RAID: Shadow Legends is Plarium’s collection RPG set in the world of Teleria, where players assemble teams of Champions to take on dungeons, Clan Bosses, Faction Wars, and PvP arenas. Update 11.80.0, which Plarium announced on October 8, 2026, focuses on improving the modes players already run every day rather than adding a new game mode. It introduces Relic-themed objectives for Clan vs Clan Tournaments, improves the contents of Artifact Chests, lowers enemy stats in five Faction Wars Hard Mode crypts, and delivers major rebalances to Skartorsis and Kurosa the Covetous. This guide walks through each change and explains what it means for your account.

Update 11.80 at a Glance

The official notes for Update 11.80.0 are headlined around new Clan vs Clan objectives, improvements, and rebalances. Some changes, like the Artifact Chest improvement, affect every account immediately, while the Champion reworks only matter if you own the Champion in question. The table below summarizes each area.

Area What Changed Who It Affects
Clan vs Clan Tournaments New Objectives tied to crafting and upgrading Relics Clans competing in CvC
Doom Tower Auto-Climb Reward window now lists every reward earned instead of only 10 unique rewards Players who climb on Auto-Climb
Artifact Chests Higher chance of Artifacts with a greater Rank and Rarity, including chests already in the Inbox All players
Faction Wars Hard Mode Lower enemy HP, ATK, and DEF in Stages 1 to 21 of five crypts Players working through Hard Mode
Champion Rebalance Reworked kits for Skartorsis and Kurosa the Covetous Owners of either Champion
Fixes Battle, interface, and connection bug fixes All players

New Relic Objectives in Clan vs Clan Tournaments

Clan vs Clan Tournaments reward clans for completing Objectives across different parts of the game during the tournament window. Update 11.80 adds a new set of Objectives built specifically around Relics, asking players to craft and upgrade them. Relics are equippable items that provide a single passive effect on top of a Champion’s normal gear, and they are crafted in the Forge using dedicated materials, many of which come from Faction Wars Hard Mode.

The practical takeaway is about timing. Relic materials are limited, so it can be worth holding your Relic crafts and upgrades until a CvC Tournament is running, letting the same materials improve your Champions and contribute to your clan’s progress at once. The patch notes do not list point values for the new Objectives, so check the tournament screen in game when the next CvC begins.

Two Relic fixes arrive in the same update. The Forge was miscalculating the quantity of materials used to craft Relics, and the Lifespring Skull Relic was not making all heals critical on High Elf Champions. Both issues are now fixed.

Doom Tower Auto-Climb Now Shows Every Reward

Auto-Climb lets you push through multiple Doom Tower floors without starting each battle manually. Before Update 11.80, the reward window at the end of an Auto-Climb run displayed only 10 unique rewards, so longer climbs could hide part of what you had earned. The window now displays every reward collected during the run.

A related fix addresses Background Auto-Climb, which could become unavailable if your Internet connection dropped and you then started another battle. That issue has been resolved.

Better Odds from Artifact Chests

Update 11.80 improves the contents of several types of Artifact Chests, giving you a higher chance of finding Artifacts of a greater Rank and Rarity. The chests covered by this change are:

  • Dragon, Ice Golem, and Fire Knight Artifact Chests
  • The Elite versions of the Dragon, Ice Golem, and Fire Knight Artifact Chests
  • Exquisite Artifact Chests
  • Magnificent Artifact Chests
  • Supreme Artifact Chests

The improvement also applies to chests already sitting in your Inbox, so any you have been saving will open with the improved contents. The patch notes do not publish the new drop rates, so expect better average results rather than guaranteed top-tier pieces.

Faction Wars Hard Mode Crypts Get Lower Enemy Stats

Faction Wars Hard Mode unlocks after you complete Faction Wars on Normal and asks you to clear each Faction’s crypt using only Champions from that Faction. It is the main source of Faction Wars Relic materials and higher rarity Glyphs, and fully completing it rewards the Mythical Champion Polara Fireheart.

Update 11.80 reduces enemy HP, ATK, and DEF across Stages 1 to 21 of Hard Mode in five crypts: Dark Elves, Orcs, Banner Lords, High Elves, and Ogryn Tribes. Enemy lineups and Boss mechanics are unchanged, and SPD, ACC, and RES were not part of the announced changes. If you stalled in one of these crypts, it is worth retrying your highest uncleared stage.

This is the first half of a two-part rebalance. Plarium has said that Update 11.90 will target the stage Challenges inside Faction Wars Hard Mode, with some Challenges receiving full reworks and others having their requirements lowered. The full list of revised Challenges has not been revealed yet.

Skartorsis Rebalance

Skartorsis is a Legendary Champion from the Undead Hordes Faction, and Update 11.80 redesigns him around reviving, cleansing, and supporting his team. Every one of his skills receives changes, and he also gains a new Passive.

