The Lunar New Year is in full swing and all the game’s are celebrating it in style! Lord of Heroes has their own peculiar way of celebrating the event with it’s players by releasing a series of events titled as the “Lunar New Year Update”. Although this small update doesn’t have anything new, it does provide a ton of lucrative events for players to complete and reap juicy rewards from. The turn-based RPG by CloverGames has seen a massive surge in popularity after they released a fresh set of gacha system through which players can recruit new heroes. Being a mix of both paid heroes and free heroes now, the game aims to smoothen out the bad taste it had left during its global launch. Lunar New Year Series of Events

The Lunar New Year series of events have already started in Lord of Heroes as we write! The update went live on 23rd January 2023 and brought along 4 different types of events that play an important role in entertaining and engaging the players. While some of the events are criticized by the community as repetitive and boring, the rewards offered through these events are definitely what excites the majority. 

Let’s take a look at the different events announced for the Lunar New Year:

• Mystic Beast Hunt – Lunarbler
• 15-Day Resolution
• Plaza Playtime
• Lunar New Year Special Buff Event

Mystic Beast Hunt – Lunarbler

As per usual, the expected Mystic Beast Hunt events are some of the best events in Lord of Heroes according to the number of rewards available by completing them. The Mystic Hunt for Lunarbler is going be available from 20th January 2023 to 31st January 2023! If you’re not aware of how these mystic beasts hunt event works, here is a short gist of it:

• Players can hunt mystic beasts by clearing out story mode stages and/or Primeval Hall floors. They appear in the 2nd wave of story mode stages and the player should have completed that stage for them to appear.
• Whenever the player defeats a mystic beast, he/she will be rewarded with Event currency which can be exchanged for rewards in the Special shop.

• Mystic beasts come in different elements and different elemental beasts give different amounts of event currency. The rate and element of these beasts’ appearance are at random.
• The Shop’s line-up changes according to the beast being hunted. For example, the current beast being hunted is Lunarbler.
• Unused event currency will be converted to 500 gold each after the event ends.

So, as you can see, we are talking a lot about Special Shop and hunting Lunar Grab Bags and that takes us to the rewards! Take a look at the rewards available for all players!

15. Guardian Rune x 1 (10 Lunar Grab Bags required) – Purchase limit up to 5 times
16. Light Rune (MID) x 1 (10 Lunar Grab Bags required) – Purchase limit up to 20 times
17. Light Rune (HIGH) x 1 (10 Lunar Grab Bags required) – Purchase limit up to 10 times
18. Dark Rune (MID) x 1 (10 Lunar Grab Bags required) – Purchase limit up to 20 times

Apart from these rewards, players can also earn rewards according to the total number of Lunarbler beasts hunted by the players altogether globally. These numbers can be tracked from the main event screen! Here are the rewards given to all players on meeting certain milestones, regardless of their individual participation:

• Energy x 3000 – 50,000 Beasts Slayed
• Energy x 3000 – 100,000 Beasts Slayed
• Energy x 3000 – 150,000 Beasts Slayed
• Lunar Grab Bag x 20 – 200,000 Beasts Slayed
• Energy x 3000 – 300,000 Beasts Slayed

• Lunar Grab Bag x 40 – 500,000 Beasts Slayed
• Energy x 3000 – 650,000 Beasts Slayed
• Energy x 3000 – 800,000 Beasts Slayed
• Lunar Grab Bag x 60 – 1,000,000 Beasts Slayed
• Energy x 3000 – 1,150,000 Beasts Slayed

15-Day Resolution Event

The 15-Day Resolution event is a 15-day long login event where players need to simply log in to the game and they will be rewarded for the day. The event duration is roughly for 20 days, hence, the logins need not be consecutive but within the time period mentioned. The event starts on 19th January 2023 and ends on 9th February 2023. Players are rewarded in Crystals just for logging in. Not everyday is a reward day but instead the rewards are distributed in 5 different steps. Here are all the steps and the rewards associated with them:

• Log in for 1 day(s) – Crystal x 100
• Log in for 3 day(s) – Crystal x 300
• Log in for 5 day(s) – Crystal x 500
• Log in for 10 day(s) – Crystal x 1000
• Log in for 15 day(s) – Crystal x 1500

Avillon Events for Lunar New Year

• Plaza Playtime (25th January – 8th February) (Daily Event) is a new type of event that rewards players based on the number of friendly matches they took part in the Unity Plaza. The rewards and milestones to get the rewards are as follows: –

1. 5 Friendly Matches done in Unity Plaza – Linkstone x 10
2. 10 Friendly Matches done in Unity Plaza – Linkstone x 20
3. 20 Friendly Matches done in Unity Plaza – Linkstone x 30
4. 30 Friendly Matches done in Unity Plaza – Linkstone x 50
5. 50 Friendly Matches done in Unity Plaza – Linkstone x 100

Lunar New Year Special Buff Event

A ton of buffs are also planned during this special festival of lights! Here are the different buffs currently active in celebration of the Lunar New Year:
