Her base stats also compliment her ability to sustain and absorb lots of damage. Inam’s 1st ability Revenge Strike states that she will take a taunting stance where she taunts all nearby enemies while taking 50% reduced damage from all sources. Further, after the taunting stance is over, she will counterattack dealing 1000% of the damage she received during the duration. Her 1st passive ability Boiling Rage states that when Hunter receives damage, their Attack and Lifesteal increases by 9% for the next 15 seconds. Blackfeather Bullet’s 1st active ability Napalm Bomb is an AOE-targeted damaging skill where he throws a bomb at a targeted location that explodes and deals damage to all enemies hit. Zatu’s 1st active ability Blasting Blade is a single targeted damaging ability that states “Attack the beast continuously, dealing damage equal to 300% of the Retainer’s Attack and increases their damage dealt damage received by 10% for 15 seconds.” This extra damage received applies to the damage dealt by the hunter to the beast as well. Flux Vanguard is another one of those pseudo-DPS type retainers that help the hunter deal more damage to the beasts. Flux Vanguard’s 1st active ability Flux Decimation states that she unleashes a Annihilator that helps assist the hunter in dealing damage to the beast. The Annihilator is a secret ancient Kallar technology that only targets the beasts, dealing 50% of her own Attack as damage after the hunter attacks. At Level 3, this ability further increases Hunter and Shika’s attack by 30% each respectively. Flux Vanguard’s 1st passive ability Kallar Overload states that Hunter’s Attack increases by 10% flat. Bearhawk Storm’s 1st active ability Gagadma’s Stormhammer states the following – “Gagadma swings his hammer, dealing damage equal to 300% of the retainer’s Attack and has a high Stagger Rate. Increases Gagadma’s and the Hunter’s Attack and Stagger Rate by 30% for 20 seconds after Gagadma swings his hammer.” Bearhawk Storm’s 1st passive ability Veteran’s Ease states that Hunter gets increased attack by 400 points while Gagadma himself gets 4% increased Attack. Eroding Strike’s 1st active ability Violent Spores states the following – “Boils your Kallar to continuously erode surrounding targets. Deald damage equal to 100% of the retainer’s Attack. This damage lasts for 15 seconds.” This is a great AOE-targeted damaging attack but doesn’t work that well against boss monsters due to the low damage rate of the skill. Eroding Strike’s 1st passive skill Chain of Fury states whenever the Hunter takes damage, he gets 6% Increased Attack and Defense. This effect can also be triggered when the Hunter deals critical hit damage to enemies. His 1st active ability Resourcefulness states the following – “Attacks the target multiple times and drops 3 ingredients that randomly grant one of the following 3 effects when picked up”:

  • Increases Attack by 10%
  • Restores HP equal to 3% of MAX HP every second
  • Increases Defense by 20% and grants Poise

At Level 3, the effects granted by this ability will last for 30 seconds. This can be a huge deal breaker in many PvP scenarios, especially if you pick up the right ingredient at the right time. Bonecrushing Chef’s 1st passive skill Brew Medicine states that all debuffs from the hunter are removed and further grants them Debuff immunity for 4 seconds. This effect can be activated once every 45 seconds. At Level 4, this effect can be activated once every 20 seconds. Hela’s butterflies and healing zone restore HP equal to 200% of her Attack. This skill consumes Energy and can be disabled.” At Level 3, Hela’s butterflies and healing zone restore HP equal to 400% of her Attack. Shiny Kallar’s 1st passive skill Restorative Arts states that whenever the hunter takes enough damage to be rendered incapacitated, he will not die but instead recover 20% of his HP.