His first skill, Hand of Doom, still attacks all enemies, but its chance to steal 1 random buff from each enemy rises from 30% to 50%. It then applies a Buff Spread effect, taking 1 random buff from Skartorsis and placing it on all allies. A useful buff he steals can now be shared with the whole team.

Command previously placed a 50% Increase ATK buff and a 30% Increase C. RATE buff on all allies for 2 turns. It now places a 50% Increase ATK buff and a 50% Increase ACC buff on all allies for 2 turns, and it also decreases the cooldowns of all ally skills by 1 turn, excluding Skartorsis himself.

Rebirth receives the biggest change. It now revives all allies with 50% HP and 50% Turn Meter, removes all debuffs from all allies, and heals them by 25% of Skartorsis’ MAX HP, plus an additional 5% for each debuff removed from that ally. It can also be used when no allies are dead. The Ascended version keeps the same revive and cleanse, and additionally fills each ally’s Turn Meter by 10%, plus another 10% for each debuff removed from them.

His new Passive, Mortal Momentum, fills his own Turn Meter by 10% at the end of each of his turns, rising to 20% when at least one ally is dead. Together, these changes mean Skartorsis can work as a cleanser and healer while the team is healthy, and cycle back toward Rebirth faster once a teammate falls.

Kurosa the Covetous Base Form Changes

Kurosa the Covetous is a Mythical Demonspawn Champion with two forms. Her Base Form protects her team, and when her last living ally dies, she instantly transforms into her Alternate Form and gains an Extra Turn. Update 11.80 strengthens the protection in her Base Form and makes her Alternate Form more self-sufficient.

Surge of Chaos still attacks all enemies and heals all allies, but it now also restores 10% of each ally’s destroyed MAX HP, and its healing value has been increased. This gives Kurosa a way to recover destroyed HP during longer fights. Anything for Siroth still removes all debuffs from all allies and places a 50% Increase ATK buff and a Shield on all allies for 2 turns, with the Shield value now increased.

Running Rampant previously placed Taunt and a 25% Fortify buff on Kurosa and Unkillable on every ally except Kurosa. It now places 25% Fortify and Unkillable on all allies, including Kurosa, for 2 turns, and Taunt on Kurosa for 2 turns. The old version had Kurosa drawing attacks while being the one Champion left without Unkillable, so this change closes an obvious gap in her kit.

Her Passive, Collector of Pawns, still reduces her incoming damage by 15% for each living ally. She is now immune to Fear and True Fear, and she is fully healed every time she transforms into her Alternate Form.

Kurosa the Covetous Alternate Form Changes

Destroyer of All keeps its core mechanics. Kurosa attacks one enemy three times, and killing the target deals pure damage to every other enemy equal to 30% of the initial target’s MAX HP, or 10% against Bosses and minions. The skill still cannot critically hit, but its damage multiplier has been increased.

Icon of Havoc still steals all buffs from all enemies before attacking them, and places a 25% Weaken debuff for 2 turns on targets with lower ATK than Kurosa. Bosses can no longer resist this effect. The skill now deals 15% more damage for each buff stolen, and its base damage multiplier has also been raised, which makes it considerably more threatening against buff-heavy teams.

Ruthless Agent now removes all debuffs from Kurosa first. It then places protected 15% Shatter, 30% Increase C. RATE, and 50% Increase ATK buffs on her for 3 turns, and applies True Fear to all enemies for 2 turns. Targets with equal or lower ATK than Kurosa cannot resist the True Fear, and neither can Bosses. The skill still grants Kurosa an Extra Turn.

Vile Murderess now makes Kurosa immune to Fear and True Fear in her Alternate Form as well. She still deals 15% more damage for each dead ally, and now also gains 15% more damage for each enemy under Fear or True Fear. Her Turn Meter mechanic has changed too: instead of gaining 10% Turn Meter per dead ally after each critical hit, every critical hit now fills her Turn Meter by 15%. Several values are described only as increased, so check her skill descriptions in game for exact multipliers.

Notable Bug Fixes

Update 11.80 also includes a long list of battle and interface fixes. Several of them affect popular Champions and common activities directly:

  • Inquisitor Shamael’s passive counterattack no longer activates too early during an ally’s turn.
  • Multi-Battles with Khamir Scald-eye no longer slow down over consecutive runs or overheat devices.
  • Abbess’s Mass Impalement now applies Decrease DEF to all enemies instead of a single target.
  • Champions with after-revive effects, such as Dorothy Gale and Little Miss Annie, are no longer excluded from team attacks when revived by an ally’s skill.
  • Live Arena searches no longer end early on an unstable connection and leave players stuck on the Processing screen.

Other fixes cover Arne the White’s Bear-Heart counterattack, The Tin Woodman triggering too many counterattacks after multi-hit attacks, and errors when saving skill presets with modified priorities.

Update 11.80 makes everyday play in RAID: Shadow Legends smoother and more rewarding. Artifact Chests offer better results, Doom Tower Auto-Climb shows everything you earn, and five Faction Wars Hard Mode crypts are more approachable, with Challenge changes due in Update 11.90.
