S Tier Classes

Let’s take a look at all of the classes in this tier:

Sorcerer

blog-image-SwordxStaff_Article_TierList_EN02

Sorcerer is the strongest Tier 2 class in the game and the reason many players commit to the Mage path early. It leans entirely into ranged area of effect damage, clearing whole packs of enemies in a single spell and wiping dungeons far faster than any other class at this stage. The trade off is fragility. Sorcerers have low defense and depend on positioning to stay alive, and single target boss fights can feel slow until your gear catches up.

Berserker

Berserker is where the Warrior path really takes off. Duelists already hit hard, but Berserkers gain strong area of effect skills that let them clear most level appropriate content comfortably while staying dangerous in PvP. It keeps the burst damage identity of the Duelist while fixing its biggest weakness, which was slow clearing speed against groups.

Arcanist

Arcanist is the payoff for anyone patient enough to level a Sage through its slower early game. At Tier 3 the class gains access to situations where it becomes immune to damage and death outright, which is a massive survivability jump no other class matches. On top of that, its DPS skills finally become genuinely competitive, so it stops feeling like a pure support and starts carrying its own weight.

Destroyer

Destroyer is the Sorcerer’s endgame form, and it does exactly what the name suggests. Its area of effect skills reach their peak here, letting you delete groups of enemies with very little effort. The one thing worth planning for is defense. Because the class remains squishy, putting some points into defensive skills rather than going all in on damage makes late game content far smoother.

Dominator

blog-image-SwordxStaff_Article_TierList_EN06

Dominator sits at the very top of the Sage line and is arguably the most complete class in the game. Picking up a couple of its newly unlocked skills feels like gaining a hundred extra levels, and the class handles virtually every type of content without needing a specific team around it. If you want a class that dominates late game across the board rather than specializing, this is the destination worth working toward.

A Tier Classes

Let’s take a look at all of the classes in this tier:

Mage

blog-image-SwordxStaff_Article_TierList_EN07

Mage is the ranged magic starting class, and it feels underwhelming at first, which is why a lot of new players default to Warrior instead. Do not let the early game fool you. Both Mage promotion lines end up extremely powerful, so if you can push through the slower opening stretch you will be rewarded heavily.

Warrior

blog-image-SwordxStaff_Article_TierList_EN08

Warrior is the melee physical starting class and the more beginner friendly of the two. It feels stronger and more responsive in the early hours, which makes it a comfortable pick for a first character. Since you can swap classes for free at the start, there is no downside to trying it before committing.

Sage

blog-image-SwordxStaff_Article_TierList_EN09

Sage is the support half of the Mage split, built around shielding, healing, and debuffs that amplify your whole team’s damage. It becomes effectively mandatory in party content, but solo progression early on is noticeably slower than Sorcerer. This is a class that rewards patience and investment rather than delivering instant results.

Duelist

blog-image-SwordxStaff_Article_TierList_EN010

Duelist is the king of Tier 2 PvP and it is not particularly close. Built around Crit Rate, Crit Damage, and multi hit combo chains, it delivers elite single target damage with built in lifesteal sustain, making solo progression smooth without heavy gacha luck. It is a great free to play pick, though it is weak at clearing dungeons and punishes sloppy positioning.

Archmage

blog-image-SwordxStaff_Article_TierList_EN011

Archmage is the Tier 3 step on the Sorcerer line and keeps the strongest area of effect damage in the game. It sits slightly below the S tier picks purely because other classes catch up at this point rather than because it gets worse. If your goal is fast farming and daily clears, this remains an excellent place to be.

Conqueror

blog-image-SwordxStaff_Article_TierList_EN012

Conqueror is the endgame form of the Berserker path and finally unlocks the class’s true late game skills. It is exceptionally strong in PvP, and boss content becomes noticeably easier once you reach it. The one caveat carried over from the Duelist line is that its burst focused identity peaks earlier than the Mage lines, so it can feel like it plateaus sooner.

B Tier Classes

Let’s look at all of the classes in this tier:

Knight

blog-image-SwordxStaff_Article_TierList_EN013

Knight is the defensive half of the Warrior split, using taunts and barriers to protect high damage teammates on the front line. It is reliable and safe, and consistently useful in raids and guild PvP. The problem is solo play. Knights clear dungeons slowly, which makes solo progression a grind compared to damage focused classes.

Paladin

blog-image-SwordxStaff_Article_TierList_EN014

Paladin doubles down on everything Knight does well. Tanking prowess gets meaningfully stronger here, but the class gains almost nothing on the offensive side. If you specifically want to main a tank, this is a solid step forward. If you want to clear content on your own, it will feel restrictive.

Guardian

blog-image-SwordxStaff_Article_TierList_EN015

Guardian is the final tank evolution and adds more defensive and supportive tools to an already durable kit. It remains the best pure front line option in the game, and it becomes more relevant in endgame team content than earlier tank tiers. It is only in the B tier because raw damage output stays low throughout the entire line.
