Free Fire, as it does every year, is preparing to celebrate December with the Winterland update. This update includes new events, skins, and many other rewards you can collect. To help you make the most of it, we’ve prepared this article: below is everything you need to know about the new Free Fire Winterland update.

Snowy Bermuda: New Map

Actually, this isn’t exactly a new map, it’s a snow-covered version of Bermuda. But that’s not the only change it brings: Snowy Bermuda comes with exclusive weapons. These weapons throw snowballs, slowing down enemies and reducing their HP. Special weapons like Ice Dart can instantly freeze enemies. Moreover, since it deals AoE damage, you can eliminate a large group with a single dart.

On this map, you’ll also be able to take advantage of two new gameplay features. The first is skateboarding: you can slide across the snow and gradually increase your speed. You can move faster than regular vehicles, but remember that you will be completely vulnerable to attacks. The second is Dreamport: there is a wish fountain in a random location on the map. If you find it and make a wish, you will get random (and valuable) loot.

The new map has been active since December 1st, but the gameplay features we mentioned will be added on December 12th, 2025. You can currently take advantage of the item generator adjustments that come with this map. In Round 2 item generators, you now have a better chance of obtaining the following weapons: Parafal, Winchester, M1014-1, Thompson, MAG-7, and VSK94. However, keep in mind that the Winchester’s damage has been reduced and the helper bot’s range has been reduced from 16 meters to 12 meters. Also, the M60 and M249 no longer have muzzle slots.

Finally, let’s remind you that you can earn a Sweet Dreams Pan skin and a random weapons loot box by playing CS Ranked a total of 15 times until December 11, 2025.

Free Rewards for Everyone

All of these rewards are free to obtain, and you can claim some of them now. For others, you will have to wait until December 12, 2025, and depending on the event timeline, this period may extend until the end of December. Also, keep in mind that not all of them are confirmed: some of the rewards on this list are expected to be included in Winterland 2025, based on past Winterland events.

New Winterland Events

Throughout Winterland, you’ll also be able to participate in some new events. Below is a list of these, but keep in mind that, like the rewards, not all have been officially confirmed yet: some minor changes may occur.
