 100. This makes for some very easy rerolling process. 

Revived Witch features a banner system where players are offered different banners to summon for when they first use the Summon Tab. Every banner has one thing in common – the rates for summoning the base rarities of Dolls. In revived witch, players can summon for 4 different rarities of units:

S Tier Units

Ella

Ella is a UR rarity Doll that is classified as a Destroyer unit in-game. Ella is a strong DPS unit that deals a good amount of damage while remaining bulky and sustaining herself. She sustains with the help of her passive Ancient Inheritance that states she regenerates 2.5% of her MAX HP per second and takes 10% less damage overall. Her Chaos Skill Dragon Blood also states she increases her damage dealt by 30% while increasing Health by 50% and doing an AOE damaging attack. This skill also lets her transform into her Dragon form. Her Order Skill Scorching Breath is also an AOE targeted damaging ability where she deals AOE damage to all enemies before dispelling all buffs on the enemy and lowers their attack by 20% for 5 seconds. This skill will also reduce their physical defense by 30% of her Physical attack when she uses this skill in Dragon Form.

Celanya

Celanya is a UR rarity Doll that is classified as an Assassin unit in-game. Celanya’s passive Dashing Arrows states that with each attack, Celanya deals 1% more damage and ignores the enemies’ Physical DEF equal to 1% of self ATK. Can stack up to 10% for both. Her Chaos Skill Azure Wind is an AOE targeted damaging ability that deals damage 5 times dealing damage equal to 60% of her Attack. During the next 10 seconds of using this ability, all ally’s damage will be increased by 30% of Celanya’s damage. Her Order Skill Blast Arrow is an AOE targeted damaging ability that deals damage 3 times, with each hit dealing damage equal to 30% of her Attack.

Afallen

Afallen is a UR rarity Doll that is classified as a Guardian unit in-game. Afallen’s passive Light of the Sanctuary states she casts her 2nd skill Holy Radiance automatically once she takes damage 15 times. Her Chaos Skill Holy Radiance is an AOE targeted damaging ability that deals damage equal to 300% of her Attack to all enemies, dispelling their buffs, as well as lowering their magical defense by 30% of her own magic defense. Her Order Skill Barrier states – Generates a Shield that absorbs damage equal to 24% of max Health and redirects all damage dealt with allies to herself within the next 10 seconds instead, during which Physical DEF and Magic DEF are increased by 54%, and for the first 2 seconds, immune to all damages. We recommend rerolling for this unit as she is especially useful for the immunity she provides.

Mineer

Mineer is a UR rarity Doll that is classified as a Mage unit in-game. Mineer’s passive Waxing Moon states she has an 8% chance to gain 1 Order energy and increase her damage dealt by 20% for the next 5 seconds. Her Chaos Skill Moonlight is a single targeted damaging ability that deals damage equal to 160% of her Attack while inflicting the target with Magic Spread debuff. This debuff states that the target will take extra damage equal to 60% of Mineer’s Attack when attacked by Mineer. Her Order Skill Overflowing Magic is also a single targeted damaging ability that states – Consumes all Order Energy to attack a single target repeatedly (based on the energy cost). The first attack deals Magic DMG equal to 90% of Mineer’s ATK and each subsequent attack deals 7% more damage.

Tuonel

Tuonel is a UR rarity Doll that is classified as a Healer unit in-game. Tuonel’s passive Child of Taboo states she generates 1 chaos energy every 4 seconds. Her Chaos Skill Forbidden Dark Moon states -Heals all allies for 30% of Tuonel’s ATK per second for 10s, and places Nightwish on them for 10s. Nightwish: Increases Dolls’ ATK by 24% of Tuonel’s ATK and damage dealt by 15%. Her Order Skill Equal Healing is also a healing skill that grants a barrier equal to the amount she healed. She is currently the best Healer in-game.

Caledonia

Caledonia is a UR rarity Doll that is classified as a Guardian unit in-game. Caledonia’s passive Sacred Beast: Strengthen is a unique passive that reduces the damage she receives by 3% of her MAX HP. It also cleanses the debuffs on her once her health falls by 30% HP every time. Her Chaos Skill Overwhelming states – Charges forward and knocks off all enemies in the path, then returns to the original position, immune to all damage and debuffs along the way. Each enemy is knocked off for 0.5s and takes Physical DMG equal to 150% of ATK. Within 10 seconds, the enemies’ Physical DEF reduces by 5% of Caledonia’s Physical DEF every time they take damage. Can stack up to 100%.

Akasha 

Akasha is a UR rarity Doll that is classified as an Assassin unit in-game. Akasha’s passive Field of Swords states that whenever she uses Meteor Slash, there’s a 10% chance to reduce the energy cost of the next Arcane: Lustre Slash by 1. Her Chaos ability Arcana: Lustre Slash is a single targeted damaging ability that deals damage up to 6 hits to the back row enemy. If the back row enemy dies, it will switch to the front row enemy. The damage dealt is equal to 60% of her Attack for the first hit which decreases by 10% per subsequent hit. Her Order Skill Meteor Slash is a single targeted damaging ability that states – Deals Physical DMG equal to 48% of ATK twice to the enemy in the back row. Increases Crit Chance by 5% and Crit DMG by 10% for 5s. Can stack up to 25% and 50% respectively.

Goorvieg

Goorvieg is a UR rarity Doll that is classified as a Compeller unit in-game. Goorvieg’s passive Call of the Abyss states she increases the MAX Health and attack of Creature of the Abyss by 15% each. Creature of the Abyss is the transformed form that she acquires by using her Chaos Skill Aura of the Abyss. This skill states Goorvieg Transforms into a Creature of the Abyss, dealing Magic DMG equal to 120% of ATK to all enemies and increasing their Magic DMG taken by 24% for 10s (Creature of the Abyss inherits 130% of Goorveig’s max Health and ATK, and heals all allies for 100% of Goorveig’s ATK when casting Energy Sword). Her Order Skill Ritual states she generates 2 Chaos energy, heals all allies, and deals magic damage to all enemies with this skill. This is quite a loaded skill but costs 3 Order energy. 

Nannar

Nannar is a UR rarity Doll that is classified as a Guardian unit in-game. Nannar’s passive Reflection of the Mirror states whenever she takes damage, she has a 10% chance to activate Curse of the Mirror. However, this effect can only be triggered once every 2 seconds. Her Chaos Skill Curse of the Mirror is an AOE targeted damaging ability that deals magic damage to all enemies 5 times. It also dispels all buffs on enemies as well as lowers their magical defense by 12% of Nannar’s magic defense for 10 seconds. Can be stacked 5 times. Her Order Skill Guard of the Mirror states – Reduces damage taken by 20% and gains a Shield equal to 30% of max Health. For 10s, all damages taken by allies will be directed to Nannar.
