BGMI 4.6 Midnight Hunters Guide How to Become a Vampire in BGMI Version 4.6

BGMI 4.6 has turned Erangel into a vampire hunting ground, and the biggest twist is Bloodline Awakening. Getting eliminated no longer means watching from the sidelines, because fallen players can rise again as vampires and hunt everyone still alive. This guide explains how to become a vampire, what each vampire skill does, when the mode is live, and what else is new in BGMI version 4.6.
What Is Bloodline Awakening in BGMI 4.6?
Bloodline Awakening is a limited time mechanic inside Midnight Hunters, the new vampire theme mode on Erangel. In a normal match, an elimination ends your game. Here, eliminated players get a second life on the vampire side with a new look, stronger base attributes and four special skills.

Once a player turns, every hunter left in the match becomes an enemy. Up to 20 vampires can be active at the same time, so the late game often turns into a full hunters versus vampires brawl. It also means no fight is truly over, because the squad that was just wiped can come back with claws out.
BGMI 4.6 Bloodline Awakening Schedule
Bloodline Awakening does not run all the time. KRAFTON set it up in timed windows, and the vampire option only appears while one of them is open. All times below are in IST.
| Window | Starts | Ends |
| 1 | September 18, 7:30 AM | September 21, 5:29 AM |
| 2 | September 25, 7:30 AM | September 28, 5:29 AM |
| 3 | October 2, 7:30 AM | October 5, 5:29 AM |
| 4 | October 9, 7:30 AM | October 12, 5:29 AM |
| 5 | October 16, 7:30 AM | November 17, 5:29 AM |
The first four windows were weekend events. The fifth window is the longest one. It opened on October 16 and stays live every day until the early hours of November 17, which lines up with the end of the Midnight Hunters mode on November 16.

How to Become a Vampire in BGMI 4.6
There is no vampire class to unlock in the lobby, and no item turns a player into one. The change only happens after elimination, inside the right mode, while a Bloodline Awakening window is live. Follow these steps:
- Update the game to BGMI version 4.6 from the Play Store, App Store or the official BGMI website.
- Check that a Bloodline Awakening window is live using the schedule above.
- Select the Midnight Hunters theme mode on Erangel and start the match as a hunter.
- Play the match normally until your character gets eliminated.
- When the prompt appears, choose to join the vampire faction. Decline it to leave the match as usual.
- Return to the battlefield as a vampire and start hunting the hunters who are still alive.
Why the Vampire Option Might Not Show Up
- No active window: The vampire prompt only appears during the Bloodline Awakening dates.
- Wrong mode: Classic matches and other modes do not have the vampire return. It belongs to Midnight Hunters on Erangel.
- Old game version: Players still on an older build need to finish the 4.6 update first.
- Vampire cap: Only 20 vampires can be active at once, so the offer may not appear when that limit is already reached.

All Vampire Abilities in BGMI 4.6 Bloodline Awakening
After joining the vampire faction, players get a vampire appearance and stronger base attributes. On top of that, every vampire gets four skills:
- Claw Strike: A three hit melee combo. This is the main way vampires deal damage, so getting close is everything.
- Absorb: Drains materials lying on the ground to restore health. Great for healing between fights.
- Crimson Sense: Detects a nearby hunter and marks their location. KRAFTON India also calls this skill Blood Sense.
- Amber Form: Turns the vampire into a fast moving amber state that cannot take any damage while it lasts. It is also called Blood Amberfication.
BGMI 4.6 Tips for Playing as a Vampire
Start every hunt with Crimson Sense. Wandering around without a target wastes time, and marking a hunter first shows exactly where to go. Once the target is marked, pick a path that keeps buildings, trees or rocks between the vampire and the hunter’s gun.
Save Amber Form for open ground. It makes the vampire fast and immune to all damage, which is perfect for crossing a field or closing the last stretch to a hunter. Try to time it so it ends right next to the target, then start the Claw Strike combo straight away. Using it too early leaves the vampire stuck in the open with no protection.

Pick fights at the right moment. Hunters are weakest when they are healing, reloading, opening crates or busy with PvE monsters. Sound helps too, since a Scream Crate gives away the position of whoever is opening it. Between fights, use Absorb to refill health before chasing the next target.
Late in the match, vampires do best in numbers. With up to 20 of them active at once, rushing one hunter squad from different sides leaves the hunters very little room to escape.
Hunter Strategies to Beat Vampires in BGMI 4.6
The first rule for hunters is simple. A won fight is not always over. The players who were just eliminated can return as vampires, so avoid looting in the open right after a fight. Heal up, reload and get into cover first.
Vampires have to come close to hurt anyone, so range is the hunter’s best friend. Keep them at a distance with assault rifles and DMRs, and shoot before they reach melee range. When a vampire switches to Amber Form, stop wasting bullets because it takes no damage in that state. Reload, back off and fire again once the form ends.

Buildings are very strong in this mode. The Crystal Barrier creates cover in windows, and the Silvermoon Chain works against both vampire players and monsters. Keep Hunter Bandages and Scarlet Tonic for the late game, when vampire numbers are at their highest. BGMI 4.6 Midnight Hunters Locations and Guild Missions
Midnight Hunters reshapes several Erangel spots, so even players who know every BGMI secret location and Easter egg will find plenty of new things to explore:
- Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry and Gatka: Taken over by vampires and redesigned with a dark gothic look and special missions.
- Hunter Guild at Stalber and Military Base: Home of the Nightkeeper, the strongest hunter NPC, who appears at one of these two spots at random each match.
- Hunter Shooting Range: A practice spot for aim. Better scores bring better rewards.
- Bell Tower: Shoot the clock to stun vampire monsters nearby.
- Golden Bat Statues: Placed around towns and city centers. Interact with them before or after missions for bonus rewards.
- Scream Crate: A locked chest with loot inside. Failing to decrypt it brings a penalty, and its loud scream reveals your position to nearby players.

Other Big Changes in BGMI Version 4.6
- Parachute Auto Glide: Push the movement joystick up while parachuting to glide forward without holding it.
- Portable Inflatable Boat: Pick it up, place it on water, ride it and take it back when done.
- Tracked Amphicarrier: Now has a chance to spawn in the Custom Garage and is activated with tokens.
- New Map Details: Interactive lockers inside buildings, buoys near Military Base and supply crates floating on water.
- Erangel Missions: Special items found during matches start small missions with rewards in Classic and Theme modes.
- In Match Shop: A new tab filter makes items quicker to find.
- Weapon Tweaks: The ACE32 gets less recoil and screen shake. The AKM, M762, Honey Badger, MK47 and Groza feel steadier in single and burst fire.
With recoil changes on so many rifles, it is worth checking the full BGMI weapon list again and retuning the best BGMI sensitivity settings for your favorite guns.
Players can enjoy playing BGMI on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
